    A Calico Catte!

The first time I learned about the Cat Cafe concept, I immediately fell in love with the idea. Tally Cat Cafe is the first cat cafe I have ever visited and I found it to be pretty cool - but not quite what I envisioned when I first learned about the cat cafes springing up in other parts of the world. The best way for me to describe this is sort of like going to the humane society kitten room, but with a lot more modern seating and cat toy options - oh and generally agreeable/fun kitties/cats roam this space. No cats are at war like in many traditional pet adoption centers. I suppose I did not do enough research prior to visiting, since I had zero idea about the $7/hour fee to actually get to visit/interact with the cats. For some reason I pictured the sort of place where you purchase a beverage, sit at a random seat in the establishment, and cats may just be roaming around. Not the case here, heh. It is not unreasonably expensive but it is VERY helpful if you plan to arrive AT or near the TOP of an hour, or else you will do what I had to do- which was order two adorably decorated beverages and wait for 45 minutes. While you wait, you do have the entertaining view of watching the kittens play with the guests that are currently visiting (10 guests maximum at one time). But if there are a lot of people waiting to see the cats, then you might be waiting for quite a bit of time. Luckily they keep all visiting groups to a 1 hour limit - but we had the misfortune of only getting to see the cats in their playful, hyperactive state through the window for 45 minutes, because when it was our turn to finally enter the room, all of the cats were worn out and ready to go to sleep. So the group before us really lucked out. We still enjoyed our time in the cat room but had far less interaction with the cats than the previous group. One perk is that Tally Cat Cafe gives out loyalty cards, so since I earned two stamps from my first visit, I only have a few more visits to go before I earn a free one. A reward that I might not be able to reap unless I have company in town and another reason to go back. Lord knows I don't need another meowster running around just yet!

Such a fun experience! Love the cafe and before entering the cafe to be able to watch the cats Lattes, wine in a can, and craft lemonades were all delish. We visited as part of my daughter's 10th birthday celebration and had the best time. We loved the space, ability to interact with all of the cats and kittens, and it has a great mission. My only regret is my girls didn't push harder to adopt a cat. But when we're ready to adopt again, this is where we'll go.

Would recommend this to anyone who has had a bad day! Be careful though,y wife and I almost walked out with a new cat to take care of! The coffee is delicious and the moscato I had was great! The staff and the cats make any day brighter!

You can ask them to make a cat with the foam in your coffee!

When we found out there was a cat cafe in Tallahassee on our way to Orlando, we HAD to stop and were definitely not disappointed! When we first walked in, there was a super cute photo area, and the coffee was super good! They even made a cat in the foam! The cat area smelled surprisingly pleasant! I guess I assumed it would smell like cat litter, but I was wrong. The staff was super sweet, and the cats were to die for. I hope I will be able to stop again some time!

I've been to my share of cat cafes, including some in Japan where the trend originated. Tally Cat has a nice cat area. It's spacious and has a lot of toys for the cats. All the cats were adorable and it's great that you can adopt them. The owner told me that they usually do more than 4 adoptions a week. The cafe part of Tally Cat is lacking. There are not many food options and the drinks are limited. I got a cat design in my drink but it didn't exactly come out right. I feel like once this place expands upon the cafe aspect, it would be a really great experience.

Cutest little café! Everything about this place makes me want to go back. Delicious coffee and amazing presentation (see photos!), friendly staff, and obviously all the benefits of being around and interacting with kitties. Great as a relaxing solo outing or fun date idea. You can also access the café/kitty-viewing-area without the admission fee if you just want a nice place to grab a drink and hangout (they serve alcohol, too!). You can tell the owner puts a lot of thought into this place. Professional photos of their cats cover the walls, wonderful small business to support if you are in the area.

We just went to this cat cafe and it was a lot of fun . They had some super sweet cats and the staff was nice. Our cat-inspired cappuccino was really cute.

Really cute place! My daughter made reservations for our group of six. The staff is friendly and so are the cats. We were there for about an hour, had our tea or coffee that we purchased and got to play with the cats. Although we went in late afternoon and the kitties all seemed tired and were sleeping most of the time. It's a great place for anyone looking to adopt a cat in Tallahassee area and a great way to support a small business.

Adorable kitties, delicious and artful drinks and cute merch- plus an IG ready wall! What more could you ask for? Adoptable cats! Love that they've saved so many sweet felines since they opened. It's a must see when you visit tally. Make sure you get the Burmese if you're a Nutella lover like me ;*) ***make sure you make a reservation ahead on the weekend

Delicious drinks, friendly staffs and cute kitties! Also a great place for studying! I can sit there for hours and not get distracted at all! If you don't like this place, it is your problem : )

After losing one of my cats unexpectedly, I decided my wife and I needed to visit the tally cat café to help with the grieving process. We decided to get coffee - it was really good. I was actually surprised expecting sort of mediocre hotel coffee but it was on brand for Lucky goat and the espresso was very good. The prices are excellent. The donuts looked really good but we didn't have any. The variety of cats was spectacular! Different ages, different sizes, different looks, different personalities - it was really great, there was something for everyone. My only complaint was that there were two unsupervised children. They were about 12-year-old girls who had no concept of personal space. It really helped us to process our grief and loss. Thank you tally cat café. Highly recommend.

They have tons of toys, scratch posts, and chairs for you to sip and enjoy while you play

This place is so lovely!!! Not only do you have the sweetest baristas but also the coolest freaking environment to enjoy your drink too! All of the animals are so friendly and curious so for the hour you enjoy your drink you are never lonely.

They told me on the phone that I could not go back with her which broke my heart. I've never left my kitties or dogs alone to be put to sleep without being with them. But I'm a senior citizen on social security with little funds having seven pets at home. So I went ahead and took her there to the shelter So an hour after that I was waiting and waiting and waiting and Iwent back to the desk and asked what was taking so long? They told me because of the cat's age 17 years old, that it was taking her longer to be put to sleep because her blood flowed slower. I have had cats for over 30 years, six at a time and put many down up to 21 years of age. That was the most ridiculous explanation I could ever imagine‼ At 90 minutes I went back to the desk and said give me my cat. I'm going someplace else to what is going on??? and a lady came up and said the same thing and that they were almost done. I told him how upset I was, and that I was going to post on Facebook what a terrible experience it had been. When I brought my kitty home I unwrapped her from the bag that they put her in, so that my five other cats and dog could say goodbye. She had a sibling. They say you should let them see the dead pet, so that your other pets are not looking around for her and know that she is passed away. So when I unwrapped poor Coco I saw that both her front paws had been shaved, so obviously they had trouble finding a vein to put in the anesthetic ‼‼ Why couldn't they be honest and tell me that they were having trouble finding a vein to put the anesthetic in her? Why did they have to lie about it? Her heart would have been pumping 10 times faster, not slower being in a strange place, being put in a carrier, and driven there, so it certainly didn't have anything to do with a slow blood flow I would not take my pet there if anyone ever thinks of it, for euthanasia even though it only cost $25. They're liars. I have no idea what kind of terrible panic my kitten would have gone through back in that room for 90 minutes with these people stay away from this place unless you want to adopt
