Earthwise Pet in the Bradfordville Shopping Center has a new groomer who is absolutely fabulous! Her name is Jod'e, and she has great ideas for doing fancy hair cuts, and she can calm a nervous dog shot doesn't like nail trims! I tried taking my dog to groomers all over Tallahassee, but he fought them, and wouldn't let them cut his nails, even when three people worked together. When I brought him to Jod'e, she made friends with him and calmed him before she trimmed his nails. She's wonderful with dogs, and they know she loves them! Jod'e makes going to the groomers stress-free! read more

The cashier that helped me when I was checking out was knowledgeable and gave me some starter food to try my dog on before opening the bigger bag I was purchasing. She gave recommendations for my dog's size and transitioning her to the new food and avoiding stomach repercussions due to said transition. They have a frequent buyer program (though I'm not quite sure how it works yet), but I am happy to support a local venue close to my house. We just moved from Colorado, and were in need of getting our red heeler and blue heeler bathed, their ears cleaned, and their anul ducts expressed. We passed this place by chance, so we decided to stop in. We were amazed at the fact that their prices weren't over inflated like some of the other groomers we'd called. The grooming salon is small, but the staff knows what they're doing, and each person absolutely LOVES dogs. The manager Cissy, puts you at ease since she knows you're entrusting part of your family to them. My Luna and Sol look amazing, and I couldn't be happier with this place. They've groomed my 75 lb Schnodle in the past but they just refused my attempt to schedule an appointment. Apparently they don't have enough employees to handle large dogs anymore. It's disappointing but we'll find somewhere else. read more

There should be regulations against this type of business. If they cannot handle a challenging groom, they be transparent about that fact. Instead, I was honest about my dog's anxiety; they took him back anyway and charged me 50 when they "couldn't" do the job. If the groomers were more experienced and had knowledge of grooming solutions for anxious dogs, and if the products are worth what they charge for them, they would employ the treats and stress relieving products for dogs in their shop. In 8 years, I've never had to come and pick my dog up mid groom. He was only there 20 minutes. I don't believe this groomer is skilled at anything than fleecing money from honest people. My first appointment Wednesday was cancelled last minute by someone calling on behalf of Jode. And today, it seemed Jode was in a hurry to close shop for the day. I think she just didn't want to take the time to treat a dog with care. They should have been up front, and they should have at least evened his coat up somewhat...again, just seemingly inexperienced, careless service from staff seeming to put greed over expertise or integrity. read more

I was looking for a new groomer for my dogs and Earthwise was recommended to me by an acquaintance. One of my dogs is a Samoyed, giant fluff ball with extremely thick undercoat. It had been too long since his last bath and groom. The other is a German Sheppard mix who is a ball of energy but also sheds so badly. I was blown away by the service and attention to detail from Sara and Brendan. They did an amazing job of removing the undercoat shed and clipping their nails. When i got home the dogs nails didn't make a sound on the hardwood floors. I will be back for sure. read more

Nice pet store, although pricey. Best groomer, Sissy, left before the pandemic. Tried the others, but they were not as good as Sissy. Upon picking up my little dog after one appointment, she was sitting on a CHAIR, trying to get away from a much larger dog. I felt sick, she was terrified and shaking when I got her. Apparently, they let the dogs run loose in the back where the grooming is done. They don't require proof of vaccination either, so beware! read more

It's really great to have a pet supply store with such high quality products on this side of town. I have finally found food that doesn't make my animals sick! It's always a pleasure to shop here; there is very convenient parking for dropping off pets for grooming and loading up the trunk with food. If you haven't booked an appointment with the in house groomer, Sissy, yet, do your pet a favor and make one! I've had poodles my whole life and she is the most consistent, talented and thoughtful groomer I have come across. read more

Great groomers however customer service was a bit sub-par. We arrived early and dropped our pup off with no issues. It took 5 hours for the grooming to be completed, which was expected since it was a Saturday. My only issue was during pick-up. Being first time customers our initial reaction was to go straight back to the grooming counter to request our dog, no one seemed super attentive when we first walked in. We waited about 5 minutes until someone walked back to the groomer door only to then ask us if we have been helped and rather than being apologetic for the wait, they began to slyly blame us for not saying anything. In my experience with customer service, the last thing you ever want to do is blame the customer. Eventually we received our dog, made our way to the check out counter to then be asked again if we were waiting to be helped, we responded "yes, we assumed we would pick up our dog where we dropped her off" to which the worker replied "oh we thought you were just perusing the shampoos".... I could keep writing about a few more snarky remarks the cashier made, but I think you get the gist here. Overall, the grooming was amazing, but the service could have been a little better. read more

Had a horrible experience at a DIFFERENT grooming place. I was very apprehensive taking my Australian Shepherd to a groomer again. But this place DID NOT DISAPPOINT! They were so nice. My appointment didn't show up because they had a system error but were sweet as could be. My appointment wasn't until 10am, but they let me drop her off at 8am because I had work. Lisa greeted me with such kindness and showed love to my dog from the beginning. I'm a total dog mom. My Aussie had to get her first true groom with her adult coat growing in. They truly groomed her throughly and took wonderful care. I will be going back for sure! read more
