Here is my take.. I…read moreneeded the soonest available apt and the person I attempted to see was unavailable, THANKFULLY, S. Anderson was! Here is my experience with her.. INCREDIBLY thorough asking A LOT of questions, she prioritizes ALL of your concerns (and I mean all of them.. from major ones to the smallest) She doesn't provide you with generic answers.. instead, she gives it to you straight. She sends your referrals in while you are in the room with her. Top this off with one of the sweetest and kindest treatment I have had the privilege of experiencing. I have been seeing her for over a year now, along with my husband and our neighbors across the way. She is genuinely fantastic, I have never respected anyone more in the medical field more than her.

Since doctors can choose to move their practice to other places etc., so I'm only referencing her knowledge, skill, and level of care - which by the way is amazing. She super intuitive and caring. Moreover, she understands my health concerns and listens to my questions. Under her care I feel like I am getting back to my best self. Whether its my battle with migraines or a case of the cold, she's always provided great care and knowledgable insights that have allowed me to return to feeling better. Thank you Dr. Anderson!

I was expecting a typical yearly checkup but it seemed she wasn't sure why I came since I'm a healthy individual. I've gotten yearly checkups for almost a decade now, since I want to continue to be in good health and catch things early if something changes. However, it didn't seem to make sense why I would go and I left feeling confused about my appointment but I suppose with a sense of all was well with me. So that's good! Dr. Architect has a spa and offers services that seem to help people look and feel younger. That is wonderful and interesting! But that's not what I was coming for. Just a regular 'ole doctor's appointment to make sure I'm not dying was my goal. Haha! Overall, Dr. Karen Architect is a personable medical professional who spends a good amount of time with you.

When I first started with Dr Architect I felt that she really cared about me and my health. But as time went on I realized that it was more about her weight loss and skin care products then my health. I also didn't like the fact that she would send me to get an xray or CT scan. And her receptionist was supposed to call me to set up an appointment for a specialist but she would never call me. This happened on several occasions and when I complained to Dr Architect she put the blame on me. She would tell me that I should call her receptionist and ask her to send me to a specialist. I became a number to Dr Architect and not a patient.

Horrible!!! I went to her last Monday for help with chest…read morecongestion, sinus pressure, fever and aches and pains. She comes in the room and sits on the counter and starts swing her legs, as if to say my visit was no big deal to her! ( very unprofessional!) She proceeds to check every and ask me a few questions. She decides to give me an anabiotic, and asked if I've ever had it in the past. I was so sick I couldnt remember if I've had that anabiotic before. I looked around and realize she didn't even bring my file in with her! Thinking back now if she had my file with her she would have seen in it I have had the drug before and it didn't work on me! In fact the last time she put me on it I end up in the ER! So, I went home started the anabiotic on a Monday, by Thursday I wasn't feeling any better and decided to call her. She had her assistant called me back and tell me the anabolic needs 5-7 days to work. Ok, I said so I suffered through 9 days of being terribly sick, missed 3 days of work! I finally called her back the following Tuesday to tell her I was still sick and I needed her to call me in a different anabolic. She had her assistant call me back (she didn't even have to decency to call me back herself )to tell me, ok yes Ashley will prescribe you another anabolic, but if this doesn't take care of your infection then she's sending you to an ENT specialist, as if she is scolding me for still being sick!! Omg! Made me feel like she's just had it with me and she done! I will never go back to her and highly recommend you don't wast your time or money on her!

Sean Dittman is my NP at Affinity…read more His listening skills are greatly appreciated. He is what I call a "teaching doctor!" When you go in with a problem he will listen with interest, diagnosis (with evidence), explain what is happening and propose next steps IN DETAIL to cure or manage your medical problem. He's not about "big Pharma," more about all natural but has no hesitation using it if he feels it's best for you. For the record, I drive from San Antonio to see him, that's how much I appreciate and respect him. Two negatives: Affinity is not on a lot of HMO's. I have a PPO but my elderly mom's HMO does not recognize them. Personally, if I had to, I would pay out of pocket, he is that good !! The other negative is it is next to impossible to see him same day you have a medical problem, but they do try. Quality health care and having someone who actually listens is becoming a rarity and, in my opinion, worth the wait.

They recommended going to an urgent care. I made an appointment at one location first and was met by awful customer service and they were about to charge me $50 for a consult when they didn't even have strep tests or antibiotics to prescribe saying it was backordered. So I cancelled and reached out to Affinity. The customer service and care they offered from the start was first rate and continued to make me feel taken care of. Oh and they were able to easily take a strep test (positive) and prescribe antibiotics which I picked up 15 mins later at my pharmacy. Affinity is amazing and will now br my first pick!
