I was most impressed by the massive fish fountains and being able to climb over everything. In a way it was a very interactive restaurant inclusive of a boat ride if you choose to partake. I could liken it slightly to an amusement park. There are lots of small private huts all about the restaurant, but to get one you might have to reserve in advance. We were walk ins and for our party size was unable to get one... darn, but we still had fun and the live band we sat near was really friendly, even doing some request songs as a welcome back to the Philippines and a happy birthday for the little girl in our group. Before we got to eat, we explored everywhere, everything! Took photos and climbed on ward. Around evening the entertainers begin their show. Between them, a band, and all architecture/statues to look at, you'll be very occupied. I have to admit.. I've eaten on banana leaves before, but something was exciting about having a table spread of leaves and tasty food.They even garnished the mango smoothie with cute flowers. The only thing I think is silly and very out of place in this restaurant is the weird Disney statues that seem forgotten to time. They're kinda covered in moss, and look a bit terrifying. Their bright amusement park colors are an eyesore when beside the woods, jungle, Asian aesthetic. Plus they're covered in moss and look grungy and somewhat post apocalyptic. Just imagine theme parks that are abandoned.. Other than that, it's a really cool place. You'll kinda think you stepped into another world or an interesting party as the entertainers juggle or do stuff along the piers and walk ways before the show.

FOOD Baked Tahong (Mussels) with Cheese, Buttered Garlic Hipon (Shrimips) and Kalamares (Squid) were our orders. Tahong and shrimps were a little small but we got what we paid for, especially some tasty cheese and butter. Kalamares was a safe choice and still good too. Basically, everything was simple and flavorful but the magic word is AFFORDABLE! She wanted to sponsor the reception as a gift to her goddaughter and made all the reservations. Usually "Palutuan" restaurants let you go to the market to buy meats and seafood and they cook it for you, but Robbie's saved us all the hassle and they volunteered to buy all that we need and that they will be handling everything. They also let us use the large private room for two hours for free. After the baptism , we arrived at Robbie's and everything was already set up neatly and the food was served immediately, It was amazingly delicious! The buttered garlic shrimps and baked mussels were to die for, the pork sinigang and grilled liempo were cooked perfectly. Overall everyone enjoyed the meal and I was a happy mommy! It was really hard to say what my favorite dish was because everything was so delicious and incomparable. What we ordered: -Garlic, chili shrimp: Oh my gosh. IT WAS SO DELICIOUS!! It was flavored, seasoned just right. It had a sweet little taste to the flavoring and my assumption is that it was due to the butter in the PI. I would HIGHLY recommend getting this! -Tenigue sinigang: I've never had fresh tenegue until visiting the Philippines. Tenigue is delicious - it has a similar taste and texture to tuna. Add Tenigue in sinigang and wow - how delicious!! The thick, flakey texture adds so much depth to the sinigang. -Bulalo: I didn't try this but my brother ate the whole bowl and didn't really share with the rest of the group. *eye rolls* anyway, he must have enjoyed it a lot since he didn't share. The only thing he mentioned was the fact that it didn't have enough of "fat" -Fried Tenigue: Another variation of Tenigue. So good!! I dipped it in Patis and Calamansi. -Fried tilapia: I mean, it's basically fresh, fried tilapia and what else can you ask for? But if you're just gonna order fried seafood, I'd pair it with their veggies or their pinakbet. -Pinakbet: We got our pinakbet without any shrimp since my mom has a shrimp allergy. Without the shrimp, it was amazing!! I loved the mix of veggies. The veggies were cooked really well too - it wasn't too soggy which could happen really easily. I can only assume that the pinakbet bet with shrimp probably taste better. Other tips/hints: -Free, fast WiFi. It was great for travelers like me! -Parking. Easy to find and there was a small fee.
