This is surely a celebrity destination in Nashville. But I never actually shopped there ... until yesterday. In search of a birthday present for my wife, I perused the clothing on the uppermost of three floors looking for something that would match her style. Under the impression that everything in the store was uber-expensive, I was surprised at the vast range of prices! You could find a $40 skirt on sale, or a designer $1000 jacket, everything from bargains to the pinnacle of fashion! Searching for the right item but (as a typical male) rather clueless about fashion, the most charming young lady named Lindsey emerged and became my personal guide, my guardian angel of fashion. With class, sophistication, and professionalism, this Nordstrom employee offered suggestions, gave expert advice, found additional options for clothes in the back, and truly went overboard to make sure I was happy, comfortable, and enlightened. I left with 4 new bras, 3 panties, and 2 perfumes!! (The perfumes were free though with a promotion running right now). This all happened because of an employee named Taylor. She was so sweet and SUPER helpful! Right away, she helped me figure out I was wearing the wrong size bra and then she went on a personal shopping spree for me. She brought several different styles to the dressing room for me to try in my new size. Once I found some I liked, she walked me over to each display to show me where I could find different colors. She was so helpful and friendly, remembering my name throughout the whole shopping extravaganza! Can we say promotion?

Tonight, I went shopping and the staff were friendly and asked to take my clothes and prep a dressing room for me. They remembered my name and made me feel welcome. While I was trying on clothes, they checked in a few times to see if I needed anything or if they could grab items that o wasn't purchasing. They helped looked for items in different sizes for me. The layout of the location in Green Hills is fantastic. It's spacious and you don't feel crowded by other customers. There is a parking lot right next to the store front which is super convenient I found some great purchases and look forward to coming back in the future.

Well, our kid wore the shoes for NO MORE THAN 2 HOURS before the lights stopped working. So we tried to return the shoes to Dillard's the very next day. The staff refused to take the shoes back because they had been worn. We explained the issue was not wear, but rather defective lights (obviously). We even asked for the manager, but the manager also refused to take back the defective shoes. The manager should be fired immediately. Choosing to bicker over $40 shoes, and losing an entire family of shoppers FOR LIFE. How extraordinarily stupid. We will take our business elsewhere.
