i had gone here since i was 16, on and off, im 27. i use to really enjoy going to Tammy's! they're all very kind people, but i feel there's a line that needs to be drawn with comfortability with the work done on nails. if you get too comfortable you start to put less care into your work, no matter what you do. these last three times i have gotten hurt with the nail drill. my pinky, ring finger AND middle finger nail bed hurt so incredibly bad and it's been almost 12 hours since i left. the first time i was there Henry told me to let him know if he hurts me, i just always feel bad, but even after i voiced it hurt he continued to use the same pressure and go over the same spot on my nails. my pinky finger was actually red for a few hours and now there's just a small cut that's been left. he also left a glob of acrylic under my nail because he didn't want to hurt me anymore, but honestly if less pressure was used or the speed was turned down just a bit i fully believe it would've been fine. i also have left with chipped nail polish the last two times and this time there's like dust in my pointer finger nail? i'm really sad to have to find a new salon, im very loyal to my soil but i cannot keep leaving with hurting nail beds and paying for chipped nails. again, this family is very kind but i just am not a fan of my last 3 visits. read more

I started getting acrylic nails plus shellac to break my lifelong nail biting habit. It's going pretty well so far, but I decided to go with something other than black this time, so i had them do alternating primary colors (red, yellow, blue). Tammy Nail is not the cleanliest, and there's tons of nail dust everywhere, and all over the stations. It was a huge turn off for me, especially with Covid going on (not a great look). My nail tech Henry was very friendly and skilled. I can tell he's been doing nails for many years. He did an excellent job on my acrylics, but I have a suspicion that he didn't use shellac polish like I had asked for (at least it didn't say so on the bottles). Ive had them for one week and theyre still holding up and not chipping, but If they dont last two more weeks I might go back to get them redone. It was about a $50 job (after $10 tip) which is a normal rate, I just hope I got what I paid for. The nails look perfect for now though, I just wish the place was a bit more sanitary. I might not return there for my next set because of this factor. read more

Do not recommend. Friendly staff but the service was slow, my card was charged $25 over the verbal price I was given. My nails were already chipping within 4 hrs of getting them done. And I have NEVER bled so much when removing my acrylics. My fingers hurt so bad!!! read more

The business itself is very dirty and outdated. Very disappointed in their services. I went here faithfully a few years ago and then stopped and recently started coming again. The first couple of times were great. Then things started to go downhill. I started to build a relationship with the team and they seemed to get comfortable and careless about my nails. I overlooked the cleanliness and the small chips in my nails but after this last time I'm very frustrated and will never return. I went in on Monday after my nails were done that past Thursday and asked them to fix my nails since all of them were chipping. Jason (Tammy's husband) looked at my nails and didn't say much of anything. He started speaking in another language to Tammy and she told me she had two people before me and I would have to come back later in the day so she could "fix" them. I work in management myself and if one of my customers were unhappy I would be sure to put them first and fix whatever I could to make them happy at no cost to them. I didn't end up going back in to get them fixed. I'm done wasting my time. read more

Took my daughter there to get nails done for homecoming and I got a pedi and full gel set too. Spent $92 and my nails and my daughters look like crap. I'm at say 3 and they look like they are coming off. They are lumpy and not shaped right. The pedicure lasted all of 5 minutes. No real care was given. I'm upset because the first time I went their was a great experience 3 years ago. I thought it would be again but it wasn't. Tammy is a very nice person but not very good at nails. read more

We waited an hour and a half with no time estimate or any updates on when we would be helped. The only communication we had was upon entry when they asked what we wanted (full set for one and a gel manicure for another). No confirmation or time estimate given. An hour into the wait, they finally told us we could look at the color swatches. Again, no time estimate or updates. We waited another half an hour before leaving. The people in front of us were getting regular manicures with nothing special. It shouldn't have taken this long and the customer service was horrible. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE!! Had my nails done WEEK ago and one came off and the others are lifting and get caught in my hair. RUN, don't walk AWAY from this dirty nail shop. It's disgusting. They tried to make my nails like claws. I am 50 years old. There are many other shops around. Avoid getting anything from them. They totally SUCK. AND, they DO NOT give refunds. DON'T GO HERE. EVER. The place looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. Nail dust everywhere and the tables aren't cleaned between clients. I went in for a Shellac manicure, realized halfway through that he wasn't even using Shellac product (he was using Gelish). Had to go back two days later to have the peeling polish fixed. Then had to go back two days after that because the polish was peeling again. I asked for my money back and they gave me $18 of $30 back because they said that's how much the "Shellac" polish cost. I went there 2 times now. Had acrylic nails done and a gel polish on the tips. My nails grew out in 2 weeks and needed a fill in they said it would be about that long. The gel polish lasted for 2 weeks. Henry was the first one I seen then today I seen Tammy and her husband. Tammy is amazing and so welcoming. I would highly recommend Henry and Tammy. read more

I have been going here for a year just because of Henry who does an excellent job. Yes, I have overlooked the conditions here just because of him. Tammy use to work at Diamond Nails many years ago. The last time here, I had an appointment, I waited well over an hour. This time I had an appointment, wait was at least 30 minutes. He had just started with someone. Yes, I was on time. I was angry and told them that I was done, no more. It didn't even get a reaction from the owner, Tammy's husband, who has the personality of a rattle snake. He is rude, obnoxious, and everything else everyone said. Customer satisfaction is foreign to him and a course in customer relations would not help. I went for a manicure/pedicure on Friday. It was my first pedicure so i wasn't exactly sure what to expect. So, things weren't perfectly clean, but i wasn't getting any digging into my nails and such, so i wasn't too worried. When the next client came in after me, i noticed that he used the SAME pumice stone as he used on me and didn't clean off the table in between us. Plus my nail polish started chipping on Saturday! I didn't know what was available, what I wanted, and I tried to discuss with the man. he became rude and abusive and threw me out of the salon because I was "too hard to wait on". I was just trying to get some information cuz I didn't know anything. When getting something done, especially to my body, I want to know all about it before proceeding. This is the only place I go for my acrylics! Love it here. The staff is super nice. I am very much at ease. My nails stay on better here than anywhere. They remember things I say and ask questions at different appts. Scheduling can be an issue, but with any place that is walk in welcome, that can be said. I don't go with a time limit. I only trust Tammy to do my nails. Yes her husband can be a bit of a butt, but if you over look that you are fine. I almost always make an appointment and yes there is a bit of wait at times even if you have an appointment, but I have not experienced any issues with the service from Tammy. I always plan that it will take double the time since there are times her husband will have her stop and do something else. Personally I think that if you take her husband out of the picture it would be a much better place. read more
