I drove 100+ miles and picked up my kitchen. After spending a few hours assembling the cabinets I realized that the cabinets were not the right size. 30" vs the 36" I had indicated that I needed. I was Not happy but decided to just deal with it and use what I was sold. When I went to install the cabinets on the wall I realized that the over the refrigerator cabinet was 24" deep instead of the 14" that I had requested to match the depth of the rest of the cabinets. This was a deal breaker for me as this cabinet door would not open due to it hitting the refrigerator hinges. I called customer service and spoke with someone that I could barely understand and explained the situation. When I was done explaining, the line was disconnected!!!. I started over and spoke to another person that was hard to understand with a dog barking in the background. This person set me up with an online appointment to resolve the problem. Six hours later I had the online appointment where the nice person that I could understand explained to me that they only designed kitchens and had no authority to resolve the situation. He then gave me a phone number to call to resolve the situation which was the same number that I had originally called. I called again and the individual I spoke to didnt seem to have enough knowledge about their product to help me. At this point I asked to return the cabinets. Ikea will pick up the cabinets in 9 DAYS. Then 5-6 business days later I will be refunded the money. So now I have to wait two more weeks to be able to reorder cabinets elsewhere because my money is tied up by this fiasco!

I have to say I really enjoy seeing this stuff in person instead of ordering online. Many times I've been surprised by either the quality or the size of things that I order off of Amazon, there's something to be said about being able to see it in person. Again, I didn't even know I was looking for benches, but the moment I saw them, I thought that is so much nicer than just having things in boxes. This isn't a place you go to save money, because I'm sure some other organizational thing will catch your eye and you'll decide you need it. I don't think this is a bad thing because a cleanly house helps ease the mind. Everyone working there was so friendly, they saw us struggling with boxes and came and grabbed them to put upfront for us. On a Saturday at around noon it was surprisingly not busy at all. We were shopping for beds and taking several minutes trying them out. After showing us a few mattresses, we weren't finding any that we loved. All of a sudden, the salesman stated "Ok, bye, have a good one" in a totally dismissive manner. He did not say this in a friendly tone and immediately walked away from us and sat down at a desk, completely ignoring us until we left the store. My wife and I were very confused by his behavior since we had been friendly toward him during the entire visit. His statement was extremely sudden, rude, and out-of-line, ending any chance of us purchasing a bed there. I don't write many reviews but wanted to share the experience we had. This woman-owned business is a home design studio, but it's also a specialty home/kitchen shop supporting local businesses. Amanda (the owner) and Alicia are so warm, welcoming, and helpful. They make me feel right at home and as if I have known them for years. You should definitely check out this hidden gem.
