I didn't think I would buy this beautifully refurbished bike that day, but after chatting with Cesar it became clear that doing business with him would be a very positive experience. I was right! He went out of his way to make sure the bike fit me perfectly by ordering additional parts to extend the head stem and raise the seat. He kept me informed about when it would be ready and went out of his way to earn my business. While his bike shop is not geographically convenient to me, after this experience, I would travel the extra mile(s) to San Anselmo to do business with Caesar again -- in a New York minute! (Plus there are beautiful bike trails in the area). The whole experience was A-1. Highly recommend this shop.

I had never been to Caesar's but decided to try it out since I was in a bit of a pinch. I arrived as the shop was opening, and Caesar graciously put my bike on his stand and fixed it as I waited. The repair included tapping a bolt hole I had damaged on the spider. I like establishing a relationship with a shop, and I used to go to Tony Tom at Bicycle Odyssey. Caesar's technical ability and friendliness really won me over as a customer and I'll take my bikes to him from now on.

After getting hit by a car, the trucks on my Evolve skateboard were bent, and I was worried about finding the right replacement. Thankfully, Last Mile Marin had exactly what I needed in stock. What really stood out was the level of care and service. John took the time to walk me through my options and even let me test ride one of the shop boards equipped with Calirides 105 wheels. I've always been a die-hard tire rider, but after trying those rubber wheels, I'm completely converted--I'll never go back. Huge thanks to John for the patience, expertise, and overall great experience. If you're into electric skateboards or just want top-tier service, this is the place to go.

I would strongly caution anyone against trusting Last Mile Marin to diagnose or repair an eRide…read morePro. We brought my girlfriends son's eRide Pro in because the bike would turn on, but it would not send power to the motor. From the beginning, I specifically asked them to check the BMS fuse. I asked more than once because my understanding was that eRide Pro dealers have diagnostic tools available to help identify battery/BMS issues. After having the bike for weeks with very little communication, we were told the battery was bad and needed to be replaced for approximately $2,000. They also told us they would look into aftermarket battery options and call us back. That call never came. After more waiting and following up, I again specifically asked them to check the BMS fuse. A couple more weeks went by, and we were again told the battery was bad. This time, the replacement quote was approximately $2,900. Fortunately, we did not authorize the repair. We picked up the bike and had someone else look at it. And guess what the problem was? The BMS fuse. The exact thing I repeatedly asked Last Mile Marin to check. The fuse is approximately an $8 part. There were also some loose connections that needed attention. Once those issues were addressed, the bike worked. So instead of a $2,000-$2,900 battery, the actual problem included an $8 fuse and loose connections. What makes this so frustrating isn't simply that a diagnosis was wrong. Mechanics and technicians can make mistakes. It's that I specifically asked them multiple times to check the component that ultimately turned out to be the problem, and we waited weeks while being told we needed an extremely expensive replacement battery. Had we simply trusted their diagnosis, we could have spent thousands of dollars unnecessarily. The lack of communication was also unacceptable. Weeks would pass without updates, promises to call us back weren't kept, and we had to repeatedly chase them for information. I will be contacting the owner directly because I believe they need to know exactly how this was handled. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Last Mile Marin for eRide Pro diagnostics. If you're told you need an expensive battery replacement, get a second opinion before spending the money. In our case, that second opinion saved us thousands of dollars.
