The quality of their workmanship is second to none, whether they are building something new or repairing old shoes. The owner, Charlie, is very friendly and willing to spend as much time with you as you need. Even the young woman at the counter is very courteous and friendly. So I stopped in this little country store and was immediately transported land of nostalgia. Loaded…read morewith tons of country dry goods and treats, this store harkens back to simpler times, times when Disney just did cartoons and Opie and Andy spent their afternoons fishing. I love the selection of locally crafted goods, and snagged some jalapeño mustard and garlic pickles as testament to things yummy. This shop also had nice selection cast iron skillets, boots, jackets and gloves. Seriously, this shop has it all, and I think anyone in the area is missing out if they don't stop in at least once. The owners are extremely friendly and they even steered me toward a pair of Alpaca socks, which I love beyond measure; every time I wear them, I know that I'll think of this store and better times.
