There was only one nail tech working the day I went in…read more I'm glad I made an appointment because two walk-ins came in while I was there and they had to be turned away. The first thing I noticed was the VERY strong smell of stale cigarette smoke. I don't remember what this place used to be before it was a nail salon, but the stale smoke smell didn't leave during the remodel. After my appointment I got home and had to change my clothes because they smelled like stale smoke. I was happy with the service provided but I probably won't go back because of the smell. If they're ever able to figure out how to fix that, I would consider going back because I was happy with the service.

So good for the skin. I try to get to the shop now whenever I'm in town. Since then the owner completed has her esthetician training and hopefully will be able to give facials etc in the shop - she has plans I think for two locations. Even before she completed her training she seemed to have excellent knowledge about skincare products and oils for different skin types and conditions. When I asked her about a certain skin condition she didn't try to sell me a product but acknowledged that it was very hard to treat and there was nothing "magic" out there to fix it. So I really trust her recommendations, besides just loving the oil she makes and sells. This IS a tiny shop, but make sure to stop by if it's open. I don't buy a lot of skin care products in general, and when I do they often sit unused till I throw them out, but not these ones. Also they smell great!
