My initial observation was how CLEAN, how BIG of a space it was, and that so many people were working for being open only about 15 minutes. I love a good just at/around opening walk-in to secure a quick pedicure. I wish I remembered names but both men were so kind, polite, and did an absolutely out of this world job on our feet. I'm a runner, and therefore my feet get ABUSED. Lol! He scraped up a good deal of callous that needed to go, and trimmed my nails perfectly. His system for the gel was probably the fastest I've seen and was done before my moms regular pedicure. A flawless job, truly. I can wait to come back for the rest of my summer pedicures. However, at the suggestion of a friend, I decided to give Peter a chance. I am so happy I did. Peter is great! Not only is he a talented nail tech but he is very personable. I have the dip powder manicure and have never been disappointed. Sometimes, Peter will combine and create colors and designs which have all been beautiful. My nails were dip powder, uneven surfaces and not uniform by the end. Not to mention my nails were SO incredible sensitive for months after they bled through to my skin after getting the dip off. She had electric filed them down to the skin practically. Gosh, such an awful experience. The place was extremely unsanitary (unsafe), the floors looked like they had never been cleaned, and the table I sat at wasn't even wiped clean. It was as if someone just shoved over a few items on a crowded table and said "sit down" for a free service. But instead, I had to pay. Unprofessional and would never recommend.

She's very good and I was happy to see her thrive even though she decided to move to JJ salon. We followed her there even though I had qualms about the salon after seeing the pompous and self-congratulatory look of the website. The prices are considerably higher than what we were used to paying but still, we knew we would get good cuts and dyes from Brittany. My friend missed an appointment - her fault, she agrees. She called four minutes away from the salon at her next appointment to apologize and say she was on her way. The receptionist said she would have to make another appontment but before that my friend would have to pay $260.00 to reimburse the salon for two missed appointments. Let me say that again, she was four minutes away and they wanted $260.00 before they would deign to see her. This is ridiculous. The salon is not in LA or NY - not even DC. If they can get over themselves and correct their bad customer treatment I would go back. As it is, I'll miss Brittany's good cuts but I won't indulge that kind of bad behavior.
