Nike store was having a buy $100, get 15% off... and you'll also get an MVP card with your purchase of 100 or more ($25 off your next purchase of $50+) with that same purchase, so we bought a few things :-) Some of the stores, in my opinion, didn't have "Outlet" type prices.... These are your fairly typical outlet stores. Like any outlet mall, it's completely hit or miss depending on what they have and how you do that particular day. They had some stores that I like -- Polo, Nike and Banana Republic. No real high end outlet stores here like Burberry or anything like that. The Polo stores was actually one of the bigger ones I've ever visited. The one knock I have on this place is that the stores surround the parking lot so you have to walk the perimeter. No easy way to cut across, if that makes sense. For most of the outlets in NJ and NY I've been to, the parking lot surrounds the stores instead of the other way around. I actually think it makes for a more shopper friendly visit. Aside from a couple of stands, there wasn't really anywhere to eat. Many restaurants within a short drive, though. The other thing I found interesting/a little strange is that there is another outlet mall located pretty close to this one (Rockvale, I think). Anyways, it's a decent outlet mall. Your opinion will always be based on your own personal visit but this place had pretty much everything I would have expected. I'd have no problem returning on my next Lancaster visit. read more

I explored this little outlet center while in Strasburg for the weekend. There's not a lot to say, though, because it's really a pretty small shopping area. It came off as a decent local shopping center that carries a few basics and essentials. That said, this outlet has nothing travelers should feel required to explore - everything is easily recognizable as a national chain store you'll find in another outlet or mall five to ten miles down the road. Also, I experienced another problem here that I ran into in other Strasburg/Lancaster outlets: the parking lot was AWFUL in terms of how it was organized. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to drive out to the main road since I had arrived in the evening and by the time I began to leave, it was dark, it was pouring outside, and there were no clear signs telling me where the exit was. Ranger outlets offer a variety of stores. They have a lot of stores I like as far as timberland, gap, Movado, fossil, etc. it was a little difficult for my find some shoes at clarks, but she found some anyway. They actually had a 2 for twenty dollar sale going on. Great outlet for extraordinary discounts. read more

The area is very congested and pretty touristy. BUT there is a J Crew outlet and it gives 15% discounts if you have a college student ID. Yay! This means my lobster tshirt was almost 50% off that day. This strip of outlets, in my opinion, has better stores than the one up the street. I'd recommend printing a map from your computer, or picking one up at your hotel so you can make a game plan. I circled the worthwhile stores, found them on the map, and went straight to those. It made my time way more efficient and I wasn't tempted by silly things (like novelty spatulas). read more

The shopping selection is a great choice at Tanger Outlets, there is a mixture of selections for everyone in the family. It's even better when they events going on like the Tanger Taste and Style Experience. I started out by sharing pork bbq from Hess's Barbeque, then on to Auntie Anne's for a cinnamon pretzel, next was a chicken pita from Souvlaki Boys, then split some fries from Naters Taters, and finally some ice cream from Lickity Split. Trust me after all this I was stuffed (and that was splitting the food). If you did not get the chance to make it out this year I would suggest taking a trip out next time, from the events, shopping, and food there is something for everyone at the Tanger Taste and Style Experience. A nice outlet operation. Much of it is high end like most. We went to a number of shops but bought a leather handbag at Wilson's .....all leather...deep discount...good deal. Then to the Polo store...bought a sweater for Christmas. If my memory serves me correctly, there is a Hilfiger, Skechers, Coach, Timberland, it didn't have all the key brands, as some were further down the road a mile or so. But if you get what you want, it's a good place to shop! read more

there is many stores and lots of parking if you come on monday-thursday. if you come to the outlets on the weekend they are usually packed. friday-sunday it is hard to find parking. i took off a star/point due to not all the staff wearing mask properly and the high pricing. i went into h&m and was looking for a crop top. i found one i really liked but it was 55.00. if i went to the h&m very close to my house i could've gotten the same thing for 15.00-20.00. Pretty good brands and no clothing tax!

Samll compared to other outlet sites (Like the Crossings in the Poconos). Same overpriced items that visitors (from NY and NJ) and tourists think they are getting a bargain. Same old preppy stores. A nice walk but that's about it. No food except for the Wendy's at the entrance but there are a LOT of restaurants nearby. Very congested area. read more

Depending on when you go, this could be crazy packed with tourists from all over. But if you go at off peak hours it's usually not too hard to get around. There are some good deals to be found here. Check what shops they have here, and if they have some of your favorites then you really have no excuse for stopping by to save some cash. read more

This is my favorite place when it comes to brand and value.. I have been coming to this outlets since I was 23 driving from nyc.. Now that I live so close it never been better than to be a local and shop as a tourist.. Great place to shop. Most of the stores are real outlets but some aren't. Some are regular stores like Bath and Body. But this is a great place to shop when the tourists aren't in town. There's usually enough parking and prices are very good. read more

I honestly come here for the Coach Factory Outlet. As soon as you walk in an employee hands you a 50% card for your whole purchase for the day. I got a purse, wallet, and earrings all for under $200. The jewelry was an extra 25% off if you bought more than one item from the section. The staff is so helpful. We end up walking around all the stores but we come for Coach. read more

Nice outlet a variety of stores to shop at, the stores themselves have lots of great deals that made my 3 hour drive there from new york totally worth it. Was there yesterday. Worst customer service. Not only to me, but to others. I made up my mind yesterday to never purchase anything at the Lancaster Coach store. And became it is the closest store to me, they lost a couple thousand dollars a year, at least. Been here numerous times. Decent selection of stores to shop at. You can get a discount coupon book at the mall office (free if you are a Tanger member or if you get one of those coupons). Most of the stores in the book require a set amount spent to qualify for discount, so if you go there specifically to shop then it's a good deal. I have a Tanger out by me on LI that is bigger, layout is much better and more variety of places to eat. This outlet mall is okay for those people visiting and like to shop for a couple of hours. read more

I love the Tanger outlets. They have such great stores like Banana Republic, Nine West, Ann Taylor, etc. I can always find a good sale too. They also have a really good rewards program. It costs $10 to join, but I've gotten my money back several times now, between the free coupon books and gift card rewards. I would recommend the program to everyone. read more
