She explained it was a free haircut, and she needed a certain style done. I agreed to the hairstyle and told her I would be there at the agreed upon time of 11am. I showed up at 10:50 am and I was greeted by Jessicas Supervisor at the front desk. I told her I was there for the appointment, and she said, "Oh Jessica..... can you come back later?" I felt confused and explained to her that I had booked the appointment with Jessica, and this was my appointment time. She then proceeds to get up and walk around the counter and stands extremely close to me and starts to whisper, "I'm Jessicas supervisor and she is not ready yet. She's struggling and can't do the hair cut correctly." While that's completely understandable I then asked, "Why did no one properly communicate with me? I had hired a babysitter and took my time to drive out here." Did no one think to message me or give me a call and let me know the appointment time could not work out anymore? Jo said absolutely nothing and just stared at me and then finally goes, "Oh well I guess I can cut your hair then. Would you like that?" I ended up letting her know I was leaving while she took her time cleaning up a seat for me. I left because it was apparent my time was not valued there. On top of everything I didn't even receive an apology or any accountability that someone had messed up. I even had a $20 tip for her because I was so grateful to recieve a free haircut. I'm a stay at home mom and I don't really get to do anything for myself. How I was treated by Jo was completely unacceptable. I hope she takes the time to reflect back on this experience so she can make sure this doesn't happen again to another costumer.
