Tan is a fraud! She used a dirty brush that had red hair in it from a previous woman on me and put it back in the "clean" drawer after she dropped it. She ruined the hair so bad and still took our money leaving me with a mess to fix. Thankfully I have friends who helped make it right. DO NOT use Tan. I didn't realize that today was going to be my lucky day! I had seen the Tangles shop many times and decided to give a shot today...bad hair = feeling down. I called and they got me an appointment right away that was a huge plus. Went to my appointment and met Sandy! Yahoo! Not only was he welcoming, warm, and really took the time to consult with me. Shut the front door! Great guy but that wasn't all he is talented. FABULOUS! He gave me the BEST BEST BEST haircut ever! Exactly what I wanted...no better than what I wanted. I felt like a million bucks walking out of there! Way overdue! Going back for color in a few days...to feel like a trillion bucks for a reasonable cost and ever so worth every penny! Great, friendly place with affordable pricing. My mom brought in my 80 year old grandma for a long over due hair color here recently. A couple of hours before we received rude service from the salon down the street so we decided to call Tangles. They were able to take us right away on a Friday afternoon. My grandma was soooo happy with her new hair color. The hair stylist did an amazing job on her hair and It brought a huge smile to my grandma for the rest of the day. Thanks Tangles! read more

This shop is clean and friendly. Tan has been doing my hair for many years ( I give her 5 stars if I were just rating her skills as a stylist!) and she always makes me look and feel beautiful! She can do the same for you, too. She also takes walkins, but best to make an appt! Snowbirds who are visiting are often a big part of her clientele. Hard thing to do is go to a new area and new hairdresser. After having a bad haircut from Celebrity, I tried this shop (before they got closed again for COVID-19). Blanca did my hair from a picture I brought to give her an idea of shape and style since I was in such terrible shape. Unlike the other shop, Tangles is totally abiding by the rules the shops need to adhere to, to even be open because of the virus that I appreciated; e.g., masks. Tan is the best!!!! I been seeing Tan for about 4 years now and she is AWESOME!!!!!! I travel 45 minutes every 5 weeks to see her!!! She is very knowledgeable about all the new trends and her work is amazing!!!! I definitely recommend Tan to anyone that needs a great hair dresser!!!!! read more

I went and got my eyebrows and upper and lower eyeliner done by Tan. She was and is so rude and wouldn't let me explain what I wanted done and she kept telling me she knew what I wanted and she did a terrible job! I went for my touch up for everything because everything was already fading. Tan started with my eyebrows and her numbing cream was so awful and weak that I couldn't finish my eyeliner and I was afraid to go through that pain all over again. So after a couple days I called Tan and told her that my eyebrows are crooked and wasn't what I told u wanted and she proceeded to tell me that eyebrows are never even! I couldn't believe what I was hearing. She said u can come back in and I told her that her numbing cream didn't numb me at all and very painful . I've had this done numerous times and I've never had the pain I experienced like I had with her. I told her I would not go back to her and I told her she needs to stop yelling and listen to her customers. She said she wouldn't do that anymore. A little too late. I paid a lot of money and a good tip which she didn't deserve. I talked to the owner of the shop and she told me she didn't have anything to do with Tan's tattooing (which she is terrible at). So I was out a lot of money and couldn't get it done because it cost me a lot of money. I'm still really upset and having to live with a terrible tattooing job! Don't ever go to Tangles and get anything done by Tan because you will be sorry and out of a lot of money. The owner, Ophelia isn't any better. So my advice is don't take an expensive chance with these unprofessional women! read more
