8pm reservations for 4 on a Tuesday. Arrived 10 min early and it was full. Had a round of drinks in the separate bar, then seated. White table cloths, maitre d and bartender in coat n tie. Dress is upscale, I'm in black jeans plaid dress shirt. Nice view of the harbor; sailboats, ships and buildings on the other side.
Informed tonight is s 5 course fixed menu with lamb or fish as main. 750pp. Order more drinks and later a bottle of Italian red. One of us goes for the fish.
Amuse Bouche is raw shrimp, cheese and aioli rapped in mint leaves. Followed by a tiny cup of fish in buckwheat sauce. Then poached halibut with smoked cream mayo and red caviar. Yum! The lamb tenderloin and lamb belly came with cauliflower and was served with cabbage n root vegetables for the table.
Desert was rhubarb sorbet with fresh rhubarb over shaved ice.
