They were ready at my appt time. The quality of the mani/pedi was about average. Oddly I had different people for each service. They were both nice but it would help if they understood english a little better. The real downside was a lack of cleanliness. Really easy stuff like washing off the manicure tables. They were covered with nail dust and product spots. The tools looked like they were just washed and shoved back into dirty packages. The chairs have rips in the cushions. this is the first and last time I will go this place. to start off, the work area where I was sitting was sooo dirty. and then when the nail tech got a new closed pack of tools, he opened and dumped them on a tray full of OLD nail clippings that are not mine...I had to point it out to him so he can remove them and get new ones. I've never been more grossed out in my life. then I show him a picture of what I want (I am a bridesmaids for a friends wedding this weekend). the finished product looks nothing like what I wanted. so annoyed that I wasted my money here. read more

I don't have anything negative to say about this place. The reason for the 4 stars is because the interaction between the customer and the nail stylist is lacking. Most of the time there is no conversation and the few times I have tried to start a conversation, I am ignored - even when asking how they're doing. They do a good job with the nails and if you want nails that look good and don't mind sitting in silence for however long it takes, this is the place for you. read more

I have been to this salon twice. First for a pedicure that was very relaxing and well done. Tonight I went to get my nails done because my regular person got COVID. The man who did my nails was very kind and paid attention to detail. He was fine with me doing multiple colors even though it would take longer and still only charged me $35 for a fill. First time here. I called in because I could not find the place. Told me it would be a 15 minute wait for a full set and pedicure. I am so glad that I called ahead on a Saturday afternoon because they were short staffed and sending away customers. Walking in, the staff seemed friendly, had regular customers and spoke with them nicely. Obviously takes good care of them for them to keep returning. My nail techs name was Jason, the only American tech in there I believe. He was awesome! I was from out of town and so nervous that they would not be able to meet my expectations. Jason worked at a great pace and my acrylics, along with their shape, is one of the best I've had! I may start traveling just for him to do my nails! He also did my pedicure! Perfect!.. Overall it was a great experience. They just need to tidy up and clean a bit.. they have a great place and a nice area, just needs a clean for the 5 stars. Otherwise kudos to Jason! read more

I have been a regular customer for the last few years, (and I tip very well) but after my experience on a Sunday, I will not be back.....I called the day before asking for an appointment for a mani/pedi. The girl on the phone told me to come in at 1:15. I arrived at 1:10, and waited 30 minutes. A woman who arrived after I did without an appointment (she said that when she came in), was served before me. That is when I left. I understand they were busy, but they do not honor appointments. read more

I spent almost 2 hours here. I give it three stars because there wasn't much client interaction I came for a pedicure with my mother for a girls day! We got the polish because we don't see much of a point for gel. After about 20 minutes or so a guy (wasn't our techs) told us we could go ahead and put on our shoes. I was eager to leave although the store is nice. I put my sock on and my toes were in fact still wet and now I am writing this while here I do have to stay for more time. It was unfortunate. I'd give no stars if possible. Giving false info. Was told the tackiness I felt was because they were wet from water. Water is not sticky. Gel polish is if you don't wipe it off with a good solution. They also did a horrible job at removing the previous color. It was showing on the sides. Called the next day explaining the situation. I have been coming here for years and never had an issue. I moved to California a couple months ago and came down here to visit so I decided to come in and after coming in yesterday I realize that they hired new people. A lady who did my nails did a good job cutting and shaping until she asked someone else to polish my nails, I have never seen him worked there before so I'm sure he was new. As he was polishing I knew that it was not going to turn out good the way he was polishing and brushing my nails. He was rushing and not brushing my nails correctly. After he was done, he asked me if I liked them I said no. He told me that I wouldn't be able to get that color because it wouldn't stick. I have had this color before so I knew he didn't know what he was talking about. If you are going to hire someone, make sure they know what they're talking about. I didn't want to argue so I just paid but I would not return here again. read more

It was an affordable price of $25, however I would recommend you tip of course! I have been here one time before, and also remembered having a favorable experience getting my nails done. Lee gave me the best no-chip of my life! Literally no exaggeration here when I tell you how incredible my no-chip was. Lee was so so thorough in shaping the nail, clipping cuticles/skin and making sure there were no imperfections with the paint job. I randomly chose Tango after browsing yelp and am so happy I did. My no-chip lasted 6 WEEKS with zero imperfections, other than really unsightly outgrowth because I refused to have anyone other than Lee do my nails. I have been coming here since 2019-they never fail to give my nails exactly what they need. I usually do a dip manicure and a gel pedicure and all of my experiences have been great! The prices are reasonable and I can always get an appointment squeezed in, even if I call a day or two in advance. Additionally, they're great about emergencies too. I cracked a nail not 12 hours after I got it done and I went in the same day and they repaired it for free. Best bang for your buck in my opinion! read more

My first time here and I was amazed by how nice it was when I got there. I got a full set acrylic and I wanted "coffin" shaped nails, but got stilettos instead, which didn't bother me much because I thought they looked nice when they were done, although I feel like my cuticles weren't cleaned nicely and my real nails weren't covered completely. I got my nails done Wednesday this week, which would be the 25th of this month, and the following day before bed, I opened a bag of chips and my nail on my thumb broke off, so the next day, which would be Friday, I called and told them what had happened, and they said the guy who did my nails, would not be in and told me that he would be in the following day, in which I made an appointment for 1pm. Come Saturday, I woke up to a voicemail stating that the guy did show up and was sick and then was in the hospital. Confused as ever, they were speaking in their language and basically told me they were booked for the day and every nail tech there had appointments already made. Frustrated and still confused about what happened to the nail tech, I said ok, and told them I could go in the NEXT DAY in the morning. They said ok then asked if I could possibly go in LATER in the day, say about 5-closing, but I told them I was unable to due to an family event I had at 3:30. So my appointment will be at 11am tomorrow, SUNDAY and guess what? ANOTHER NAIL broke off WHILE I WAS WASHING MY HANDS. I am so pissed right now! And I tipped him pretty good! Ugh. I hope they do not charge me because I WILL cause a scene. I will keep you guys updated!! PS It is only day been day 3 going on 4 and my nails looks like I've had them for two weeks now! read more

I had been here in the past before the remodel and new name (now Tango). I wasn't a fan before and sadly my opinion hasn't changed. It was small and it was dirty. I had driven by and the sparkle of the chandeliers caught my eye and I noticed the new name and remodel so I decided to stop in for a mani pedi. The decor is absolutely beautiful. However, the upgrade won't make me a return costumer. The place was fairly empty and I received service right away. I was told to pick out my polish. While the selection seemed vast and the display was nice, I was highly disappointed in the selection. Most of it was cheap China Glaze colors, I saw maybe 3 bottles of OPI and there were a lot of duplicates. The pedicure was okay. The pushing of my cuticles hurt and she barely even did anything as they were still there when I left the salon. I HATE when places don't let your cuticles soften enough. Next was the manicure. I was astounded to find out towards the end of my mani that the person giving it to me was actually the owner. While she was really nice, her quality was beyond poor. As you can see in my picture, there were still cuticles, especially on my pinky and the the polish was terrible. She had commented that she didn't like the polish I chose because it was too "milky". Well if you don't like a polish....then why do you even offer it??? I should have complained but I wasn't in the mood. I left completely unhappy and went home and took off the polish and cleaned up my own cuticles and reshaped my nails. What a waste of money! I WILL NEVER BE BACK. read more

I have never given any business a negative review ever before. This was the most horrible pedicure experience I have ever had. The guy who did the pedicure smelled bad, and was obviously high. He grabbed his crotch and jumped up and down when he saw my young niece. He hurt me when he filed my toenails, and he kept trying to do my cuticles over and over. I'd tell him they were already done, he would say ok, and then keep trying to redo them. I had him stop doing the pedicure and still paid for it. My fiancé got both a manicure and a pedicure with designs on her nails that turned out excellent! Today it fell apart. The guy who did my nails I've never seen before. And he was ROUGH. like kept nicking my cuticles. And it hurt. He was wayyyyy too rough when he filed. Like burning. He was probably new, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Now... we're about 45 mins in. I don't know about you, but I like to relax when I get my nails done. AND IT WAS ABOUT 1:30 IN THE AFTERNOON. Should be a calm time, right?! Wrong. So the younger guy who's always there, he has to be in his 20's... was sitting over at the nail bar playing music videos on his phone. Not normal videos but gangster rap videos. SWEARING ALONG. DROPPING F BOMBS LEFT AND RIGHT. Then he starts pounding on top of the nail bar playing along to the beat. Now, we all have our favorite jam, but this went on the whole time I was there. Not only that, but he tried singing. High notes and everything. This isn't karaoke. It's 1:30 in the afternoon. I wasn't the only customer, their were ladies there getting there toes done. Between the hmong behind me pounding on the top of the bar, throwing f bombs left and right, and the guy doing my nails burning my fingers and clipping my cuticles, I had had enough. I asked him how much, threw down a 20, and got up and left. The young guy sees this, goes is everything alright, I said no, my nails aren't done but between you swearing and rapping and this guy burning my fingers I'm leaving.... Can't a girl just relax?! First visit today. I live really close and I had a nice experience from my greeting, to my manicure and my check out. Lee did my nails and he was very pleasant and knows what he's doing. When I paid at the end, I told him I'd see him in 2 weeks. I liked the cleanliness and ambiance of the salon as well. All the bells and whistles don't necessarily make for a pleasant experience, so I wasn't going to judge this place just because it looked nice. I went to tango with one of my friends on 8/31/19. We were in the salon for almost 3 hours and we were seated almost immediately after walking in. My friend got SNS dip powder, as did I. My friend was cut pretty deeply and her SNS manicure was lumpy and less than superb. I also had SNS dip manicure and asked my nail tech if he could do ombré french manicure, which he agreed that he could do. After an hour and a half of him trying to achieve the ombré french manicure, I realized he could not do it and asked if he would just simply switch it to solid white. It took another hour. My nails are thick, bumpy, and have hairs stuck in them. He did not even bother to clean off the sides and edges surrounding my nails. I was also cut on 3 of my cuticles. It is the worst manicure I have ever received. I am extremely disappointed. When checking out, they did not even offer me a discount when they were unable to achieve my request and left me walking out of their salon with terrible nails after 3 hours. After insisting I get some sort of discount for the trouble, I ended up paying $35 of the $40 it was supposed to be. In all honesty, I should not have paid at all. My daughter (16 yrs old) went to Tango Nails to get her ACRYLIC nails FILLED & specified ACRYLIC & the guy that filled her nails did gel & charged her $32! My daughters, myself & a friend went to Tango to get nails done, pedicures & eyebrow waxing which will no longer happen because of taking advantage of my daughter by overcharging her. Tango you've lost out on repeat customers due to overcharging my daughter especially when she called me & told me how much you charged her and went back in to talk to the guy while I was on the phone, the way you even spoke down to her was VERY disrespectful. This will be a HUGE loss for you Tango since my daughter is going to Prom & was going to have her girlfriends go with her to Tango to get their nails & eyebrows, not any more! read more

The man who did my pedicure took his time cutting my cuticles and getting all my calluses off my feet. I paid $45 for a gel pedi. It took about an hour. Customer service wasn't the greatest. If you're looking to go to a place where the people talk to you etc this is not the place since the staff is more interested in conversing with each other. For me, I wanted to be left alone so it worked out. If you just get a regular pedi the prices are actually very affordable $25-40 depending on what package you get. read more

I usually get my brows waxed here. They do a good job. So I thought I would get my nails done today. The guy tried to break off two of my acrylics. Then, he took so many tools to them. It looked like he did not know what he was doing. One finger does not match the others. The nails are horribly crooked. I came out, and one nail had a small chip in it! I had to file it down myself! The polish job was even worse! It looks like a 5 year old did my nails! I am so disappointed. read more

I found them on FB. I called the number listed to make an appointment. The lady that answered barely spoke English. So I didn't know if I made an appointment or not. I just showed up the next day with my friend. We got standard manicures. Her technician dropped the clean tools on the floor and was about to pick them up and use them. My friend politely suggested he get new tools because they fell on the floor. He gave her a look like she was crazy but used new tools. Her nails took over one hour to complete. That's long for a basic manicure. Her nails were smudged by the time we got to the car. My nails look like crap. He did not offer let me pay before he painted my nails which pissed me off. He did not cut off enough cuticle at all. Very lazy. So my nail polish looks crappy. There are lumps under the polish which us cuticle that was not trimmed. See pic. Also, no top coat. I WAS a customer of Tango for 2 years. Kevin would do my nails perfectly. I always went to him. Recently this past summer he did not do a good job, and when I confronted him about my nails, which I am paying for, he became combative and quite rude, causing me to leave abruptly and unfinished. I went back and spoke with the owner Kim & Huang. They apologized about the incident and I returned to have Long do my nails, then Kim. I was so disappointed in the quality of their work. I would always get the gel polish and I experienced chipping with in the first few days. Needless to say I will no longer visit this salon, you have been warned. And just a reminder, I would bring and pay for my Mother and my daughters. I was just blown away by the service I received from being such a long time customer. read more
