So I'm reading the other reviews here, and I'm just not sure we were at the same place? I did do a…read morelast-minute booking. Same day. And when I arrived, a sweet Asian woman came out of one of the rooms. It was a very strange arrangement in the entrance. It almost looks like at one time. It was the entryway of the home that it was in. Things that were weird? She asked me to pay upfront and wanted me to put the tip on there upfront. And I told her I would do the tip afterwards. She looks surprised. When she brought me to have the massage, she brought me downstairs into the basement. There was no light on the stairs, and when we got to the basement room, she had turned on a space heater so I could be worked on. Was it cold in there? Let's just say it wasn't warm. But it wasn't freezing either. I'm just thinking she really doesn't understand massage much. She did just a lot of hand rubbing like a person rubs your back when you're crying, you know? There was no needing of my muscles. And she did keep asking me if the pressure was OK. So I did appreciate that. It just was... Mid. There are too many other places to go that are much better than she. Maybe it was just her? I don't know. I just got a really weird vibe and honestly couldn't wait to get out of there. I wish I was wrong, but it is what it is.

I solemnly swear that every word in this unbelievable review is true. Dr. Zhang was NOT on Yelp, so…read moreI decided to remedy that. I am 70 years old. My wife, Stephanie dragged me to see Dr. Z. This was because our 92 year old friend, Al, looks and acts like he is in his 50s. His secret is Dr. Z. I told Stephanie, "I have tried acupuncture; it is OK, I'll probably feel a little better, but I can't afford it." When she said she'd pay, I was in. I have lots of health issues, but I told Dr. Zhang that my biggest issues were 10 years of chronic fatigue; and because I only take Wellbutrin (refusing SSRIs) 65 years of depression. At least that's what the therapists say. Now they think it is probably "General PTSD." After Dr. Z stuck a few needles in me, for the first time in my life, I felt energy flowing through me. I wanted to jump up and do something productive. Then I felt relaxed and fell asleep. When I awakened, I was no longer depressed at all and I felt less fatigue. The next morning I woke up feeling like I was 20 years younger, and happier than I had ever been. The second morning I was not quite so happy, and only 10 years younger, until time for that day's appointment. Since then I've had 2 more appointments (First appt. was on Th, then Sa, T and today, Th.) I have been incredibly happy for the last five days, with no fatigue anymore and accomplished lots of things that I had been procrastinating. Furthermore, I am not experiencing the sleep difficulties that I've had for the last 18 months. Yesterday I awakened at 4am feeling ready to go. Worked 16 hours straight then went to sleep at 8am. Slept all the way through until 4am. Now I am finishing up another 16 hours of accomplishments, minus the 30 minutes of being stuck by needles. I felt so good that I was able to get my old 1995 car started, bully it through Mass Inspection (2 months too late) and trade it for a 2005 truck that I had decided to buy months ago. I told my daughter Michele that I had never been happier in my life, and that if I was any happier, I would be manic. Her comment: Well Dad; you DID go out and buy a big truck!" lol Today, Dr. Z said for me to drop down to just 2 appointments per week. He says that eventually the body will "forget" how it used to misfunction and I will only need 1 appointment every 4-8 weeks. Depending upon genetics, most people take 4-6 visits are more to get my kind of results according to Dr. Z. He says 15% of people are genetically not suited for acupuncture and will never get results. I think that this will be Dr. Z's first Yelp review. I'm going to see if Stephanie will write one, and maybe Al's 88-year old wife, Norma, who also looks in her 50s. Maybe even Al! What a hoot if the four of us are his first four reviewers.
