    Chicken tenders

The atmosphere is cool and the service was good. Amazing selection of beers on tap! My chicken tenders were significantly over fried to the point that they were close to burnt. When I asked the server if they are normally that dark she said yes that they fry them harder than other places. That's unfortunate because with such a light beer battered coating they had the potential to be so tasty. No need to fry that hard, in my opinion. The inside of the chicken tenders were nice and juicy though. The loaded fries appetizer was really good but it was the size of a side of fries. For $9.99 it should have been twice the size of what it was. My husband got 10 wings and really enjoyed them. We'd come back, but I wouldn't get the chicken tenders again or the loaded fries since you don't get enough food for the price.

Living the vibe of this only late bar restaurant open Sunday evening.

Good vibe, but the service ruined it. The bar staff were terrible--long wait and no acknowledgment at all. Definitely won't be back.

Today I liked the service of my chef who covered for the waiter. Burger cooked nice and medium juicy. Also order"half n half" onion rings and fries. With unsweetened tea. The burger was nice except wish the bun was toasted as it was cold. The fries were nice hot crispy. However the onion rings were soggy and greasy today. Sigh. Wasn't busy either. Hmm. Total with $18 with tip $22. Nice try e server helped me out with getting cash. Yes- defiant still CAsH ONLY business. Sigh today.

Someone mentioned to me that The Sports Center here has fried chicken that tastes very close to Dairyland which has a distinctive taste. I visited and was a little disappointed that there's no fried chicken as stated however the burgers are just as amazing as Dairyland's in my hometown. If you want laidback, chill peaceful setting with great food, this place is it. My burger was not only huge but very tasty. The service was great and the server connected with everyone that walked through the door as if she knew them. I loved that part. I enjoyed my time there and will return.

Parking was its usual Broad Street challenge, yet once inside there was plenty of space and an easygoing rhythm to the dining room. The only real hiccup was the slightly counterintuitive flow of things, since you order first and then find a seat, and I wasn't the only one who walked in and paused awkwardly until someone pointed out the process. I've said for a while that you should stick to what a place is named for, because ordering chicken wings at a pizza shop or a barbecue joint has burned me more than once, but tonight I ignored that rule and it turned out to be the right call. Mrs. K took down my side of fries with enthusiasm while I focused on the wings, meaty and generously sauced, the kind you finish without a second thought and then sit back with a local beer feeling like you made exactly the right choice. Every single one was worth it, no regrets at all, a small delight tucked inside a busy Augusta evening. I did see two of those massively stacked burgers get delivered to another table and while I was a little jealous, I know that having it without the bun wouldn't have honored it the way it should be. Maybe when I'm not on keto. [Review 228 of 2026 - 928 in Georgia - 25417 overall]

It was refreshing to see a top notch staff! Their menu offered something for everyone which worked out great for us since daughter is vegetarian. The restaurant was super clean, modern, and roomy! We enjoyed sushi, tacos, nachos, shrimp and grits (not on the printed menu but still offered) non alcoholic beer for the Hubs and a nich Marlbourough (sp?) sauvignon blanc wine for the girls. We were delighted to find a place without a dress code to have an early dinner and there were plenty of tables and we didn't need a reservation! My favorite dish we tried was the tempura battered fried olives! Wow! These were great! Flavorful, not greasy, and just a fun take on delicious olives!!!! They came with a house made ranch dressing dip. They were out of bleu cheese which I love, and I do think the blue cheese would have been even better as an olive dip. Thanks, Sole for your innovative menu and wonderful service and lovely southern hospitality!

I had the chicken Florentine and it was just okay. The mashed potatoes were perfect! They started from scratch in my opinion but the cut of chicken was super thin for the amount of toppings. In the actual seating area, the tables are kinda close to each other. It was empty when I went around 330p on a Friday so it was fine. The beer selection is not too crazy but was fair enough. Bar looked pretty decent. Was not expecting to see a bottle of Blanton's. I ordered the Wing Basket. Honey Sriracha. It includes a 6pc + fries. The quality of the chicken was decent, above average. The sauces from what I heard and what I tasted today (also tried the Carolina Gold BBQ) are top-tier. They should absolutely NOT call these "JUMBO" wings bc they are a fairly standard size and typically when I see "jumbo" it deters me from ordering the wings. The fries are beer-battered, my personal favorite, and I enjoyed them thoroughly but MAN are they stingy with them. It was literally a handful of fries, if that. Potatoes are soooooo cheap. 6 wing basket is $14.99. A terrible value if we are being honest. I would pop in occasionally if I was in the area and wanted wings but I don't foresee me going out of my way to visit. Decent Happy Hours; M - F 3p-7p Saturday 12p - 7p Sunday 12p - 12a
