I would rank lower based on food taste but the customer service was stella here. The ambiance in door and outside was all a vibe. They have pool tables and karaoke. Full bar with some of your favorites. My burger was just a burger. Could have had added some salt. Idk its missing something. But everything was super reasonable in price. I had lunch a few days ago at the newly reopened Joe's Bar and Grill. It seemed like they are still shaking out a few bugs, but it was still a good experience. My hostess was also my server who is also the manager. The place is clean. No offending smells, bugs, or sticky table tops. Their menu is small. mostly burgers and sandwiches. I had the fried shrimp and fries. Everything was very good. Parking is tight, unless there is more parking I didn't see, in the back. I did notice a parking spot designated for the employee of the month, right near the door. I always see the same white pick up truck there. Humm wink wink, nod nod. I wonder what the manager drives. Overall it is a nice place to stop in for a quick meal. It isn't fancy dishes with big names. Just good food, friendly service, and no pretences. I'll be back. You should try it too. read more

Joe's is a regular stop for us. The burgers are always a hit, cooked just the way you like them. Wings are always good as well. The calamari here is the best kept secret in town. Lightly battered and perfectly fried each time we've ordered it. Salads are fresh and huge. There's a lot to choose from on their menu, I've tried most of it and haven't been disappointed yet. Well, I read the other reviews and my expectations weren't high. It's a good thing they weren't because I would have been seriously pissed off. The food was not good and the prices are seriously high for the poor quality food. Worst part? The service! Atrocious! I watched as several staff ran around like headless hens and accomplished absolutely nothing! Watching people who have no business in food service is painful! Do yourself a favor and skip this place so you won't suffer like I and so many others have. It's shameful because they have a captive audience of potential customers and can't figure out how to provide a fast served, reasonably priced lunch! read more

While staying in Aiken, we decided to go to a local bar we had passed coming into town. What a great find! The bar was huge. A bar in the front and one in the back with pool tables and a outside bar. They served food but we were there to have a couple of drinks before heading back to hotel. The bartenders were awesome and the drinks were cold! Ate there tonight and ordered the pork loin. I was told by the server it had just come off the grill and was extremely hot. At best it was room temperature. The twice baked potato was the worst thing I ever ate! Thankfully the server was AMAZING! She let us know she was going to cover the back bar for a few minutes. The other two servers were supposed to check on us to make sure we had tea(they never did). The food leaves a lot to be desired as does the music. Thank goodness we love the young red headed server! This place served me the best Philly Cheese Steak I have ever eaten. The fries were fresh and crispy. Also the Cole slaw was fresh and tasty. Second time I've been to Joe's for lunch. Both times the food and service was excellent. The last time six of us ordered five different entrees, ranging from a cheeseburger to grilled Mahdi-mahdi. All found their selections to be tasty and well prepared. From the looks of the exterior many would not enter but the interior has been very nicely, newly decorated as a sports bar setting. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Has a great varienty of premium beers plus pool tables in the back. Their menu board indicates Tuesday and Thursdays are dollar taco night and Wednesday night they have $ .45 wings. Also a different daily special each day of the week. Definitely will return!! ***Update!! Made plans for six couples to eat there on Thursday night for their $1 Taco special. However, found that they allow smoking after 2pm. This changed our plans because several members are either allergenic or prefer not to be around smoke. What a shame, because we were really looking forward to the tacos. This will also hurt their business in attracting more patrons where I reside. ***Update!. Finally returned since they changed their smoking policy to exclude smoking in the front dining area. Was able to go on Taco Tuesday, what a treat!. Two tacos for three dollars. I orders the soft, chicken tacos, which were huge and very tasty. A good deal. However, the service was very slow due to a lack of staff. Will go back again because the food was very good, and hopefully they will have resolved their staffing issue. Update-. Joe's has now changed it's smoking policy to No Smoking anytime in the front dining area. Tried Tuesday taco night special. Two tacos of your choice for $3.00. Staff is friendly and the food is decent....But overpriced for what you get. $6 for 4 mozzarella sticks and they give you a 10cent bag of lays potato chips as your standard side for a $9 meal. That's crazy. If it was fries I wouldn't have a problem. I probably won't be back. read more

Yes, it's a little pricey for where it is, in my opinion, but the food is solid. I've enjoyed everything I've ordered - Swiss burger, hot dog, fried mushrooms, a salad, different sandwiches. I'm addicted to the French fries. The chicken quesadillas are cheesy and meaty. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The exterior and even some of the customers (I think this place used to be a biker bar) can be a little off putting, but the interior is nicely done and I've only had good experiences. read more

My husband and I went midweek around 1:00pm and was surprised how good the fish and burger were. We were surprised ! Everything tasted fresh! I have tried this place several times over the past year and it always seems to miss the mark. The staff is friendly but it takes way too long to get your orders to the table.
