Dr. Jon Tanner is amazing. My husband's lower back was hurting so much to the point that he couldn't walk much. It took one session and my husband is brand new. I had a migraine yesterday and he did acupuncture and adjustments and stopped my migraine it was amazing. He's not just a great Dr. he's also a very genuine person. We highly recommend him. Just got results back from MRI as I injured my back and have been suffering with chronic low back pain. L5 S1 Slipped disc of 3mm. Today is day two of Non Surgical Decompression Therapy which has provided relief of my low back pain and am hoping for full recovery after many more treatments and doing some rehab to strengthen my core muscles. Dr. Glenn Tanner and his staff have been amazing and has a beautiful clinic. Jon is amazing. I am a personal trainer with scoliosis. Though I stay in pretty good shape, sometimes I need an adjustment. Jon is thorough, gentle, and very attentive to where my pained is caused from. I also have partial tears in both shoulders from overuse. Dr. Jon Tanner is as good for the soul and mind as he is for your body and bones. He is gentle and mindful during adjustments and relieved my pain in one session. There's no rushing through a session and herding you through like cattle. You can go see him for one issue and while there tell him you think you have a sinus issue or that your asthma has worsened because of the wildfires and he just smiles and says he can help with that too! And then he does help and he does that in the same session - he uses many different techniques. I waited to write this review until I had additional appointments - and sure enough - he is the real deal. Bottom line: He is a game changer. Stepping into Dr. Jon Tanner's office was like stepping back in time. He listens. He is patient. He is kind. He cares. Over the past 10 years I have seen him for maintenance visits and most recently when I suffered from a bulging disc injury. I always walk out of Dr. Tanner's office feeling better then when I entered. He has the best bed side manner I have ever experienced from a Doctor. I recommend him to all of my friends interested in chiropractic health and acupuncture. I cannot say enough positive things about this office. I started going here about 10 years ago when I moved to Arizona from California. When I moved here I asked everyone I met and had my previous chiropractor help me, find a chiropractor in Scottsdale. I knew there were a lot of different techniques out there to treat the back and wanted someone who used a similar technique that I had in California. I ended up getting even more than I asked for when I began seeing Dr. Glen Tanner. At his office, I worked with a personal trainer, a pilates instructor and received massages. After suffering years with back issues, in a relatively short time, I no longer have any back issues at all. I only see him for what I call a "tune up". Most importantly, he recently helped my 16 year old granddaughter. She injured her back 8 months ago. Before she saw Dr Glen Tanner, her parents took her to see who they thought were the best Drs. in the area. She went through months of physical therapy, saw a back specialist, saw 3 other reputable Chiropractors, got massages, tried acupuncture and had 2 spinal epidurals. Nothing helped her. After talking her parents into going to my chiropractor, who was closer to their house, Dr. Glen Tanner focused on getting this healthy, young girl out of pain and back to doing the activities she was doing. She had been suffering from sciatica and a bulging disc. and was living in constant pain hardly able to walk, sit or sleep. He felt the other drs. were missing something when they looked at her MRI and X-ray and discovered a different area he thought was the root to her problem. He then immediately went to work to fix it. Within a few weeks she is almost pain free and back to doing the things that she loves which involves gymnastics and dance. He is still working with her to prevent her problem from happening again but cannot thank him enough for what he has done. They both took time to listen to my history, and make recommendations for how to relieve some of my discomfort in my day to day life. John Tanner is the only chiropractor I would want to go to anymore. I've never been much for going but I started coming too see him after my husband was in an accident and started coming here. I was referred to Dr Tanner by a good friend as I had thrown my back out during the holidays. I was coming in from out of town and was in great pain. Dr Jon Tanner is the best!! At age 60, I've never been to a chiropractor until 2 years ago. In desperation, I phoned Tanner Chiropractic, and they saw me the same day. After 3 treatments, my back was great. Now, for the past two weeks the pain in my neck and shoulders won't go away. Again, they fit me in yesterday when I called. After the 2nd treatment today, I feel great!! Electro-stim, mechanical massage, heat, etc. They have it all. Courteous and professional too. I can't say enough. read more
