They are not liable for damages to your home, including wiring and plumbing. They use subcontractors. Our installer was awful and that's why we rejected the install and canceled the contract. He showed up 3 hours later than what he personally told us, he had old carpet and padding stacked on top of our new carpet (no protective barrier) and one of the carpets was incorrect. You have (3) days to electronically cancel your contract and a different date to mail your certified letter to cancel. We weren't willing to take the gamble after the first installer experience and so glad we read the cancelation policy. Good luck!

I spent a small fortune, over $8000. total on the flooring installed by Empire and then they try to stick me up for another $350. to repair their defective work. That is totally unacceptable and adding insult to injury. Don't walk away from Empire, RUN!!! and do not look back. I will never do business with Empire again and will be happy to tell everyone else I meet and know to avoid Empire at all cost.
