I have been going to Tao nails since June of 2019. After some bad experiences at other nail salons I decided to give Tao a try after reading some positive reviews. I have nothing bad to say about Tao nails, the staff are friendly and they offer a complimentary drink; soda or water. The salon is clean and my nail artist Don is AMAZING!!! I have been happy with my nails almost every time I have gotten them done at Tao Nails. The staff are very friendly and offer you a drink as soon as you come in. The environment is very clean and comfortable. It is also conveniently located right across from Sunridge mall. What impresses me the most is the quality of the supplies they use for nails. It's the first time where my nails are extremely durable, don't chip, and the nail colours do not fade whatsoever. I can go much longer than usual before requiring a fill. I got my nails done today for my bachelorette party. So I just needed a fill and a replacement on my right pinky because it had broke. Well throughout the whole appointment she never talked to me. And when we were done I looked at my nails and the nail she put on my right pinky is pointing up and you can see the gap where my actual nail is and where the fake one is. Also the paint job isn't great as well as the acrylic is uneven. So upset and it's 2 days before my party. read more

Not the most detailed nail salon. They are clean as far as filing is concerned and use a vacuum contraption through the process. Initially I was happy until I got home and had a closer look. The gel polish they did on me did not go right to the cuticle, it was a bit uneven and sadly the color did not last and it chipped because they didn't seal the edges. I won't be here again. I tried them because the price was right but the quality was not. read more

I have been here three times in total and the first two times I had a great experience with one of the nail techs but the last time was horrible. First off, I politely asked if they could do a chrome finish on my nails and they proceeded to tell me to pick something else because they did not have time for that even though I booked an appointment. Then I was passed off to another nail tech mid way through filing my nails who then nicked my thumb. I asked if she could not make my nails so thick with the gel and she proceeded to put four full layers of gel, disregarding anything I was saying. She got annoyed I asked for another coat of paint as the color was sloppy and see through. My nails were crooked and half way up my nail, not even close to my cuticle. When I went to go pay they wanted to charge me and extra five dollars for no reason. I really was disappointed with every aspect of my service and will not be returning back. read more

Ordinarily, I don't do the girly thing but I was overdue for a fill from the wedding season. Nikki was delightful! Her Station was well maintained, got a fill and manicure... is shaped it perfectly and with the color selection of my choice it was well priced well lit and most of all, clean! Worst service ever. Made an appt for 1 and they left me sitting with my feet in the water for an hour, til 2, before my pedicure was started. They used dollar store cheese graters on our feet and left my friends feet really rough. My cuticles on my fingernails look just as bad as when I walked in and the polish job looks worse than when I do it myself. Cleaned smudges on my toes with their fingernail. Never again!!! read more

So I would to start by saying, costumer service was excellent, we were greeted at the door with smiles, very polite , clear on what to do. I myself had Nikki said she's been doing nails for 13 years, was very nice and gentle, nails finished in under a hour, but the results were not great. My fake nails were lifted from my real nails (learning you can get an infection) . Cuticles weren't taken care of. My skin under my nails were covered in glue. Please save yourself the money, time and the energy and do not go here. My two sisters and I went to get our nails done; the staff was rude, did not listen to what we wanted, and our nails looked horrible and thick. When I told the lady my one nail looked off she denied it. The lady used a dirty towel under my hands and then to clean them as well. It was even grosser because the towel she was using was from another clients pedicure! DO NOT BY MISTAKE GO HERE. By the way the nails fell off so fast, and for one of my sisters the nails looked so bad she got them removed the next day. read more

Staff was very nice but did not talk to you while doing ur nails. Very neat and clean. This was my first time there and it wasn't the best experience my lady did not do the best job, I asked for shellac and my nails looked Matte at the ending and on some of my nails my lady did not paint it fully and some were outlined as well but then the manager did come and redo some nails Also my friends lady rushed on her nails for no reason there was no one waiting and did a very bad job. I am home now and it hasn't even been 2 hours since I've gotten them done and my nail is starting to chip. read more

I have been to many nail salons over the years and have always been disappointed, either the price is expensive and the nails are good or the price is great but the nails are not good but this place has definitely exceeded my expectations.
