I had to have a fractured abscessed back molar extracted. I was quite nervous as most people are but all the staff and Dr. Patel explained everything so well and were very kind. I opted for numbing and nitrous oxide. I probably would have been fine with just numbing but it kept me calm and i did not feel the numbing needles. It also comforted me to know that they use the newest procedures such as taking a small amount of my own blood, extracting the plasma and then inserted it in the empty socket to enhance healing and prevent dry socket. The procedure was performed at the Marlton office. The tooth came out quickly intact in just seconds. I highly recommend this practice. read more

I have never been to a dentist office that charged this amount of money with me having insurance as well as asking me to pay 50% prior to my appointment is ridiculous!!! I went to another professional dentist office which did an exceptional job (despite your office indicating "I hope they know what they're doing" as a scare tactic.) They did an exceptional job, and I only paid $110 out of pocket versus your office charging $570 for the same procedure???????? During the pandemic I have called to office for assistance with my extraction and get no call back. They'd aid they will handle emergencies during the pandemic and when you call and tell them it's an emergency they ignore it. They don't seem to care about their patients health. read more

Dr. Patel is great. Just had an extraction with her recently, she was very kind and helpful. Gave me a heads up about any discomfort or things that may concern me during/after the procedure, and did a great job in a short amount of time. Her staff handled all the paperwork on the backend and I was out of the office at a great price (far far less than expected, like hundreds less) in minutes. I feel the need to mention this as I see other reviews stating issues with the billing department. A few days later (honestly after some paranoid WebMD searches) I was concerned about the healing process and she returned my call within 5 minutes. (Even though it was after hours) She addressed my worries and even offered to have me back in for a quick look to ease my concerns if needed, even though all seemed well and I was healing just fine. Dr. Patel is extremely helpful and kind, and I would definitely recommend her practice. She has your back. read more

Dr. Patel was an excellent surgeon, however I must give a 1 star review due to the bait and switch tactics used by her billing department. BEWARE- what was sold to me as a $0 out of pocket procedure after insurance payments ended being $1,415 that I was billed by their office. My two children had wisdom teeth extracted in early January 2019. We had our initial consultation on 11-15-2018 and were provided an estimate by her staff, after they consulted with our insurance company, of $0 out of pocket. The surgery was scheduled for 1-4-2019 and just days before the surgery (and days after Christmas) I received a call from her office advising that their estimate had been revised to $1,156.00. While I was unhappy, the surgery had to be done so we went ahead with it and paid this $1,156.00 amount. 6 weeks later, I received another bill for $259.00 so I called the office and spoke with Kenya in billing. Kenya advised that this was a balance due from the 1-4-2019 surgery because of a balance that the insurance company did not pay. When I pressed her on why we are receiving a 2nd revision on the initial estimate, making this estimate/bill #3 for the same procedure, she became argumentative and kept saying that it was just an "estimate". I understand how estimates work, however why not do it right the first time? I have never had a provider deviate from their preliminary estimate and I NEVER would have chosen this practice had I known that they would continue to bill for additional funds after having received their estimate from our insurance company. read more

Have been going to Dr Patel for 8 years now, I refer her to all of my friends; just had an extraction yesterday. Her appointment wait times can be a bit long (4+ weeks) but she is worth it. We've had extractions other places where we had issues with my daughters extraction, Dr Patel fixed her up. Would not go anywhere else. BEST ORAL SURGEON IN THE AREA PERIOD! I don't have insurance and won't find someone cheaper. I'm shocked she doesn't have more reviews Will try to do a better review another day. read more

I had a great experience at Dr. Patel's office. Let's start with Melanie she made sure that my coverage was OK before coming in the building she worked with me for several days because I started a new job and my coverage was not coming over and she work day in and day out to make sure that it was right. When I got there the office was very clean neat and all the ladies were respectful. I had a nurse bring me back name Meeka Who was very professional sweet Consistent about her job and made you feel very comfortable while getting your x-ray. Dr. Patel was very professional very informative she took her time she did not try to rush you she explained to you from beginning to end what will happen what could happen it made you feel very comfortable was able to answer any question you had and again did not try to rush you. Back to the front desk Melanie and all the other girls who I apologize I don't remember your names were very professional helpful and I just had a wonderful experience there I will definitely tell People about Dr. Patel's office to get their work done their because it's a place where you want to feel comfortable and everyone is professional . Dr Patel is the BEST! She is a specialist who does extractions, implants and other specialized dental procedures. I have had a few extractions and an implant done by her. All of her work has been great--no pain from the extractions and the implant is perfect! I found her to be caring, honest and compassionate. In addition to providing great dental services I also consider her to be a consultant. I have been able to call or email her with dental questions or concerns and she always provides me with valuable information. If she were a general dentist I would immediately switch to her for my primary dental care. If you are looking for a top-notch caring professional, look no further than Dr. Patel. My husband was a patient with Dr Patel. He cracked his tooth and called the office to see if they could see him due to the pain he was in or at lease call in a prescription. He left 3 messages and I left one and not a phone call back from a receptionist or the doctor. Absolute worst customer service I have ever had in dealing with doctors. Dr. Patel is seriously the best doctor I've ever gone to. I was extremely nervous about getting my wisdom teeth out, and she made me feel a lot calmer than I normally would feel.
