Comfurt Gas Propane - Comfurt Gas Store Front

    Comfurt Gas Propane

I´ve been a Comfurt Gas Propane customer since June 2016. I live in a slightly remote area off of…read moreWeston Pass, with dirt roads that can be a bit challenging because of drifting snow in the winter. It amazes and pleases me that they always manage to track my usage and deliver propane in a timely fashion. I keep my roads clear of snow, but have many neighbors who aren´t here in the winter. I´ll see the driver walking through deep snow to check their tanks, and then when the roads are a bit better I´ll see him deliver as needed to them as well. That driver (and that truck) go through very challenging conditions. Summers, when usage is low, Comfurt will time a tank fill when the price is the lowest. That generally lasts me into December, when market prices are much higher. I recommend them without hesitation. Last year they added online access to billing and transaction history. Very convenient for payments.

We highly recommend that you look elsewhere for your propane gas needs based on our experience…read more Just like the three other one-star reviews here, Comfurt gas suddenly decided they did not like where our tank was located, and though this was their tank placed on the property 50 plus years ago owned by them! They claim that they don't have access to the tank, but we offered for them to access it through the back of our property with the permission of our neighbor in writing. On the positive, they have delivered gas regularly, but their customer service, especially the owner Randy, has been rude, obstinate, and frustrating! They are now telling us that we have to buy their propane tank that is 40 to 60 years old for a thousand to $3,000 and that they will no longer deliver gas to our home. This company is one of a few companies servicing our area and thinks they can operate with impunity without consequences, and remain in business. Here's hoping that this review will help others to avoid being in our situation.

We have leased their propane tank for over ten years and were always at their mercy to get a…read morerefill. This past month we were at the CO cabin where the propane tank is for ten days. I had called ahead and was promised delivery to refill the tank within a five-day window. They NEVER showed up. I called them several times during the window and was always told the delivery was scheduled and not to worry. The problem is when you call Amerigas you are talking to someone who lives in a foreign country. It use to be you could call the Delta Amerigas company directly. There is no way to do that now with their new system. Once we left after being at the cabin for ten days we called out of courtesy to cancel since our driveway gate would be locked until next year when we can get back to the cabin. When I complained online that their promised scheduled delivery never occurred, they had the audacity to say "delivery didn't occur because I canceled the order". We will look for another local propane delivery and tank service!

RIP OFF COMPANY aka Amerigas Propane Co…read more If you rent a tank from them, you are at their mercy for inflated prices, hidden fees and possible penalties for not buying "enough" propane! If you own your own tank and shop around, they fail to quote the "extra fees" on the phone and you will be billed more than you anticipated. TWO WEEKS AGO a woman employee from the Delta, CO Amerigas office had the nerve to call on the phone and ask if my tank was currently being filled by another company(it had been filled just five minutes earlier.) Then the woman on the line demanded to know how much that company was charging. I said that I did not need to give that information. I have two questions: Who was watching my house? and Since when is it any of their business who I choose to do business with? Isn't this supposed to be the free market at work here in America??? A week later I received a bill for $245.69 for services I did not request or receive. When called, the Delta, CO Amerigas person named Tina said ..."We will take care of this for you." There was no explanation for the invoice being sent to me until I asked for one.The invoice was for someone living on the other side of the state. She should have admitted the mistake immediately and APOLOGIZED for the error as is normally done by companies practicing good business policy. In my opinion the Amerigas Corporation is an example of what ails America. The Amerigas Corporation ranks right up there with the corrupt big banks and other Wall Street wolves who are only worried about their profit margins. Several of my neighbors and I miss our former local company, Hometown Propane that Amerigas "swallowed up" up a few years back. We appreciated Hometown's 10+ years of care and service. These days I hear nothing but complaints about the "crooks" at Amerigas. A new glimmer of hope has shown up recently. Some new propane companies have joined the playing field and increased the competition in Delta, CO. It's time for Amerigas get its act together. "Word of mouth" reputations are very important in small communities. And thanks to the internet, reviews by citizens throughout the nation are available within minutes. The reviews for Amerigas nationally are right in line with what I have experienced! Disgraceful! A long time local resident
