We travel through Grand Junction several times a year from our home in Denver and decided to give this park a try. We were going to be starting a 5 week vacation to California. The day before our planned arrival, my husband was admitted to the hospital for emergency open heart surgery. I understand that parks have cancellation policies but this park already had my money for the stay, they would not be losing revenue on the site. Their policy is to keep the one night's fee and charge an ADDITIONAL $30 for short notice cancellation. I was told that if I'd have given them more notice it would not have been charged. I called them an hour after my husband was admitted. An emergency can't be foreseen 48 hours before arrival. The staff was friendly by not very understanding of the situation. No other park we have ever stayed at has this policy. Usually a cancellation fee is deducted from the deposit and the balance is refunded. I am pursuing action through my credit card company, will never stay here in the future, and plan on leaving reviews on every website I can find. Every other park I had booked for this extended trip was understanding and compassionate about my husband's emergency surgery. read more

Just filled my propane tanks here. Friendly and helpful staff, both the man filling my tanks and the woman inside the office. Property was well maintained and clean. Also, the best price in Grand Junction area on propane that I've found. I will return here again. read more

Our family (2 fifth wheels + one RV) stayed July 12-14, 2024. We made prior reservations a week in advance and asked that we be located closely to each other. We were accommodated by a very friendly and efficient office staff who placed the fifth wheels adjacently and the RV was less than 30 yards away (it required a smaller site). The Park was well maintained and the rest rooms, including showers, were very clean. We will return when again in the area and needing such a facility. read more

I'm giving this a 2 star so that hopefully people read this. Terrible customer service when I called today to cancel. The lady told me she was gonna red flag me & not to ever come there. No problem, this place is surrounded by a sanitation center, a loves truck stop & industrial houses. Yuck! Not what I need for my week long vacation & meetup with my friend for her 50th. I was told when I reserved it that I could call back within 48 hrs to cancel with no problem. I googled it & the old website & number come up & was disconnected. So this chick said they are charging me $35 because I did not call back right away but I've been getting their wrong number that is on Yelp & google!! I finally got number from my friends that I was meeting, who are currently having a blast in gunnison with no cell phone service. Although pricey this RV park has all the amenities and cleanliness that one could ask for in Grand Junction Colorado. We arrived late but were able to easily secure a site due to the late night check-in system in place. I was deterred from staying here because of the reviews I saw on other apps. The RV park is under new management so perhaps a higher standard of customer service is in place. read more

TRAVELER BEWARE ! ! ! This park uses bait-and-switch practices. First, the pictures posted on Junction West Grand Junction's website are not representative of the park. This park is filled with permanent residents, skirted trailers, and lots of "stuff" clogging up sites and roads. Second, confirmations and guaranteed reservations mean nothing to Junction West. We had a 3-night, paid-in-full confirmed and guaranteed stay in a standard pull-through site for our 35' rig. Upon arrival we were directed to a small back-in site that did not allow parking for our truck and it would have been impossible to back the rig in due to all of the vehicles parked on the streets. Junction West was unable to honor our reservation without moving us at least once to different sites in our 3-night stay. This was unacceptable and forced us to go elsewhere. Junction West refused to fully refund us for their mistake. They did, however, refund 2 of the 3 nights and sent an altered confirmation back to us - BAIT-AND-SWITCH. The only bright spot in this interaction was the park we found as an alternative, Canyon West, was amazing. Canyon West RV Park is 10 times better FOR THE SAME PRICE as Junction WEST. read more

The site they provided me with had no hook ups on the wrong side of the fifth wheel. Spaces were tight and could find no trees all gravel noisy, and the management would not provide me with a refund when I found it to be unacceptable read more

This RV park gives you all you need in an economical park. It is quiet, clean and very well taken care of. I don't like paying for parks with added amenities that we would never use. We plan to stay here whenever we are in Grand Junction. read more

!!!DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT STAYING HERE!!!! Stayed with a group of people in one of the cabins which was booked through AirBnb. What a waste of company money for our work trip. The beds were littered with thick black dog hair. As a dog owner myself, I can let a loose strand or two fly. Not in this case, there was dog hair coating the two beds in the loft. I was willing to overlook the fact that we had to change our own sheets UNTIL... we opened the dishwasher. Just cracking the dishwasher, you could tell the dishes were dirty. It reeked of dirty dishes that have been probably sitting there for DAYS! The cabin felt like someone had been living there and just up and left in time for us to stay. The neighbors, as stated by many on here already, were incredibly rude to us and very nosey to what we were doing. They charged us a $55 fee for knocking over a 10 cent reflector while we were parking. By the way parking is horrible for the cabin. Don't even think about trying to park anything larger than a golf cart because anything bigger and you'll accrue a "Damage fee" for even touching the wooden curbs. I will do my best to make sure nobody else ever has to experience this "Dumpster Fire of Humanity." This location was a public health violation to the employees that I brought here and I have failed as a boss to look out for their safety by staying at this place. I now know my staffs health and wellness would have been better taken care of if we had slept on the floor of a gas station bathroom. Thanks for teaching me to read reviews and ONLY book hotels from now on! Won't be a lesson I forget. read more

We made our reservations well in advance of 8/16/20. They take our stay prepaid in full. We actually called several times in advance asking about the smoke conditions from the nearby fire. was repeatedly told, not an issue. Sure, until the day we came. It was very smoky and we simply couldn't deal with that. We had to make other arrangements. They only gave back a small refund of $25 kept $35. Not a fair situation in this case. The park was bare, basic, nothing fancy rock filled parking spaces. Was really pretty empty. After that treatment can't recommend or bother coming back. We ended up in Green River UT staying at the state park. Great find! Lots of space, shade trees and grass $35 Best part awesome state 9 hole golf course next door! read more

This is a very comfortable RV park. The staff is welcoming and laid back, which is a great way to be welcomed after a long drive. The bathrooms are clean and the showers have ample room and hot water. The resident cat adds a bit of charm if you're out and about in the morning. This has got to be the noisiest RV park in Colorado, motorcycles revving their engines at all hours of the day , lack of mufflers on many cars, dogs barking, truck engines everywhere, you can't get away from all the noise, it's horrible almost 24 hours a day! Please find another park if you enjoy peace and quiet because you will not get it here! read more

We stayed for an overnight on our road trip. We were very happy with the customer service, the RV host stayed late to guide us to our site. The site was clean, well spaced, and gravel leveled. The kids playground was clean and kids had fun stretching their legs. The dog runs were a great bonus, perfect for both little and big dogs. We will definitely come back. read more

Stayed for two months and the park doesn't offer anything for the monthly RV patrons. Our site didn't have cable along with several others within our immediate area. The Wi-Fi is extremely poor, they shouldn't advertise they have it available. Unhappy RV'er read more

Spacious, level, pebbled sites and wide access lanes. Clean and well laid out. Hookups safe and kept in good repair. Baths and showers clean. Pet friendly. WiFi signal coverage superior, with camp feed bandwidth surprisingly adequate for an RV park. Well-rounded camp store. Friendly staff. Wish I could have stayed longer. I been traveling for the past 2 years. This park is rated the highest but Im not sure why. Its next to an industrial park area. The truckers coming thru all hours of the night are not exactly quiet. In general the facilities are dated, but clean. They let people with multiple pets in, so I have 4 dogs (not kidding), next to me barking anytime I step outside. My rv site was littered with cigarette butts and trash. The weeds are out of control behind my site. The laundry room opens at 8am, too late for me. So yea, not seeing what others saw. read more

We really enjoyed this park. The staff was super friendly and attentive (and even brought us some amazing home grown tomatoes one day), and the facilities are clean and easy to access. We had a back-spot with a great patch of green grass. Stayed two nights. No complaints. read more

This park is located just off of I-70 in Grand Junction, CO. It has about 40 sites with full hook-up. We found it io be very clean. Has a great Laundry room which is open 24/7. The staff was very helpful and helped you into your space. They have two dog parks, one for large dogs and one for small dogs.They also have cable. There are tent sites. read more
