Mac and Cheese bites with a spicy mayo will forever be my fav This place was unassuming but wow! All the food we ate was sooo good! The staff were friendly and super accommodating (my friend is allergic to 90+ things) The Mac and cheese bites were obviously amazing, but so was the banh mi chicken sandwich! I didn't know what to think about banh mi at a brewery but I'm really glad we got it! It was so good and kinda spicy which was nice! The pepperoni flatbread was okay, not bad but not noteworthy!

We enjoyed the place a lot! Tacos and sides were on point. The venue was great. We ended up on the patio with the stunning view. The vibe was great. Service was exceptional. A bit pricey, but worth it.

My friends were trying to find every brewery in Gibsons so we came across Gibsons Tapworks. You order your food on the ground level and you can either stay there (that's cool) or go upstairs onto the beautiful patio overlooking the water (that's way better). The patio also has a giant connect four game, a pool table, loung chairs, and a fire place for the winter. I tried a few of their beers and settled on their kombucha. It had a light pink colour and with some fruity, sweet notes. It was really relaxing being on the patio and feeling the breeze and sun.

This really is more of a 3.5 rating. Friendly and cute brewery with several choices, and a lovely patio with views of the waterfront. I just wish they had a few more vegetarian snack options and beer listings! will be coming back

This business is owners operated with some amazing local staff members all of which are incredible people. Beautiful space and definitely a must stop spot when on the Coast. Might be hard to get a table cause the locals love this piece of home.

This is a great local brewery to stop in if you're in the area. We just came across it while walking through Gibson's Landing. I don't know what the upper levels of the restaurant/bar are like because we just went into the first level room/taproom, where you can buy flights of beer or take growlers to go. I was satisfied with the beer I tried. Out of the four I tried, I preferred the stout. We also tried the pretzel (w/mustard) & landjager sausage, which hit the spot. The sausage was fresh and the pretzel was perfectly baked. It's a brewery tasting room with the typical snack options but the environment is better than other rooms I've visited. It has a view and an in-house fireplace to make it cozy for those cold days. I recommend stopping in here.

Was around town and wanted to grab a beer and went to The Mad Hen. They were rude that we decided to leave and not spend there. Especially after having to deal with rudeness on my birthday weekend trip, I so needed a drink so we googled a brewery place and Tapworks pooped up. We didn't try the food although it smelled good. The staff there are very friendly and the crowd there are diverse in ethnicity and very friendly too. It's a dog friendly patio and they have one downstairs and one upstairs. You can also sit inside and have to order everything inside, but they bring it out to you. A few different item for food and some drinks that are not beer (still alcoholic beverages) and some that's non-alcoholic. I really liked their lager and IPA. Their slushie drink with rum, sparking wine, peach is smaller than I expected but delicious. Kombucha is fine but I've had better ones. It's a bit hidden if you don't see it through the houses in front but it's not hard to find. Accessible by bus, walking and some parking spaces right in front. Reasonable prices and chill place to grab a drink and relax or catch up with friends.

What a great deck and delish beer!!! Lots of fun things if your kids are with you too! Their menu is super tiny but gets the job done.

But don't sleep on Squamish's limited-but-delicious food scene. A solid place to start is Backcountry Brewing, a blink-and-you'll-miss-it bar and restaurant on the back side of the towns main shopping plaza. Since debuting in 2017, Backcountry has been a British Columbia beer darling; now, Backcountry prides itself on an ambitious lineup of limited-release beers. From the outside, the converted warehouse blends in with the rest of the industrial block. But inside, Backcountry is lively and inviting. The accents sport a tan and teal color palette. The bar to the right is decked with retro bulbs and a letterboard menu. Sound-dampening panels and camo-shaded lamps hang down from the soaring exposed HVAC. Each table is decked with a laminated BC map and mid-century modern chairs. Eighties tunes echo around the halls. My partner and I visited Backcountry after a full day of hiking, ready to chow down; we ordered a sandwich, a pizza, and a few flights. The Soprano -- Italian Sando was piled high with capicola, mortadella, and prosciutto cotto on a fluffy, poppyseed-laden foccacia. Our side of Five Guys-style, wedge-cut fries was rich and salty, and we loved each one of Backcountry's house-made sauces more than the last. The Meat Your Maker pizza was a deliciously nostalgic riff on the classic meat-lovers pizza. The thin crust stood up against the hefty helping of toppings, and the poofy cornicione paired perfectly with the exciting sauces. On the brewery side, the flights proved to be a fun deal. Across the beers, I was most impressed by the sours. Our collective favorite was the "Plan B? We Need A Plan C, D, E, We Need More Alphabets" (a basil-forward pineapple sour), while the "I'll Take You To the Candy Shop" (a peach-centric sour) and the "Might As Well Go For A Soda" (a gummy cola-esque cherry sour) were strong competitors. Meanwhile, the non-sour beers I tried were relative duds, including the "Never Taken A Shortcut Before?" oatmeal stout and the Sneaky Peach Cider. The service was friendly but somewhat inattentive throughout the meal, and the bill came to about $60 (after tax and tip). More than anything else, Backcountry satisfied -- it achieved the ideal brewery balance of fun, elevated, and casual. After our stay in Whistler, I admittedly had low expectations for Squamish, but Backcountry Brewing was a beyond-pleasant surprise, and I surely would visit again.

My first experience…read morewasn't great so my partner and I decided to give this place a second chance and hoped we'd be impressed as we have friends who really enjoy this restaurant. The first time we came they had just recently opened, we ordered and then didn't see our server for over an hour...we waited over 75 minutes for a pizza and at that time left feeling disappointed in the service and experience overall (it seemed they were prioritizing take out orders over dine-in, but without appetizers we felt it was way too long to wait for food, especially with kids. Their only offer of apology was one free pop. The pizza was good once it arrived!) After this second time, I wouldn't say our minds were changed...the place has a chaotic energy-the outside dining area is messy and appears to be used for storage. There's not a lot of seating inside, so we were sat at the bar, which wouldn't have been terrible except it's where the pay station is so people were constantly hovering over my space and breathing on my food. We ordered a pizza. Our server was nice, no complaints about him. Took almost an hour for the pizza to be served and when it was, it was missing an ingredient. Nothing was said until I inquired, and the answer from the owner was that it was too difficult to add said ingredient so they just decided not to include it...I get that sometimes an idea doesn't work but then why not take it off the menu? Or let people know when they order as it was the reason I chose that pizza. Our server took off $3 for the missing ingredient which I appreciated. I will say, the pizza otherwise was fantastic. Great flavour, quality ingredients so I will credit them there... Despite the great pizza, I couldn't help but notice the restaurant wasn't clean, we came half an hour after they had opened and the floor wasn't swept, service wear was stored on the floor, my chair was sticky and I saw a few things that probably violate some health codes. Overall, this place just doesn't do it for me and I won't go back. Great pizza but unfortunately not a great enough experience to justify the cost.

What I got was lukewarm when I got there and cold when I got home. I was on time picking it up so there was no excuse that it had been sitting there. I called to complain and was told I was wrong, it was made fresh. But they did replace the pizza with a hotter one. I've had this happen at Vancouver pizza parlours and was hoping the Bay would be different. I'm from Montreal and lived for decades in New York and still haven't found a pizza that compares with the pies I got there. The Bay is better than most in the Vancouver area but still disappointing. It tasted like cardboard the next day--a good pizza should still be a pleasure cold the next day. I find there is an epidemic of cafes and restaurant cutting costs by lowering quality. I don't see how they can expect repeat business serving lukewarm reheated pizza. The ambiance is great as is the music and the staff seem nice, other than being told I was wrong. I guess the customer is always wrong.
