Nice clean restaurant with a chill vibe! Wait staff were very polite and attentive. I ordered the Quesabirria tacos and requested a side of the dipping consommé . Taco tortilla was cooked to perfection and they were packed with an adequate amount of meat, cheese, cilantro, and onion. They brought out a huge amount of the consommé dipping broth plus charged me $2.50 for that. Personally, anytime someone orders Quesabirria tacos, I think it should automatically come with the dipping consommé rather than charge for a portion that is 10X the amount needed. I did appreciate that they served the consommé with a spoon as u love to open the taco and spoon the consommé inside of the taco before eating. Flavor was good and I didn't feel like the price for just one (or two in my case) was overpriced for the quality. I will certainly be back for these! The salsa they served with the chips does have a bit of a bite for house salsa so be aware of that! read more

I felt like the restaurant was pretty clean. The service was prompt and friendly. It's always nice that they follow up at the end of the meal to make sure everything went well! Decided to try this place again for lunch. We had Birria tacos, as well as as the Birria plate. Both were done well and I even added on some street tacos that were good as well. For the price of the Quesabirria platter, I felt like they should've given us three Quesabirria tacos instead of only two but they were good. read more

HuBe aware....chips and salsa do not include a free refill. The chips were good but nothing special. The salsa was FANTASTIC! Mild and thick with some veggie chunks and lots of flavor. Definitely mild. I'm a huge fan of Hibiscus water. I first had this in Guatemala and now order this anytime I find it. Their Hibiscus water lacked the pound of sugar most other Ohio restaurants use to sweeten the beverage. It was delicious! Hubs ordered the chicken quesadilla plate $10. The chicken was diced (cut very small) with onion and cheese. The meal was topped with lettuce and tomato. He'll add sour cream next time. His meal also included rice & beans. He ordered no arroz, mas refritos. (Lucky me). Cheese was sprinkled on the beans. The beans were slightly chunky and thick. Not creamy and smooth like other Mexican restaurants. Hubs was very happy with the chunky, thick beans. Add sour cream and his meal would have been perfect! I like quesoburria tacos. I'm trying to reduce my carb intake so I ordered the $13 plate with the fancy name in the photo. The beef was tender and well seasoned cooked in a chili sauce stopped with cilantro and onion. Tortilla were served on the side. Your choice of flour or corn. I intended to substitute a guacamole salad for the rice and beans but forgot. I tried the rice to be moist and flavorful. Then our waiter delivered ketchup and mustard bottles to our table explaining that the red bottle was hot and the green is mild. In reality the red bottle was liquid fire. Very runny and very hot. Not much flavor. The yellow bottle was Avacado sauce. Thick and creamy. It's Avacado blended with jalapeno. So there is a little kick but only after you've enjoyed the deliciousness! Avacado sauce is fantastic on grilled fish. Tonight I put a small amount in my rice. So good! We will 100% return! Our son has practice nearby. Service was fast and friendly. We were able to pop in, enjoy a great meal for a great price and get back in time to pick him up! Our 2 entrees and non alcoholic beverages came to $38 out the door including tax and tip. I've been there once. Great atmosphere for a repurposed fish and chips. Very friendly staff. Cons - beef fajitas, although well seasoned, contained too much gristle that was too difficult to chew. It's a shame because it tasted so good. I may be wrong but I may have had to pay for the chips and salsa. I may go back but would probably skip the steak fajitas. read more

My husband and I enjoy this restaurant, but we've had some frustrations. Their prices seem to change weekly, and with a slight language barrier (my husband speaks a little Spanish), it's never quite clear why. The tacos are $2 after 8pm on Saturday and Sunday, but last Saturday they were $3. When we inquired why, the cashier just shrugged. This was the second instance of different pricing with really no explanations. It kind of seems the price changes depending on which cashier you get. You also do not get salsa and chips with your carryout order and if you dine inside, they do charge for salsa/chips. Our last carryout order we got a slice of tiramisu. It was $8 and the absolute tiniest piece of dessert I've ever had. It also had a faint taste of onions - I assume it was stored in the fridge next to some onions. I took a few bites and threw the rest out. I've also had two instances of small pieces of bone in my chicken tacos. The last time it happened (the second time) I thought I chipped a piece of my tooth off. I luckily didn't, but it was so painful! All in all, their food is good, but because of the continuous issues we've had, I just don't think we will be back. read more

I've been to this restaurant probably around 6 times now, and the only problem i've had every time here was with the service. They seat you quickly but they take a long time to get your order to you and they almost always screw up my order. If I ask for something on the side or for them to leave something out of the food they rarely actually do it, therefor if you are allergic to something I would not recommend going here! Tried this place last night for the first time on my way home to Westerville after early voting. I did a search on yelp for Mexican. We lived in San Antonio for 3 1/2 years. And have been back in Cbus for seven years, and have still yet to find an awesome Mexican joint. So, I decided to try this one. So glad I did! We will definitely drive out of our way from Westerville to come here again. My husband who is a Mexican food snob, thinks this food is awesome. Outstanding authentic Mexican!! Yummo!! This is the best Mexican we've had in Cbus in a long while. And they have a Drive-Thru. A variety of sauces & salsas. We just had a little sampler to try out a couple things. We are usually skeptical of most Mexican restaurants because they turn out to be disappointing. This one was definitely a wonderful surprise. Totally worth the drive to Delaware. We tried the chicken quesadilla. There were a lot of ingredients, and a lot of flavor and so delicious. We had the queso, because my son is always wanting a real queso (which he didn't know authentic queso is white!). And this white queso was the best queso I've ever had since San Antonio queso. We tried three hard tacos of ground beef. My husband is the boring ground beef taco guy but he's very particular about his tacos and these were absolutely delicious. We also got the Crazy Fries! CRAZY GOOD! We are not fans of El Vaquero. We like Chile Verde! But this Taqueria Ay Caramba makes you say AY CARAMBA! Definitely worth a trip to Delaware! Although we have a LOT of Mexican places around the area, this is a strong new contender! Their menu is classic but with all sorts of options. Very flavorful meat (we had steak and Al pastor), and the beans were fantastic! Great texture and flavor. Service was pretty good, though it was a slower weekday evening. Margs were presented well, but seemed like they maybe used a subpar mix for them. My wife enjoyed her flavored one more than my classic lime. read more

I visited for lunch recently and haven't stopped thinking about the delicious meal that I had! I had the taco meal and chose a steak, chicken and carnitas taco. The meal was reasonably priced and all the tacos were tasty. The carnitas were my favorite and were so perfectly crispy. I was surprised by the refried beans that were clearly homemade and not soupy. We'd heard good things about this new restaurant, so we decided to check it out. The outside landscaping was nice. Inside was clean and it had very nicely crafted booths and tables. The decor was a mix of classy and what you'd see in typical Mexican restaurant. Plenty of seating. Large menu. We ordered tacos and enchiladas. Both were excellent! I'd say the best in town!! My husband asked for hot salsa and they brought what looked like ketchup and mustard bottles. They were actually bottles of smoky and hot salsa, to be mixed into the house salsa or added to your meal. Don't miss this if you dine in! Both were very good!! Staff were attentive and very nice. Food is not great or even good Mexican food. As a clasically trained Chef who has spent many years running fine dining restaurants in Phoenix and So-Cal I have to say it's very disappointing. The proteins for their tacos are literally like put in a food processor or blender and chopped into tiny pieces. If I wanted that texture to my tacos I would visit a nursing home. sauces are so hot you can't even taste the meats, maybe that's a good thing. just because your Mexican doesn't mean you know how to cook, even your own cuisine.
