My boyfriend and I moved to Delaware back in May 2021. Both of from California we were looking for authentic Mexican food. Las Miches, in our opinion, is by far the best Mexican food in Delaware. We've both enjoyed many meals from this cute restaurant. They have a salsa bar when we want to spice our food up a bit. And bring chips and salsa to the table. The service over the last few years has always been spot on. The owner, Diana, is usually there. She makes all her guests feel welcome to her place. The margaritas are great! And we've had many good items. My go to is the Birria plate. It's full of deliciousness! The carne asada plate is our other meal we most enjoy! We also stop in frequently on taco Tuesday for $2.00 tacos. We enjoyed supporting a Woman owned business and a local business as well. read more

I tend to be a little tough on Mexican restaurants because there are so many of them, and that are exactly the same... this is not the case at Las Miches Marisqueras. I really liked this place. The atmosphere is good - the service was OK. Wifie had a margarita that she loved, and she really liked the shrimp tacos. I had the chimichanga, which was delicious. The meal was affordable and a good value. They also have a salsa bar, which we did not use but looked good. They have a lot of frozen drink machines, so that could be worth visiting again in the future. read more

I was not feeling well and decided to get take out. I was so excited looking at the food pictures with my son and we decided on 3 chimichangas: chicken, beef, and steak; and churros for dessert. They didn't give option for chips so I told my husband to ask when he gets there. The girl tried to charge him $5 for chips! Most places throw those in for free....So he declined and just picked up chips from Meijers. When I opened up the box, a tear fell from my eye....it looked like a wet toilet paper roll! Only one box came with garnish. The rice had hard pieces and what little meat was chewy. The chicken chimi looked like a rice chimi! The presentation and taste was worse than what a 5 year old can make. And they forgot my churros, which would have saved the day!!! I called and they said Ubereats was going to refund but I'm still waiting for that. I think I will be ok if we never ate here again. With so many Mexican options around, I will stick with what I know is good: El Vaquero or Chuys. read more

Muy Bien! We stopped for lunch as we drove through Delaware and had a fun experience. This is a bar with mariachi music playing, and very personable staff. We had a house margarita, and then a burrito bowl, street tacos, rice and beans. We want to return when we are up this way! read more

We tried Las Miches for the 1st time for dinner this evening. The place is quaint with cute decor. We were seated immediately and there were chips and salsa on the table in less than 5 minutes. The chips were extraordinary - kind of thickish and super crunchy! The salsa was very good, just the right amount of spiciness. We ordered the bowls - I had the chicken bowl and my husband had the chorizo bowl. Both meals came within 10 minutes and were hot and so flavorful! Our water was refilled continually and were were asked if we needed anything. The service was prompt and polite. The food was a 10 out of 10! Amazing food! We also had the chocolate cake for desert and it was moist and chocolatey! All in all, were were very pleased and will be returning and taking friends and family with us! read more

First time trying( second time actually but the first time they had no chicken on a Saturday night so we left). The FOOD and the DRINKS. If you are looking for authentic and unique food this is the place. This small place is the perfect set up for safe social distancing. Not too large but very friendly accommodating. The margaritas were a special mix that was refreshing and does NOT take like a premixed drink. Our favorite's were the lime and jalapeño; the strawberry was a little sweet, but if I ordered it again I might ask for an extra shot. The chips and salsa say a lot about the restaurants quality. The chips were fresh and warm and that salsa is spicy and homemade; they also have a green mild salsa that is full of flavor. I ordered the Navajo taco and a jalapeño cheese tamale. The Navajo taco is like a Chalupa on steroids; so big, crispy and the meat is so full of flavor. The tamale is actually white corn masa and was light and a real treat! This place deserves 10 stars, we found our new spot!! Mike was our server/bartender and gave amazing service. I seen a post on fb today of their birria tacos and jumped in the car, I am so happy we did. From the outside it's not much and to be honest either was the inside but it was clean. I learned from another customer it used to be an Irish pub, he's been drinking there for 70 years, he even had a margarita named after him on the menu "Cashman". From another post I ordered a pineapple, orange guava margarita and was told they change it their flavors weekly so I went with a peach, strawberry and my husband had the Cashman both were so good!! I couldn't decide on one thing so I did a birria, street taco "pork" and a Navajo all were amazing but birria was my favorite. My husband got the wet burrito it was so big he couldn't eat it all and that is saying a lot, he said it was really really good. As you can see we really enjoyed this place and will be back Tuesday for taco Tuesday. False advertising. Do not order in or out. Quantity and quality equally disappointing. The menu on line does not crossfoot with the menu in the "establishment". I cannot stress enough how disappointing. As I am walking out the door another couple shared how their pitcher of margaritas was only two glasses worth and they over paid too. Left a lot to be desired. Kids wouldn't even eat the quesadilla lacking in flavor and falling apart. Guacamole was flavorless. Chimichangas were huge but mostly rice. This place is awesome! Ice cold beer, we had the Pollo Asada and the Carne Asada. The food was out of this world! The service was fantastic as well. This Mexican food stands up against any place we've been to in Southern California. Authentic Mexican cuisine so flavorful, tender steak seasoned perfectly and the chicken was seasoned on point! First of all, excellent service! So friendly and I think it gives you that mom and pop feel that some of the other larger Mexican restaurants in town lack. Feels like they are really glad you are there to eat. The wet burrito is really good, I think this is where they shine. Initially however because I heard they did Birria tacos. Unfortunately although they were alright, since they don't specialize in them, they were not as good as others in Columbus. Consomme was a little bland and the meat not as flavorful as the meat at Martha's fusion kitchen. The reason for the 3 stars instead of 4 quite honestly was although they have great wet burrito's and the service is great, last time I was in the chips were cooked in really old oil. Being in the restaurant business I know the taste of old oil when it needs to be changed. I can only hope this was a one time thing as it doesn't bode well for maybe what else is going on in the kitchen. read more

Tried this place on a whim via Grubhub. Ordered food for pickup and when we went in to pick up the order realized there was more to the place. Ended up grabbing a table and drinks. Not only did the staff offer to bring us plates etc., for our pick up order...since we changed our minds and decided to hang out there and eat it instead...but they offered to warm it up AND...instead ended up remaking the entire order FRESH. Did I mention this was close to closing time? It was fantastic. Great flavor...both the drinks and food. Reminded me of when I was out in Santa Fe. The vibe of the place is super cool and relaxed and the staff went above and beyond. Everyone has an off day but I don't get the whiny 1-star ratings. This place is awesome. Highly recommended. Since no one was sitting inside the restaurant, we thought we'd sit at the bar. That was a mistake, the drinks came really fast- lime margarita on the rocks and a frozen mango margarita. It took almost 20 minutes to place our order. The pork taco salad was not exactly what I'd expected. The pork was ground so it resembled hamburger but had very little flavor. The Birtia burrito, which my husband ordered was very tasty. They were busy and low on staff with the bartender also covering a table outside, as well as, the 4 sitting areas at the bar. I was VERY disappointed in this place. Drove by it on countless occasions and finally made time to try and got a watered down margaritas that had no alcohol in it. The salsa was bland and the queso was runny and bad flavored. El Vaquero in Delaware is BY FAR the best Mexican place in town. I am shocked they have 4 or 5 stars in reviews. I found Las Miches Marisqueras to be a quaint, warm and welcoming. There is a small parking lot adjacent to the resultant which is a welcome sight in Delaware. Service was quick and personable. We decided to stop in because we did not want to drive down to our usual taco place closer to Columbus and saw some good reviews for this restaurant. The place was busy and we were told to "sit where you want." We saw in the reviews that people said the service was excellent, but we sat at a table for 15 - 20 minutes and never had a server come take any drink or food order even after asking one of the staff members. Since my family was very hungry, I approached a staff member and asked to place a to-go order. The food was more expensive compared to other food locations with similar menus, and not up to the quality from some of our favorite taco locations. Where do I even start?? This is by far the best Mexican food I have had since leaving Las Vegas 10 years ago..
