    Birria Tacos
    Gloria L.

This place is absolutely delicious! We got the birria tacos (I got it without cilantro) and chicken quesadilla. I thought the birria meat is tender and the consommé was perfect for dipping. The guacamole honestly is nothing to write about, very mild flavor, but still appreciate that the quesadilla comes with it, along with sour cream, lettuce, and tomatoes.

    Chicken Quesadilla

Some of the best Tacos I have had in a long time in this small little town. The chicken and shrimp tacos were excellent, freshly made soft tacos with the perfect seasoning and chicken Quesadillas that were made nicely crispy, with guacamole. Decent ambiance with good service. We will surely stop by if we come back to the town or are passing through.

I could cry on how disappointed I am !!! Literally I raved about this place to my coworkers. They ordered and it was horrible now I am laughed at for my taste. I had coworkers order fish taco look like defrosted fish sticks no sauce two little lime and no flavor. One coworker referred to it as dog kibble on top of nachos. I could die Any who life will go on. You've been warned and hopefully your experience is better.

I suppose "rustic" would be a good term to describe the interior. The menu offers steaks at prices you'd have a difficult time finding elsewhere in the area, plus chicken, lamb, veal, and interesting specials. Our large group was seated over two tables, which worked well for us in terms of quality conversation among interested folks. Service was quick, friendly, and professional, and all our dinners came out at the same time. We ordered a few appetizers. They were good but a little inconsistent. The mozzarella sticks, homemade, were a little unconventional, with a panko-mozzarella crust. Better, in my opinion, were the buffalo chicken tenders. I mis-read the description of my Argentine Bowl, thinking it was more of a salad. It was steak tips, avocado, tomatoes, and black beans over rice, quite tasty. The person sitting next to me ordered a dinner special the lamb shank osso bucco. While the meat was delicious and tender, it could have had even more seasoning on it, and there was an unexpected amount of fat on the shank. Parking is a little awkward given the shape of the shopping center, and the location of the restaurant. It was nice to see signs designating spaces closest to the restaurant reserved for their customers. This restaurant was the go-to restaurant for the family hosting the dinner event. I can understand why, and I wholeheartedly agree.

No off cuts that would scare away those intimidated by some of the more rustic ingredients that are sometimes found in feijoada. There are beautiful ribs and delicious smokey flavor here and nothing to fear or peck at. The condiments. The chef from São Paulo has a real mastery of condiments. His salad dressing will literally turn you into a salad person even if you don't enjoy or typically opt for a salad. There is a little vinegar-based pepper condiment for the feijoada that perfectly balances the wieght of the dish. Don't sleep on any of the little liquids in plastic cups that are served to you. They are all gold. The few issues I've had are regarding communication to customers. I've driven to the restaurant during normal business hours THREE times in a row to find them closed. On two occasions they closed early because it was a slow day. This is especially odd because their hours are lunch-focused as opposed to dinner focused. This is common in Brazil but I feel a little out of place in the U.S. Being closed for dinner is not great, in my personal opinion. Another time they were closed for participating in a culture festival, which is wonderful, but when I called before coming there was no automated message or any type of communication at all informing me that they wouldn't be open that day. It was irritating. Despite the above, when you can make it in, call to make sure they are actually there, and your visit will be well worth it. They are a tiny, family-run kitchen, and I'm ok overlooking to bumps in the road for superb food and very nice people.

Very clean space and fresh ingredients, I mean you can tell. The chef is super friendly and interact with customers frequently, I say that because every time I come here I see him talking with them. I think it's worth mentioning because I don't see a lot of that around, most places they're in the hurry and don't really give customers that special treatment. Its family owned and family oriented.

The salmon seared entrée salad includes avocados, mango, cherry tomatoes with champagne vinaigrette dressing. You may need to ask for additional dressing as you don't get much.
