I just went there for the first time today, and this is the best Mexican food I have ever had! The mom makes it fresh every morning, it is so wonderfully authentic! I had the enchiladas, and you could taste how fresh the tortillas were. Now I want to try everything on the menu. The family is just as sweet as can be. I brought my doggies with me in my car, and the mom whipped up a little treat for each of them! This is going to be my new go-to place for mexican food! They have a couple of outdoor tables, and they also have a shed that is beautiful for sitting inside. read more

We drive 20m to get tacos and enchiladas from this food truck. It's our favorite place in the Snohomish/Everett area. Small unassuming little taco truck next to the highway. Really friendly staff, who always add a cute little plate for our dog with a taco and dog bone on it. Delicious food that is flavorful and authentic. I ordered six tacos and a torta with two drinks. The taco shells were undercooked, the beef and onions were not seasoned at all. The ingredients were of decent quality. Overall, worse mexican-style tacos I have eaten so far, and I have eaten at three dozen places throughout the state. Though, it is eatable; bring your own seaoning. The torta with a little better, but still underseasoned. All for $30, which is $4-6 over the average price for a similar order in the state. Overpriced, underseasoned, not worth it. Just stopped by to meet with a client, and decided to pick up dinner since I was already there. Ordered the birria mulitas, steak quesadilla, and carnitas tacos. The real judge is my wife. Everything was absolutely delicious. I was incredibly please with the mulitas and tacos. My wife had the quesadilla and she loved it. We eat at many different mexican food establishments, and some we return, some we don't. We will definitely be returning to Dona Mari. Friendly service too. read more

Continuing on the Tuesday Tamale Tour... Tried a pork tamale and a raja (mozzarella cheese and jalapeño.) 2.50/each As per the rules (made up by yours truly,) one tamale was pork. One can be anything. In order to compare fairly, only the pork tamales are rated. Pork Tamale-3.3/4 Appearance-4/4. Nice and big, neatly and attractively tied. Corn husk had a pretty orange tint, hinting at the good flavor inside! Masa-3/4. Nice and moist, a little bland. Pretty reddish color. Filling- 3/4. Pork was in chunks with pretty good flavor. There were also pieces of carrot in there. I liked the carrot, but overall it was kind of a pork-stew-tamale vibe. Raja- very good. Lots of melted cheese and what appeared to be a whole fresh jalapeno. A little spicy for me but I have fairly low spice tolerance. read more

Been coming here for years and am never disappointed. Love the fast service, the authentic tastes, and the ability to customize. They have a sort of semi-heated shack next to the truck for colder winter months, but the summer is when this place shines! Taco truck at the tip of Everett; north end of Broadway, right before you get to HWY 529 bridge. I stopped here for lunch today. It wasn't busy at all. Had my meal in about 4 to 6 minutes. The young man taking my order was very nice and upbeat. The truck itself looked very clean inside and out. They have a covered picnic area with a couple of tables and chairs. I ordered the enchiladas. What I received did not at all look like the picture they have displayed on the truck. The picture shows a deep red sauced enchilada served with rice, avocado and carrots. What I got was 4 mini enchiladas, with no enchilada sauce at all, covered with lots of lettuce, onion, tomato, crumbled Mexican cheese and sour cream. It should have been called an enchilada salad. It was served with sticky refried beans and rice. I noticed signs state that they do accept credit cards. The price displayed is what you pay.; tax included. They are open Monday thru Saturday 10:30AM until around 8:30PM. read more

If you want something pretty good and even CHEAPER. go to TacoBook on broadway, it's near a laundry mat, and try their tacos and tortas. It's only a few more blocks. Hit this place (the taco truck) up the other day while working in Everett after noticing it on a few pass-throughs. People working there were friendly and nice, taking cash only from what I could see. There is a cute little shaded dining shelter adjacent if you're too hungry to wait to get back to work to eat! Oh, and the good being cooked smelled DELICIOUS! So I tried the mulitas with carne asada and carnitas - grilled with jack cheese, and served with slices of avocado, tomato, lettuce and lime slices - the bread was fresh and delicious, both meats flavorful and yummy! Also tried a carne asada sope - while I'm not a big fan of crema, it was delicious - fresh sope bread, meats and cheese. I was craving that place today, but settled on Dos Reales (that was a mistake!). Totally recommend for your next taco truck adventure! read more

And then this happens) I found a piece of pea gravel in my food, I thought I would take it back to them to get a full refund and maybe tell me they are sorry. I got a $3 refund for an 11 dollar order and told that it could have been hiding in a bean..... It was too big to be hiding in a bean. The rock was 5/16 in size. The guy was nice but when I talked to the female she was stone faced. I left feeling like they wouldn't care if I broke my tooth off.
