The chips came out right away, the salsa was spicy, there was chile habanero hot sauce on the table, and my waitress spoke to me entirely in Spanish. I think I'm in love. I drove past this place in lieu of the more yelp rated taqueria jalisco (NOT just passing thru town) but after seeing the parking lot twice as full I turned around and came back. First time here. Had to add into Yelp. Seated myself. Waitress knew nothing about the menu. Hovered over me and I felt rushed to order even though they were not real busy. Ordered beef fajitas $10.99 with one crispy beef taco. Chips were very thin, salsa seemed homemade. Beef taco had a very good flavor and arrived quickly. The best thing I ate as it turned out. They usually give you a choice of corn or flour tortillas, not here or she did not ask. She brought flour and so I did not eat them. Waitress seemed unfriendly and burned out. Fajitas tasted overly salted and a bit tough. Before I left some locals recommended one of the specials I did not see. Had 4 different meats with rice and beans and free tea for less than what I paid. They said the eat here often so maybe I will try it again some time. Perhaps the waitresses should have mentioned the specials?! I feel there are better places in town to get Mexican food so I will possibly give them another try sometime in the future. read more

My family and I have been eating at the leopard location for years even as it has changed names. Three times recently they have left stuff out of our order. My wife called the second time and they flat out called her a liar. Yesterday left another taco out called them and told them with all that's happening you would think they paid more attention and she did not agree. Said I should be more understanding. I had crazy problems trying to order a simple plate of food. The waitress didn't understand me I was trying hard just to order but it was a hard situation to a simple outcome. Plus I found a wire in my beans. Really a disturbing place. The management seems simple minded and the staff mindset makes him look brilliant. The food was adequate until late I found a wire in it. I live in Robstown and travel out of town and over seas quite a bit. When I come back home Taqueria Guadalajara is first on my list. You can't beat their breakfast tacos with their homemade tortillas. Any combination is good but they do have the best chorizo and egg in the area. Their lemonade is a must. For lunch their taquitos Mexicanos are my favorite. You have the option of different types of meat on the taquitos but I prefer "Carne asada" add some avacado. If you want authentic Mexican American food El Centenario is your place. The tripa (extra crispy) tacos are amazing and you cant beat the refried beans. The chalupas and crispy tacos are always crunchy and not soggy. This is my go to when in Robstown. read more

We were coming back from SPI, tired and hungover and sunburnt...and this place managed to make us feel a little better! We are from San Antonio, so we can be tough critics on Mexican food. I ordered the Texas Plate and the carne guisada was delicious! Flavorful, not chewy. My boyfriend had the Mexican plate and it was on point too. The servers work together as a team to provide excellent, efficient service. Everyone was polite and seemed genuinely interested in the guest experience. Awesome food, awesome service! read more

I don't know why there are bad reviews but my experience was great. It is becoming harder these days to find authentic Mexican food. I had the menudo and tripa which were both really good. I would recommend the menudo for it's authentic taste. The tripa was okay. The tortillas are very fresh. read more

Today was the absolute last time I gave my time and money to this place. It never fails that every time I order "To Go" orders they forget something and I have to spend more time and gas to go all the way back for their mistake. Today I called and told them they had forgotten 2 things this girl who spoke very good English starts yelling and got an attitude. She said they ran out and didn't have my phone number to call me back at. I told her they should have told me when I got there and she said it was my responsibility to check my order. I told her she should've asked for my number or notified me at pick up that they ran out of food once again so I could've ordered something else. I can get over forgetting something like I have always before but I will not get over an employee yelling and telling me I should do what they're job requires.
