Just went to drive thru for treats in a nice day. We ordered unicorn float and was told no unicorn ice cream. So we ordered 2 shark attacks 7$ each a mango delight which they got wrong and gave us a tropical delight 8$ (shaved ice mango flavor, no ice cream) and an elote bowl 8$. For a grand total of .... My card was charged $37.03?!!!! I was way over charged and they didn't even get my order right. Yes my kids ate it they are kids and love treats. Ordered delivery and was disappointed. Other than the elote, the items we got were not as advertised/expected. The nacho chips were stale, the funnel cake fries only had powdered sugar and were missing the other toppings (strawberries, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, etc.) , and the piña colada had frozen pineapple pieces instead of fresh pineapple. I showed them 3 pictures of things they have posted to their own social media and no one in the shack knew wtf I was asking for. So I had to change what I wanted 3 times. Okay. whatever. But if y'all can't make what you advertise or don't even know what you have advertised, take it off your social medias. Or at least make it known they're no longer available!! So then I just asked for a CHAMOY apple with gummy bears on top like in the picture they had on their Instagram. My husband and I saw this place featured on the San Antonio News via Facebook post, and we had to make this a destination on our way to Texas! My husband is from Converse and it makes him happy that his hometown is on the come up with more small businesses! We tried the Unicorn Elote, Brisket Nachos, and Fruity Pebbles Milkshake. Was so excited to finally try this place out, but it was a huge letdown! I was so excited to get my elote fix, but the girl told us they just put new corn in and it was still cold. She said I could get it cold, but um no (yuck). I settled for brisket nachos and also got a fruity pebble shake. The shake was just ok. A basic vanilla shake with fruity pebbles mixed in; something that could probably be made at home for less than a buck. The nachos were pretty disgusting. The meat was cut into thin strips resembling fajitas; I definitely don't think it was brisket! The meat was extremely tough and full of fat. My husband said it tasted like a pre-made cut of meat from HEB that was heated in a microwave. They also did not include any jalapeños on the nachos. The chips and cheese were fine, but definitely not worth $8. I wish I had taken pictures, but honestly neither of my items were worth the 2 seconds it would've taken for me to snap and post a pic. I went there the first time and got the mangonada and it was great, then I went back another day for another mangonada and they gave me a different size cup and was missing the toppings and I asked why it was different and they said it wasn't. I went another time for another mangonada and they gave me a bigger size and had the toppings but.. BUT!!!! ... they put coconut ice cream at the bottom and I didn't notice because it was camouflaged by all the chili. It was gross and I couldn't go back to tell them. Point being, I am disappointed on how they treat their customers and it's sad because it's a good business idea but yet Its overpriced and I get a different result for the same mangonada I order. This was a nice little place in the middle of nowhere, I was pleasantly surprised. I got the hot Cheetos elote and the Frito pie (original). They both weren't anything special. The Frito pie was good it hit the spot but again nothing incredible. The hot Cheetos elote was a little dissapointing. It tasted like corn just rolled in hot Cheetos and drizzled with sour cream. There wasn't any cotija cheese or Mayo, so to me it was more like hot Cheetos corn not traditional elote. The staff was really nice though and very very fast! Next time I think I'll try the milkshakes which looked amazing and the corn in a cup. read more

Loved this place!!! Wish it was closer to my side of town! Brought family from out of town and they really enjoyed it as well. Had great service from Jose, he hooked it up and made our treats top notch. The owner (Lorissa) was super sweet and humble as well. Altogether we got a Takis Elote, Unicorn Elotes, brisket nachos, and a bunch of mangodillys. -Loved the Takis Elote!! It was super tasty. Don't forget to add some lime!! -The Unicorn Elote was good (and very instagram worthy) but lots of Crema was added so I recommend adding tons of Tajin for more flavor. -The brisket nachos were really good and filling. And the Mangodillys were Amazing!!! Kept ordering more bc they were so good. Small little purple shack in a parking lot located in Converse, it's hard to miss! They have a drive thru if you're in a rush and 2 picnic tables if you want to stay and chill. In my opinion they're off to a great start and I imagine they'll only get better from here on out! Visited twice to make sure I was fair... it's underwhelming at best. First visit I ordered the unicorn elote, a frito pie, a mangonada, and raspa for my daughter. Unicorn elote was very dry from the dyed cheese, didn't have any flavor and the corn was filled with silk. Frito pie was one that you'd find at a high school football game with canned cheese and chili. The mangonada had zero flavor, literally just tasted like plain shaved ice with a few chunks of mango on the top. Second visit we ordered the brisket frito pie (because maybe this will make it better?) and the brisket was dry and flavorless. Decided to try corn in a cup this time thinking the colored cheese was the culprit of the elote last time.... but I was wrong. The corn in a cup isn't fresh corn like you'd think since they have fresh corn on a stick. Instead it's sweet canned corn with butter, and mayo. That's it! No cheese, no lime, no chili, no flavor. This place is sooo good! I got the hot Cheeto fried pickles and now I don't think I can eat regular fried pickles they were that good! I also got strawberries and cream wow was that good. My husband got the Brisket tater tot's I tried and them and let just say next time I go there that's what I will be getting for sure.
