Barbacoa tacos. Only got through half before I had to review.

The service was great. Greeted immediately and order was ready within minutes. I had the barbacoa tacos and a ground beef gordita. The barbacoa meat was extremely too salty. The gordita was perfect. Very affordable.

It's not much to look at tucked away in a small obscure strip mall. Resteraunt Makeover would have a field day here, but the foods important. Menu is not overly complicated and food is made fresh and hot as you'd like it. Service is a tad bit slow but expect that during the lunch rush and beyond.

Steak and shredded chicken chimichanga with white queso. Score: 9 out of 10

We took a wrong exit and ended up at this restaurant for lunch. There were several locals so we thought it would be a safe bet. We ordered a variety of traditional tacos, a chimichanga smothered in white queso, and a ceviche tostada. Although it wasn't what I intended to order, the chimichanga tasted great. I asked for beef and cheese and made the mistake of assuming it would be ground beef. What came out was half steak and half shredded chicken. I have no idea how chicken was part the equation. Either way, it was good and very filling, and I could only eat half. Of all the tacos we ordered, only the shrimp was enjoyable/edible. The pork ones had a sour/gamey taste so I think the meat was starting to turn. The steak ones were dry and flavorless. We also found a hair in the salsa, parts of a plastic bag in one of the tacos, and never got the reorder of chips we requested. Perhaps we just caught them on an off day...?

This is like many other local non-franchise Mexican eateries. The food is large portioned and was cooked correctly and taste good. Adding sour cream and guacamole is an upcharge. And if you get the order to go they do not give you any chips or salsa. You only get those for free if you dine in. Which during covid-19 the dining room is mostly closed. So that was disappointing they wouldn't give me any chips or salsa without paying extra. I think my burrito was about $16 which I thought was pretty expensive. But since the food is good and sometimes the vendors are charging more which ups the price they have to charge at the restaurants, so it was understandable. I will be back here for the food.

The ambience isn't much but you can dine here. The food is good, authentic Mexican. You can get beer here and Mexican sodas but it's a negative on margaritas. I came between 8p and 9p. They weren't allowing dine in because they close at 9p. I ordered a Chimichanga and a chicken taco. Both were good. The Chimi was huge! It came with sour cream and tomatoes and jalapeños on the side. My order came out fast. The girl who took my order was very pleasant. I will definitely patron again.

Ok so this spot is reminiscent of my favorite Mexican restaurant in Chicago. If you didn't know, Chicago is iconic for its variety of food and mexican food is second to our pizza. So, when I when I stumbled upon this place I was so excited to try it. The staff was very polite & attentive, and the food is gooood! Will def be coming back (always get corn tortillas!)

I was apprehensive at first to order food delivery. But Wow! I ordered via Grub Hub and my food arrived ahead of time, and piping hot! Everything was packed nicely in aluminum foil and take out cartons...added napkins, forks and lots of salsa. Thank you very much for everything, all was packed very neatly! Food was delicious as always! This isn't my first time enjoying Mexican food here lol and this is the only Mexican restaurant nearby that has chicharron tacos! Everything was so delicious!

Tortas with chips and salsa. I took the top bun off to expose the yummy goodness inside.

Good food, I had the grande burrito. You have to order with the red rojo sauce. Also enjoyed the freshly served chips and salsa.

If we really do eat…read morewith our eyes first, the appetizers start at the curb (and continue in the entry hall-stop and check out the wall art on the way). Truly-it's a feast for the senses-all the colorful lamps, the background music, the accent lighting and wall quotes, even the menus: super colorful and stylish. I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30, for a late lunch after morning errands. I was hoping to find a new hangout for Saturday nights with friends. This place is large-so many booths and tables-and a separate bar area with tall stools. It's somewhat dim inside, even with all the windows, which just adds to the ambiance. It's also very clean and well staffed. Service was quick and efficient--complimentary chips and salsa arrived in a flash-and I truly appreciate my server telling me the margarita at the bottom of the list was $40. (None of the cocktails have prices listed in the menu, as of May 2026). I wanted to order a couple of things, since I'd been trying to get here for so long. I ordered queso fundido, expecting it to be cheese dip with a bit or chorizo. It was actually the other way around: chorizo with a spoonful of cheese on top. It was surprising-very filling and tasty enough-and I liked that it came with three flour tortillas. But I don't think I'll get it again. Don't let that deter you, though. It's just my preference. It's made well and presented nicely, like everything here. Give it a whirl! I also ordered enchiladas Suizas. They came with a small guacamole salad and beans, which I swapped out for rice. This dish was really tasty and a generous portion-so much chicken in the enchiladas-super filling but not heavy at all. I was full from the appetizer, so I had lots of leftovers. They reheated beautifully. I would definitely order this again. But it's a big and intriguing menu. I have lots more exploring to do! This location has several sister restaurants, in places like Lakeland and Zephyrhills. This one is right off I-75 and really easy to access. There's lots of parking and I think they have mariachis, certain nights. I will definitely be back-sooner rather than later-and get more details. Cheers!

I said I…read morewould never go back after my second visit because of how tasteless the food is and how expensive it is for cheap products they use to make the food. Because it was Easter and my wife wanted Mexican food, I figured after a year since my last visit to this restaurant they may have gotten better. I was actually worse. The FREE chips and salsa were terrible. Chips were hard and old tasting and the salsa was watery and tasteless. I think I found one onion piece in the tomato soup they call salsa. Let's start with the service. Mr. No personality, what do you want, why are you asking me questions about the menu truly just seemed annoyed that my wife had a question before we ordered. I had the combo fajita with steak and chicken. My with had the Carne Asada tacos. The tacos had no flavor at all. Just tasted liked chopped up pork with a lot of onions and cilantro on top had no spices no seasoning. As for my fajitas, they to were lacking flavor and the portion for what they charge was shameful I had a big plate of onions with a couple of minced up pieces of chicken and steak scattered throughout it. Both our dishes were served with refried beans and rice and even that tasted like they forgot to season it or just chose not to season it. Truly never returning to this place. It sucks!!!!!!! Should have driven the extra 15 minutes to some of the places that have good reviews on Yelp.

We did not know that walking in. They all looked at us like what are you doing here? My husband even said is this a restaurant? So we asked for a menu - which is a QR code. Yes- they have food. We decided to sit at the bar and at least have a drink. It was early so no a lot of people. Everyone seemed confused as to how things worked. Most employees spoke Spanish and we do not. A bartender did speak English. He asked what we wanted and took our drink order. He was nice. We did end up getting food. Chips and salsa=$10! Other items were priced fairly. We asked for water and he claimed they only had bottles of still water=$4.50. But we saw someone else get a glass with ice/water at another table. Also be warned there is a "service fee" of 15% (for what I have no idea) and if you use a credit card 3% card fee. We searched on line to see what people said about this place and some other reviews on Google said they charge $10 to get in although we were not charged anything to come in. In the end the food was pretty good. Bottom line- this is a nightclub with an identity problem as they are trying to serve food as well and it just does not have a restaurant or bar&grill feel to it. We won't be back as not our scene, but also wish them well with the clients they really are trying to attract.

It was open for business, but there was only one other group of two in there with us-and only one server-who was also the bartender. It was a little odd. I'm sure this place is popping at night. Our server (who was chatty at the end-businesslike before) told us there's karaoke on Friday nights and a DJ on Saturdays. I'll definitely bring the friends back for that. The drink menu is large-it would be a fun night spot. I'm just not sure I'd come back for a weekday lunch. That's not the food's fault, though. I had chicken enchiladas verde (very nice) with some of the best Mexican rice I've ever had. The margarita was also good. You can tell this restaurant has been around awhile-there are echoes of genres past, with different decor still lingering (the lighting, for example). But I love the murals outside, the bar surrounds, the signage by the stage area and the other Mexican touches. I also really like the vintage windows-it's a nice nod to the past. And it's spotless in here-so clean-with lots of tables. I also thought the prices were fair. I hope they thrive!
