One of our favorites and we eat here several times a month. The food is delicious and they are always accommodating of our requests. The meat and chicken were sizzling hot but over cooked and dry. They also lacked flavor like some reviewers have said. The beans and rice that were served on the side were cold. It is not really spicy , if you're southern New Mexico and you like your red or green spicy chili; not spicy at all. This restaurant has consistently been one of the best restaurants in Clovis even since I lived there 9 years ago. When I speak to Mexican people they highlight this restaurant. Forgive me for not remembering the name, but I had a whole fried Tilapia with rice, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and some type of Cole slaw. It came with warm soft tacos so as to make yourself a fish soft taco. I have never been disappointed at this restaurant, give it a try for authentic New Mexican cuisine! read more

I give them an extra star after finding a drivethru window at the side of the building. Ordering food was quick and convenient. The menu on the side of the building seems more limited than the menu inside but I think you can order any of the restaurant menu items. Chicken Flautas, though dry, tasted better than the time I ordered them months ago. Caldo de Res, though a tad too oily, was really good. It's not fancy, it's not gourmet, the servers are hit or miss, but in Clovis, it's pretty much top shelf. Their beans and rice remind me of my wife's.. they get a good char on their carne asada. I wish I didn't have to ask for a grilled jalapeño with my carne asada, but ‍ I guess the locals must not eat them. Don't waste you time or money on a to go order. We love to eat at the establishment but I called to make a take out order and the female that took my order was very rude. Went to pick it up and the man at the window opened it and just stood there never asked who the pick up was for or acted like he cared! Got home and my meal was thrown in a take out tin with a hard shell taco included that wasn't even recognizable. Very disappointed as we frequent this place often, but I believe the take out should be just as important as dine in. We tried this place on Sunday when we went through Clovis after a recommendation from another business owner. The food was really good, the service was quick and the staff was nice. We had queso, combination fajitas and shrimp fajitas. The hot sauce was a little different but I really liked it. My only red flag was the women's restroom. The handicapped stall door wouldn't close at all and another toilet needed attention. I would go back for the food for sure. read more

The food was good, but I ordered a Jalisco Burrito and wanted them to include rice and beans in the burrito and said so over the phone but instead got a burrito with just the meat, lettuce, tomato and sour cream. What kind of burrito only has those toppings? I also ordered tacos WITH cilantro and onion and instead got tacos with lettuce and tomato only. I ordered a side of beans and pinto beans and got rice and refried beans too. I don't see why there was a confusion as I was pretty clear on the phone. read more

Just moved to the Clovis area and so far this has been my favorite of the few Mexican restaurants I've tried. Nice atmosphere, big menu, good prices. Favorite things so far: -The chile relleno: I feel like chile rellenos are something that I try at every Mexican restaurant, but few are really ever that good or stand out. This makes it all the more exciting when I find a good one! - Flour tortillas: I ordered a couple of the street tacos a la cart, and had defaulted to the corn tortillas, when the waitress suggested that I switch to flour since they are bigger and are made fresh in the restaurant. They didn't disappoint! - The hours: Open from 630am to 9 or 10pm on most nights. Lunch available all day! Not sure about breakfast. I can see some late evening cravings kicking in and pulling through their drive thru window. Other than that, I'm sure I'll be back to slowly work my way through the menu. I think the Jalisco burrito is up next, which looks like a cheesy, smothered beast of a burrito. read more

By far the best mexican in Clovis! My husband and I have explored many places in Clovis and this is by far the best one.

Taco decent, enchiladas nothing more than a mass of cheese with a corn tortilla buried inside somewhere. The enchilada sauce faded into the cheese blob.
