We YELPed restaurants, and one of our other favorites in town was closed, so we took a chance on the Cotton Patch Cafe. They were open for dine-in, and the whole experience was absolutely wonderful. Service was excellent. Our server, Hope, did a great job meeting all our needs -- including a large print menu (during COVID, when everything has to be wiped down again...), and she was as accommodating and pleasant as can be. The food was off the page. We both ordered burgers, one Nachadoches, and one traditional with cheese. We got sides of fries and onion rings. Normally, we don't eat the buns, but these were magnificent, not your run-of-the-mill hamburger buns! The burgers were juicy and tender, and the toppings as fresh and tasty as could be. The onion rings were HUGE, and perfectly breaded and fried, and there was a slight sweetness to them that was delightful. The french fries were nicely cut, but could have used a bit more time in the fryer to get just a little crispier. Not everything can be perfect, right? Next time we come through Clovis, we'll be back. And to the owners, thanks for that message of hope on the windows: Faith Over Fear!

Tonight here in Clovis New Mexico I also didn't tip. It doesn't seem to make any difference, the kids just don't care! The food sure is good but I'm waiting for Mike the manager to deliver the missing items because I didn't want to go back out and I'm so upset I'm going to start always auditing this place because I noticed they twist the bag shut every time..."ugh, don't close it up; let's go through everything on the receipt first?" it gets better so the phone number I called on the receipt is actually for a location in Dallas Texas? Support Mike the manager I got a call saying they were down in the lobby and there was no one there. The front desk lady help me look at the actual phone number for the Clovis Location and sure enough the receipt print the wrong phone number. So thanks for trying Mike in Frisco Texas; but the store I had the order feck up From is in Clovis New Mexico

When you first pull up the drive in window on the backside is not clearly marked and appears closed. Instead you have to park, get out off your car and walk to the street facing walk up window. There is awnings or anything to provide shade and once you have made your order there are no benches or seating to wait for your food. It is the middle of summer here and standing outside waiting for the food to be called with no cover was an ordeal. The ladies taking our order were some of the rudest people I have interacted with here in New Mexico making every interaction seem like a major inconvenience including ordering. Once the food came the milk shakes were so thick they were basically just soft serve in a cup which would be fine except they don't have milk shake straws! The straws they do have are so thin that is is difficult to even soda through them and they don't even provide straws with their milk shakes, they give you spoons and they seemed out surprised and put out when I requested a straw. Like I said, the food once you get it is good but depending on the temperature outside and the complexity of your order this may not be a place worth the wait.

The beef plate and tempura shrimp came out hot ready to eat simple refreshing sides accompanied the main entree perfectly! Did I say clean! Bokka is a nice, clean little restaurant with good service. Their food is fresh, hot, and delicious. We almost passed it by as there weren't any cars in the parking lot but most of their parking is in back, anyway. The restaurant was almost empty but filled up after we arrived. They, also, seemed to do a lot of take out (DoorDash type) of orders. I recommend Bokka! read more

Don't let the prices fool you since you will get more than expected. I make an effort to have at least 1 meal a month from here and is the most authentic Korean food you will find in the Clovis, NM area. The beef bulgogi is my favorite, however, I have no doubt everything is excellent! You won't be disappointed! read more

The food has great flavor and the meat was very tender. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is because the prices are a little high. $42 for 3 meals no drinks, my coworker paid $14 for 1. We ordered over the phone and were not aware meat was $2 extra on some of the dishes. read more

Heating appliance might be broken, repair or replacement is needed. I do not recommend anything that has to do with meat of any kind here. The fruit they served was old, despite me arriving an hour after opening. The broccoli was fine in a dish, though I like cold / luke-warm broccoli, so I do not mind personally. Noodles had too much oil for my taste, but that's to be expected, thus they were the best dish in the house. I have had to actively spit out about 25% of the food, for safety reasons. Service Review: Service was fine. Do not order water as a drink here. It is tap, and tap water in this area can make you throw up if you aren't used to it. I puked in my mouth myself, I wish I requested soda. They took our plates twice, which is a good rate of service since we had about 2.5 plates each. No words are spoken other than a thank you. No greetings were available to us. Atmosphere Review: The vibe was extremely judgmental for some reason. I was constantly getting stares from other people, no one had a sense of class or peace of mind. There was constant stress in the air from both staff and dining customers. Traveling 30 miles by car will be more worth it than this. Trust me.
