Hot food after a long day driving from Denver literally got us melting in our hotel seats. We had to wait half an hour in the car for the food due to Covid but it was worth it especially the short ribs. $20 was a fair price for the amount of meats we got and you can taste the freshness off the grill. Kimchi wasn't too spicy which was perfect for me as I longed for some simple vegetables. The Japche (sweet potato noodle stir fry) was wrapped in a foil pouch which kept its temperature - I was so thankful for that. The two items paired very well I'd planned to return on Sunday to check out more items, but they're closed on Sundays.

Staff was extremely friendly I had the spicy pork aka Samgyeopsal. This is usually my favorite but this one tasted a bit salty. Kimchi was sour. But I think I'm pretty spoiled in Houston, with a larger Korean community.

Takeout Beef Bulgogi, Chicken Katsu, Rice, Froed Dumplings. So good. Trust me, the slow wait is worth it!

Everyone is right. The food at Bokka is very, very good but the service is very slow. Even for being slow, the service is so polite. I think the food was so darn good I don't care how long they take. I'd rather have excellent tasting, fresh food from nice Koreans and go knowing you will wait twice as long as the "30 minutes" they promised it will take over the phone. Yes, they do take out! Tip: they seem to prefer you look at the menu and state the number of the special you want to order rather than the name of the dish. There was a bit of a issue but I don't mind. Portions are perfect. Not too much, not too little. Bulgogi meat was tender and flavorful, Chicken Katsu was perfectly breaded and tasty even without sauce, Fried Rice is the best in town. Fried dumplings too! I can't wait to go back.

I've tried this restaurant three times since it opened and I'm not going to dispute that food and flavors are good. Right now my main problem is with the wait times. The first time I went there with my husband, they straight up forgot about my fried rice. Once I finally got it, I realized that they forgot the meat I selected and paid for. The rice was also very under-seasoned. The second time, I ordered Kalbi, not realizing it was the most expensive item on the menu (totally my fault, should have looked). Once short ribs finally came out, they looked great but were so chewy I couldn't even bite a piece off. I ended up taking most of them home and finished them off for dinner - they were great cold. I just think that for the most expensive item on the menu, it wasn't up to par taste wise. The third time I went was with a group of coworker for lunch. We ended up spending over an hour waiting for our food, and we only got it because one of us went and told the waitress that we had to be back at work in 15 mins. We ended up not eating any food there and had to take it to go. To be fair, the restaurant was busy, but at this point they are not equipped to deal with the volume of orders. It was very disappointing to spend close to 1.5 hours just sitting there, waiting on food and then not even be able to eat it. Will I go again? Yes, after a few weeks, maybe. Do I think It will get better? Also yes, once they figure out how to handle large volumes of orders.

Small portions (meat) and greasy.! Service was not bad at all. And it's clean and not bad looking inside.

We YELPed restaurants, and one of our other favorites in town was closed, so we took a chance on the Cotton Patch Cafe. They were open for dine-in, and the whole experience was absolutely wonderful. Service was excellent. Our server, Hope, did a great job meeting all our needs -- including a large print menu (during COVID, when everything has to be wiped down again...), and she was as accommodating and pleasant as can be. The food was off the page. We both ordered burgers, one Nachadoches, and one traditional with cheese. We got sides of fries and onion rings. Normally, we don't eat the buns, but these were magnificent, not your run-of-the-mill hamburger buns! The burgers were juicy and tender, and the toppings as fresh and tasty as could be. The onion rings were HUGE, and perfectly breaded and fried, and there was a slight sweetness to them that was delightful. The french fries were nicely cut, but could have used a bit more time in the fryer to get just a little crispier. Not everything can be perfect, right? Next time we come through Clovis, we'll be back. And to the owners, thanks for that message of hope on the windows: Faith Over Fear!

Waited 30 minutes got back to hotel and was missing the homemade ranch dressing and the butter cake dessert that I ordered and paid for. My order gets messed up at every one of these locations - it happened recently in round rock Texas in Austin and on the first time when they messed up the order I had tipped . when I went for the makeup order I didn't tip. Tonight here in Clovis New Mexico I also didn't tip. It doesn't seem to make any difference, the kids just don't care! The food sure is good but I'm waiting for Mike the manager to deliver the missing items because I didn't want to go back out and I'm so upset I'm going to start always auditing this place because I noticed they twist the bag shut every time..."ugh, don't close it up; let's go through everything on the receipt first?" it gets better so the phone number I called on the receipt is actually for a location in Dallas Texas? Support Mike the manager I got a call saying they were down in the lobby and there was no one there. The front desk lady help me look at the actual phone number for the Clovis Location and sure enough the receipt print the wrong phone number. So thanks for trying Mike in Frisco Texas; but the store I had the order feck up From is in Clovis New Mexico

When I was checking my order I noticed I was missing my taco burgers so I pulled to the side and walked up to the front take out window and nicely told the young girl that I accidentally didn't get my taco burgers and showed her my receipt. Let me explain. When you first pull up the drive in window on the backside is not clearly marked and appears closed. Instead you have to park, get out off your car and walk to the street facing walk up window. There is awnings or anything to provide shade and once you have made your order there are no benches or seating to wait for your food. It is the middle of summer here and standing outside waiting for the food to be called with no cover was an ordeal. The ladies taking our order were some of the rudest people I have interacted with here in New Mexico making every interaction seem like a major inconvenience including ordering. Once the food came the milk shakes were so thick they were basically just soft serve in a cup which would be fine except they don't have milk shake straws! The straws they do have are so thin that is is difficult to even soda through them and they don't even provide straws with their milk shakes, they give you spoons and they seemed out surprised and put out when I requested a straw. Like I said, the food once you get it is good but depending on the temperature outside and the complexity of your order this may not be a place worth the wait.
