While we understand restaurants have to manage seating, it was disappointing to be refused service despite there being an open table. The second strike was learning that the restaurant now charges a 3.5% fee on all credit card transactions. While businesses can choose how they handle payment processing costs, unexpected surcharges leave a negative impression. One entree, chips and salsa and one drink was $60 so it's not like the prices are discounted to justify a 3.5,% credit card fee We still enjoy the atmosphere and charm of this restaurant, but these changes have diminished the overall experience and have us reconsidering future visits.
