Possibly the best street tacos I've ever had. The 4 taco plate is a ton of food, so don't be fooled by the sign. It was ready quickly and a great deal for the money. They don't have tables, but you can take your food into the bar next door, and it is a great dive with tons of TVs to watch the game. We will likely be back tomorrow read more

Flavor! Loved a brief experience with Temo today. We needed something to fill our stomachs before a day of drinking whiskey. Yelp steered us to this highly rated taqueria. This is a small restaurant with 4 or 5 tables and an exterior takeout window. They are known for their pastor which I had to try. So we ordered 2 quesadillas, one pastor and one asada. We also ordered 2 horchata. The pastor hype in reviews is no joke. Super flavorful and smoky from the vertical rotisserie. The asada was also good, but not even close to the flavor of the pastor. They were generous with the meat in the quesadillas. The horchata was super flavorful. Both green and orange sauces that were on the table were spicy and yummy. This clean 'hole-in-the-wall' taqueria is a must try if staying or passing through the Stockyards area. You won't be disappointed. read more

We're California peeps, hoping to move out to this area one day. we wanted Mexican food that was more authentic not Tex-mex. We will Come here anytime we miss good Mexican food. Everything is great! All the meat was flavorful, the beans were exceptional and the staff were so nice and helpful! The space wasn't too loud or overcrowded. Definitely will be a spot we visit again! I give the Asada tacos a 7 out of 10, the meat was a little on the dry side but had a lot of great flavor. I give the Pastor tacos a 9 out of 10, they were almost perfect just wish it was more meat in the tacos. The asada quesadilla was also a 7 out of 10 for the same reason already stated above on the asada tacos. Nothing special about it, pretty basic. The service was ok, when she called us up to get our food she left it on the counter and walked away like she was bothered about something before we got up there, idk what that was about. And no it wasn't busy at all, we were the only people there at the time. I do believe the restaurant is still great though! The restaurant is very small and clean. I really would not have expected to get this level of traditional, authentic Mexican food at a little place in the stockyards. I figured it was just one of those cheap, 4:00 a.m. places where all the drunk people go to eat because they don't know any better. This was the real deal. Legitimately reminded me of little taco stands and I've eaten at so many times in Mexico. Somebody's grandma must be back there cooking the beans. We both ordered one round of tacos each and decided that just wasn't enough. So we went back for another round. I love sitting outside at a table I'm not sure is going to make it through the meal. Half the menu or more is just handwritten on the wall. Just great stuff all the way around if you're into the same kind of thing I'm into. Well done, amigos! read more
