This little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant in the North Side is the best! You can't go wrong with any meal here. I had breakfast during this visit. I had potato and egg and ham. The eggs and potatoes were tasty. The ham was nicely grilled. My favorite thing here are their freshly made tortillas. They rival my mom's tortillas. This place is always super bust so expect to wait. But, it is worth the wait. Parking is limited. There is a larger lot in the back.

The man who greeted us at the door was so kind and helpful. However everything went wrong after sitting down. I ordered using this picture from the website because I have never been in and knew I just wanted some street style tacos. Once I received the tacos they were nothing like the photo and included rice and beans. She also failed to mention they had no limes and brought me a lemon instead. Then the queso we ordered had to be requested again after going up to get our server. She never refilled our water or chips. It was overall just rather disappointing. Also the machine they use automatically selects 35% on the tip which is just absolutely absurd. Overall I do not think I will be returning.

They have the best home cooked Mexican food that you could possibly ask for. And if you're a breakfast person this is the place to be! Their barbacoa is cooked very well amd hits the spot everytime.

This is the first authentic Mexican restaurant I've found in Fort Worth. We went on a Sunday around noon and it was very crowded. The restaurant looks like a converted home so there wasn't a lot of space to wait, however the wait ended up being only about 15 minutes. The food was wonderful and service was fast. The only complaint I had was the automatic I believe either 3% or 4% charge for using a debit or credit card.

Always receive great service and a really good sandwich The Number 11 The Big D. I get mine with mayo and spicy mustard. I have the works except onions, tomatoes, and salt. I add pepper and garlic. !!

We each got the eggs and bacon that is served with refried beans and two of their massive homemade flour tortillas! OMG! The whole plate was just under $7 and we could have shared! Very generous portions for the price! The complimentary chips (very lightly salted= my preference) & salsa were also really good. The service was good. The place was crowded on a Saturday morning so we had to wait about 15 minutes but it was worth it. We checked out the menu while we waited. The other guests were friendly and it seemed like they had some regulars there. They have daily lunch specials during the week. We look forward to going back!

Oh Yes! This is just one more reason why I love Ft Worth...under the top layer of gentrification, you can still find the real deal. Going going gone is the mantra chanted by those hardy adventurous souls that don't want the latest chef driven breakfast for $30( Ft Worth has those too). But,prefer to occasionally go off grid and find something your mom or significant other wouldn't dream of goin in. It's been awhile since I've found a fully blossomed restaurant like this. Years of dedication by this family, serving up traditional delicious necessities! I loved it and you will too! Go!

My man crush and I were in Fort Worth for the weekend and looking for a place to have lunch on our way out. The parking lot was packed at Dos Molina's which is usually a good sign. Despite the crowded lot, we were able to be seated within 5 minutes. The chips and salsa were very good and addictive. I ordered the cheese enchiladas topped with chili con carne and guisada beef tips and my man crush ordered the chicken enchiladas. Both plates came with rice and beans. The food was steaming hot and so delicious! The guisada beef tips were AMAZING...so tender and flavorful. I'm kicking myself for not bringing an order of that home! The prices were very reasonable and the service was good. It was a bit warm in the restaurant; however, we would definitely go back.

A friend recommended this location. The atmosphere was pleasant. The server was great, but my food was cold, and I had to send it back, unfortunately.

However, I find the food to be quite a let down, not worth the price. I had the sourdough and it was good. I had the steak and fries for the main course with the upgrade cuts of steak. The fries were well seasoned however not all was good evenly and some over cooked and some undercooked. The steak was okay, the sears were bad and so was the overall flavor. Overall, I think it's a great place for a business meet up and if you are standing at the property but nothing too special. For food, I ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken was good, but the waffles were not a favorite and was a bit too hard. The atmosphere was energetic, and a little loud, so be prepared to have to talk loudly to the person you come with. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, which I really appreciated. Fort Worth doesn't have a lot of brunch places with a more elevated and lively atmosphere, so I would recommend this place if that is what you're looking for.

We opened with a cocktail from the bar, which set a high bar for what followed -- unfortunately, not everything cleared it. The Deviled Eggs with Spicy Best Maid Pickles arrived looking the part, four to an order, but tasted like they'd forgotten to show up to their own party. Bland, flat, and in desperate need of seasoning, we reached for the salt shaker, which helped, but shouldn't have been necessary. The pickles, to their credit, were doing their absolute best and were genuinely the only flavor happening on that plate. Skip these. The pickles deserve better supporting cast. The Cheeseburger with Wasp Sauce on a potato bun, however, is a different story entirely. We ordered it medium, half expecting the kitchen to interpret that however it pleased, but it arrived cooked exactly as requested, which felt like a small victory worth celebrating. The Wasp Sauce is a mystery worth solving, and the house-made chips that come alongside are fresh, crisp, and dangerously snackable. Pro tip: order a side of ranch for dipping. You're welcome. We also added a side of fries, which were equally excellent. No notes. Little Red Wasp has real charm, great energy, a fun bar, and a cheeseburger worth crossing Main Street for. Just steer clear of the deviled eggs and order the chips with abandon.

Went for the biscuits, but our very wise waitress, Adriana, warned us that the biscuits were made with lard. Well that knocked out a bunch or breakfast options. She was so sweet and actually went to the kitchen and marked the menu pointing out lard-free menu choices. On the menu. Using black ink dots. Above and beyond. So we regrouped our breakfast plans and went mainly vegetarian. The Herbivore was absolutely delicious! Antebellum cheese grits topped with garlicky kale, romanesco and a soft boiled egg. We added a second egg. Split with my hubby. So good!! My sister-in-law had the brioche French toast. French toast topped with honey better, fresh berries and pecan granola. Served with maple syrup. Amazing! Added the duck fat breakfast potatoes. Who knew that the flavor would be so enhanced with the onions, peppers and duck fat. Get this side! We started with the biscuits and cinnamon roll. I would recommend both. The biscuits came with a jam, honey and whipped butter. The icing wasn't too sweet and complimented the roll nicely. For the table, we had the pollo frito biscuit w/duck fat potatoes, Brisket Benedict w/okra and the Fixe Breakfast entree w/maple sausage and potatoes. The pollo Frito was delicious, the chicken was seasoned well and maintained crunch even within the biscuit. Duck fat potatoes were also good but were even better after adding some salt. The brisket benny was okay, the texture of the brisket was very odd and didn't really hold up to the egg. Although the okra had a great flavor the batter was a bit too thick which made it chewy. The Fixe breakfast was great and the maple sausage was perfect. Our waitress was Adriana, she was great and very helpful. Overall we would definitely come back and look forward to trying dinner one night.
