I ordered for my band playing next door it took 30 mins for the two girls to make four hotdogs . When I walked it over to them ( 50 ft ) they said the hot dogs were so cold it was as if they just took them out of the fridge . Prob would be good if you got better workers

As soon as the tour was over we walked back to the corner of W. Crockett and N. Presa to give them a try. Our tour guide was right, these are the best hotdogs in San Antonio. Bacon wrapped with a multitude of options for toppings, paired with a toasted bun, we literally sacrificed our keto diet on these. 100% recommend. We had two of the bacon wrapped with ketchup and mustard, and shared an everything (ketchup, mustard, mayo, and jalapeños). I can't decide which is better so you will need to give them both a try as well. Great location. Nice easy walk from the Alamo, and they are open late to give you the snack you need while doing a historic tour or of the city or spending a night out on the Riverwalk. I also have to give the guys working the stand a compliment, they were fast regardless of the line, and happy to be giving the customers a great experience. Bottom line, this hotdog stand is unlike any other I've been to (and I'm from the New York area - hot dog stand capital of the world). Go give them a try!

    - Mi Coszon Street Tacos, San Antonio…read more After leaving the bar, I was hunting for something open late that wasn't fast food. Yelp pointed me toward Mi Coszon Street Tacos over 4 stars and close by so I hopped on a scooter. GPS said I was there... but no tacos in sight. Then I met Bull the bouncer at Coyote Ugly (looked exactly like Bull from Night Court, but nope, not him I asked). I told him I was looking for tacos, and he said, "Walk down the alley they're in the back of our place!" Sure enough, through a slightly sketchy-looking alley, I found Rochelle and her wife Zina running this little taco stand with huge smiles and amazing customer service. They set me up at a spot overlooking the River Walk, where I ended up chatting with a 25-year-old celebrating his going-away party (heading to Lansing, MI Jeraldo, maybe? It was late ). The cook whose name I didn't get gave a solid recommendation with Luna Rosa for the next day. I ordered a few tacos and a chicken quesadilla, and they were exactly what I wanted: fresh, flavorful, and made with love. The whole experience was great! The food, the people, the view it was exactly what I wanted. My unexpected alley adventure was perfect. If they were near Detroit, I'd be a regular for sure.

True some people like to complain just to hear themselves complain, but I would not be one of those. If you look at all my reviews that I list on Yelp, most of them are positive with a few that are of the three star level very few are of the one star level which, you have just now achieved. And don't worry, Rochelle , I will not be returning to your establishment in the sweltering heat or any other level of ambient temperature. Readers, please be advised, there are much better Taquerias in the area than this one, with much friendly customer service.

My choice was The Tin Box because I could not pass up the daily special Richardson Farms Roasted Pork Belly Sliders (2) with homemade BBQ sauce and slaw (7.25) It was the perfect meat to bun ratio the bun was slightly sweet the pork belly melted in my mouth like butter and the sauce and slaw gave it the perfect texture and tang for the perfect slider! They also have a daily special local produce side or homemade potato chips as a side. Their Gourmet Sandwiches run 6.50 - 7.50 including a vegetarian option all made with locally sourced meet and produce. For drinks they offer bottled water and Mexican coke. I will definitely be back next time I am in San Marcos! Bonus the bearded guys who run the trailer are a hoot!!!
