Been driving by this place for years told my wife let's give them a try. This place sucks walked in there was two guys sitting at a table didn't know if they worked there or customer. Did not know if we had a waiter or we ordered at counter no one to be seen behind the counter a couple came in they came to the counter a guy comes out took there order I told him me and my wife have been waiting awhile. He did not apologize no welcome to the Taqueria not even a smile so I ordered a chicken tostadas and my wife 3 tacos came with no sides then he told me they do not sell tea so I ask for some chips he said we don't sell chips I said are you kidding me Mexican Restaurant duh! I said this place sucks he just looked at me got our food my chicken was dried out the corn tostadas was loaded with grease hoping it was not spit. My wife tacos were no bigger than a small coffee cup In diameter she said hers was dried out no flavor on mine or hers got ready to go not even a come back or a thank you.This place is terrible and know good we came here by the reviews must be family or friends who wrote them the prices was reasonable but not even worth that so save your money go somewhere else or you can say that guy was right it's no good. read more

This joint hides in plain sight in a double-wide on Hwy 105 in Plantersville. Best street tacos between Waco and Houston: I frequently pick up six or ten and nibble all day on them. They'll put the cilantro and onion on the side if you want. Squeeze a little lime over them, and go. The street tacos are the real draw, and for me everything is a bit of a distant second. The street tacos here are absolutely delicious. At just over $1 a piece grab a few or you'll be sorry you didn't order more!!!!

This place is always so busy when I pass so i had to try it. However I went at an off hour and no one was there. They were out of almost everything I wanted to order and I guess they thought I couldnt speak spanish because the three men working were saying obscene things about me. Then i turn around after I pay and the one sitting at the table is taking pictures of me!!!!! How creepy! So I sit to wait and he gets up to sit with me and asked my name. I asked why it mattered, got my food and left. Felt so unsafe too bad the food was pretty good ill never be back. read more

Good street tacos with plenty of flavor as I ordered the beef, pastor (pork), and lengua (beef tongue) with an agua de horchata drink. Everything was surprisingly good, was not disappointed. When we pulled up we were a little hesitant with the strange location but were thoroughly suprised by the quality of the roasted meats! We had the whole chicken, nachos and in each one the meat was tender and full of authentic flavor. The tortillas and beans were plain but fresh which was nice. However the nacho chips & cheese were less than desirable. Only real disappointment though was that they were out of aqua frescas but otherwise it was an exciting adventure and we'd definitely eat there again. read more

I would go to this taco stand everyday throughout the summer, when the mexican guy was on staff. Best tacos and tortas I've had outside of San Antonio! The ladies are sweet, however always would get my order wrong, EVERY TIME. I was always polite, clear, and tipped. So it wasn't me. I suppose the instructions got lost in translation. I wish they had brisket. Maybe they do now? Last time I asked for avocado they forgot (not the first time either), plus I found a bug in my food, that kinda ran me off. Plus I got discouraged that they still didnt get my order right. I'm surely willing to try them again, if I happen past and see the mexican man is there. He is the best! I think the tacos are reasonably priced. I usually don't stop there when its wet outside. It can be a little muddy if your dressed up. Tacos are authentic and condiments are great. I was not happy to see bugs inside. I recommend they cover the cleaning equipment one night and set bug bomb off inside. I still eat there, a roach never killed anyone right? read more
