Another little treasure compliments of Yelp. A roadside food truck that I would have otherwise just passed by . Fantastic service, the staff went out of their way to make sure I liked what I was getting. Giving me samples of the meat to try before I bought and all were delicious. I went with the lunch special with pork to go. When I got home and opened it up I found enough food to feed a small village. Everything fresh and fantastic. A small salad, yellow rice with red beans, more than enough meat and tortilla shells to make wraps. Needless to say I shared it with a family of 4. will definitely go back when in the area. Look forward to trying the rest of the menu. love these little discoveries. Cheers.

Food is super delicious!! The owners are so sweet and very friendly you can tell they really love what they do! Definitely would recommend this place to everyone. Everything is fresh and super clean! I recommend trying the carnitas with nachos. The aquas (juices) are so good and homemade by them! And the prices are definitely worth it, the amount of food they give you it's like no other place ! This is the best Mexican food in Ocala!! The amount of food you get for the price is crazy especially since other restaurants over charge and give you a sample of food. I have tried everything here from the Tacos to the Nachos and added flan for desserts. They do tamales once a month and are the best I have had since NY and Texas! When you want a taco to have everything cheese, cilantro, sour cream, onions the works this is the spot and you will not regret it! The owner is friendly and fast service read more

I pass the food truck on a daily basis and finally decided to stop in and give it a try. We had chicken burritos. Chicken tacos and pork tacos. Everything was good and fresh. We did have to wait a little bit for it they make it as you order it's not a bad thing. If your in a rush you should prob order ahead as we seen a few people did as we were waiting. The husband and wife I assume were very nice. We will be stopping by again to get more it was very good and the price was very reasonable. read more

Stopped by for a quick lunch. The truck wasn't there at 11:30 as advertised on their brochure but they came around by 12. I ordered a lunch plate but asked for no rice or beans, just salad. She generously added avocado to my salad. I had chicken as the meat and the portion size was huge! You really get your money's worth!! read more

Of all the places from Cali to Texas to Florida... There is only one taco better than here. Needless to say it comes from a chain and it aint the bell...it has a cult following, which many people would not understand. The tacos are authentic as your going to find. The burritos are way too big for 1 person. Everything is fresh from the tortas to the sopes... It is all good!!! read more

This food truck is a hidden gem in the Shores area of Ocala that serves some of the freshest and most authentic Mexican food you can find in the area. Friendly service from the owners and large portion sizes make for a good recipe. Try the grande burrito - it's huge! I love the grilled jalapeño slices that they use in the burritos. Quick tip: if there's something you like but don't see on the menu, ask! There are certain things (such as tamales) that they have which are not on the menu that only the most seasoned vets can get ;). read more

I love this place! Every time I come into Ocala, I always eat here. It reminds me of home (So. California). If you're looking for legit Mexican food truck food, this is it. They're so friendly and polite. I ordered: 2 Carne Asada tacos with cebolla and cilantro, one (1) alpastor taco with cebolla and cilantro, and a Carne Asada sope. So delicious! The only thing I would advise is, call to order your food--so it'll be ready by the time you get there. read more

My friend brought me food from here a while back. It wasnt too bad. He said it was better than Tacos y Mas and he had never tried them. Lets just say, once he had a chicken quesadilla and steak taco from Tacos y Mas, he never looked back. Plus, Tacos y Mas doesnt come on Yelp and bash this place unlike the guy from here that bashed them. Not good business practice. And no, im not getting paid or free food for this. I just think its shady to bash a company you compete with and try to take customers away from them out of jealousy. For that reason, I wont give this place my money read more

This is by far the most authentic Mexican I've ever had in Ocala. I got two large entrees for $9 and both were very good. The tortas is massive and flavorful, I had to finish it with a fork. I recommend getting takeout since the seating area is picnic style. Everything is fresh and made directly in front of you. read more

I get that restaurants have systems, but La Hacienda is in the perfect position to serve breakfast ALL day. Shift workers need breakfast all day. Truckers eat at weird times and also need breakfast all day. Nurses finishing graveyard shifts still need breakfast all day. The food quality and value here are genuinely unbeatable, which makes this so frustrating. So what's the deal with the arbitrary cutoff???? Why can't eggs be served all day? I've never understood this.

So the blueberry cake donut was definitely my favorite as it was super flavorful with blueberry donut goodness as well as a yummy icing on top to set the vibe to the donut goodness one could totally get again and again! The jelly donut was awesome like it's up there with one of the best ones I've ever had as the flavors were totally there and just a perfect doughnut from start to finish. So we are suckers for apple fritters and we totally had to get one to try and I must say while it was good it wasn't my favorite as these I'm very picky with as I love them flat and really crispy and not everyone does them this way so I can't knock them for their own style and besides it was definitely good for what it was just not the go to one for me! I was told that Tas-T-O's donuts was a must and they weren't wrong. This is an old-school donut joint doing it retro-style which is the best way! I made sure to be there right after opening at Saturday 6:15am and there were already cars pulling up. I was told get there super early or be shut out. I can see why, as these donuts are the real deal! Made fresh overnight and put on display shelves in the front window. You order from the front door window and also point to the ones you want and how many. I got a box of a dozen and it was less than $20, a variety of donuts, apple fritters, and glazed bow ties. Along with a tasty large cup of coffee for around $3. All I'll say is "WOW"!!!! The donuts are delicious, soft, moist, fluffy, and so fresh tasting. No wonder they sell out fast, as most days they are open 5 or 6am until noon, and many times they close early once they sell out. Closed on Monday and Tuesday. You can see the kitchen in full view with all it's equipment and racks through the windows. Oh, and the service is terrific. The girl working this overnight to morning shift making the donuts was very kind and nice to chat with. Even though she had to be tired she was cheerful with a smile as we discussed the business and answered my questions about the business and area. I didn't even initially assume it was a hate campaign until my sister mentioned it's an anti-pride month initiative. It's sad because the staff seems well intentioned and the coffee/food was fine. I just can't recommend this place as being an open-minded and respectful place for lgbtq+ people.

Best food ever! I live in NY & I have not found any better food & more authentic Mexican food. Eating the food here reminds me of childhood, & being Mexican I know best. I love the tacos al pastor, or the burritos de carnitas, they are my favorite with some agua de horchata (rice water) makes it a perfect day. Conveniently located right off Maricamp Road right by the Silver Springs Pawn Shop, they serve many great authentic Mexican dishes, if you love REAL Mexican food and live in Ocala, you owe it to yourself to try them out, because once you do you will never have Mexican anywhere again, and their prices are great for the amount of food you get. read more

Ordered 3 steak tacos with cebolla y cilantro and it was great. Got there 10 min before closing time and they were more than happy to serve us. The meat was very well seasoned and they were not stingy at all with loaded the tortillas with plenty meat. Would definitely eat there again read more
