I tried the carne asada, brisket, and lengua. All were pretty solid, but I was lowkey sad they took out the tripas!!! That's usually one of my go-to tacos! No mames guey!
The tortillas were definitely a highlight fresh, warm, soft, and tasted really good. As far as the tacos overall though, I'd say they were good/okay, but not necessarily GREAT or something I'd be dreaming about the next day lol. Still enjoyed them though.
Service was okay. One thing that threw me off is that since this is an actual sit-down spot, I thought they'd have hot sauce or salsa bottles at the tables. Apparently you have to go inside and grab the premade salsa in the little cups. I mean...it works vato but if we're sitting down eating tacos, throw some bottles on the table for us!
Overall, solid spot. Fresh tortillas, good meat, poppin atmosphere, and I'd definitely eat here again. Just bring back the tripas and give us some hot sauce bottles!
