    Chorizo, suadero, cow head tacos
    Cleo G.

Michelin recommended tacos! This was pretty good. We had a mariachi band serenade us while we were there which was fun. We tried a lot of food. Their pastor, suadero, chorizo, and cow head tacos, as well as their choriqueso and frijoles. The pastor and chorizo tacos were great, but the shader and cow head were nothing special. Fairly bland. The choriqueso was fine but just kind of glooey, greasy cheese. Not smooth. And the frijoles were good, pretty standard. This is nothing special, honestly. It's okay, not great.

Unfortunately this taco stand that was featured on Bourdain's show no longer seems to be cutting it. The pastor was just plain okay and nothing to rave about. Maybe it gets better at night?

    Tongue taco, tripe taco

Maybe it was better in Bourdain's day? Honestly, it really wasn't anything special. We ordered one each of tongue, tripe, campechano, and gizzard tacos. They were all okay but nothing that would make me think I need to return. The price is right and the small tortillas are heavily stuffed. The best I can say is that the agua de tamarindo was genuinely excellent. I would say that the service was good except for one thing. I asked (in Spanish) for my tacos without cilantro. I repeated myself twice and the server repeated it back to me. My plate came covered in cilantro and the server seemed surprised that I had a problem with it. On the up side though, a replacement plate came rather quickly. You won't get bad tacos here but it's not worth going out of your way for.

Really good! We wanted a quick lunch and seeing that we were close to Los Cocuyos and had heard great things we decided to stop in. This is the perfect taco spot - no frills, quick and delicious tacos. I had the chorizo, brisket and mix tacos and wow. The brisket was genuinely the juiciest taco I have ever had and I still think about it. We even got a second round because they were so good. Service was quick and attentive and ambiance great for a quick lunch. Will be back next time I am in CDMX!

We stopped by at this taco spot to try out some meats we had never encountered before, including eye tacos. The service was good and attentive and the restaurant is large, plenty of seating available. We tried multiple different meats but none really stood out as great. Overall, a very average taco spot.

This is the spot that Anthony Bordain (Food Legend) recommends. Opens 24/7 and is considered one of the great taco institutions of CDMX. Lots of selections for what meat you want in your tacos. Grab a beer, grab some tacos, and do not put too much of the green sauce. Its real spicy even for the strongest.

I came here to try the highly rated tacos. I ordered the 3 for $70 pesos and my brother ordered the chicken torta for $120 pesos. He can't recommend the sandwich as it was lacking in flavor. My tacos were good and came with 3 sauces and limes. I rated three stars because I would possibly come here again for the tacos but would not go out of my way for them.

In a city where you can walk soo many places you totally know that I'm gonna find the best Taquerias and right here is no exception as what we had here was just that scrumptious! We started off with some much needed guacamole and with that it transpired onto our quesadillas that we both had ordered being pastor of course as you can't go wrong with them spinning and cutting it off as you order it and let me say the flavors for both were totally there just yummy and bold the way they should be! The horchata was delicious and super flavorful and up there with some of the best I've ever had it was perfect to go with all the spice that I would find from the salsa that we were provided with. Overall this was a chill spot to grab some food as it took us off the street for a bit and into their restaurant which had a homey hole in the wall feeling that was just right for the given night!

Really amazing tacos at Taquería Los Cocuyos! Service as quick and friendly and the food was fantastic. I recommend both the Pastor and Saudero, topped off with their delicious Horchata. There was a line to get in, but it didn't take long to get in. They were also very helpful for English speakers and take credit cards.

We actually found this place looking for another, but saw that the place had a good looking spit with pastor out on the sidewalk and the dining room was full of people (which is the true test on how good a place is) and it had great Yelp reviews so we were in. I got the Gringa with pastor & Suadera (pork & brisket - $60 pesos at a conversion rate of $19.81 pesos per dollar comes out about $3) and it was the show stopper - I had to get another because it was so good but also kinda small & not enough to fill up on). My girlfriend got the Orden de Tres (street tacos - $22 pesos or $1.15) - she also got 2 orders (pastor & sueadero - pork & brisket) and they both were really good. If you are used to getting chips and salsa before your meal - they don't give you chips here, but their salsas are wonderful. My favorite was the tomatillo (darker green one) and the red. The lighter green is jalapeño and very hot (a little hotter than I wanted my first night in Mexico) but was also good. Our whole meal with a 20% tip came out to like $15-ish US dollars. Big fan of Taqueria Los Cocuyos!

Tacos are really good services good too. Can't complain. If Anthony Bourdain, approved we shouldn't complain.. Rest In peace.

If you're in Mexico, come down, Food is good here People are very friendly and attend to you right away. I love Mexico.

Great cheap tacos with amazing sauce. We got the two vegiterian tacos (cactus and mushroom) and both were good but it was the sauces that made then great. The red sauce was more complex and flavorful than I'm use to and ended up being a surprising favorite. The green sauce was tangy and with a hint of spice and very fresh. The guacamole was hearty and flavorful as well. The first time they only put three chips in it so i think it was mostly for the tacos. They are very quick as well. Each taco set comes within minutes of us ordering them. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions as well. Overall a great spot for tacos at a good price.

Wow I was so impressed with this spot which seems like just a hole in the wall. It was featured on Netflix for a reason though, I promise you. Unlike many other CDMX taquerias, this place feels just like home: the food and atmosphere are warm without any superfluous tricks or things that try to impress. The make simple, familiar food and they make it well. I highly recommend their pastor (it was some of the best and most flavorful I've had in CDMX) and their traditional horchata (it's creamy and delicious)! The food comes out fast and fresh and the service is helpful without being overly attentive. This place HAS TO be on your taco bucket list while you're here!! They serve up the perfect example of Mexican street food made with care and great flavor!

Luckily when we came last Sunday, around 2 pm, there was no wait for a table. An employee saw us and told us to sit anywhere. As soon as sat down, another employee brought us menus. We ended up getting: Grande Lechero, $54 MXN ($3.13 USD)- Large size coffee with milk. When our server brought over my husband's drink, she made a grand show of pouring the milk up high into my husband's coffee. I just wished I had gotten a video of it but it was definitely very fun to watch. My husband said his coffee was good (I didn't have any because I am not much of a coffee drinker). Combo 1 with Grande chocolate drink, $155 MXN ($8.98 USD)- So this combination comes with 4 large pieces of churros, 1 dip of your choice and also a chocolate drink. I ended up choosing a Mexican hot chocolate, which is made with cinnamon and sugar. Surprisingly the drink wasn't overly sweet. And really was perfect to dip my churro into the hot chocolate. For the dip, I picked cajeta, which is caramel made with goats milk. The cajeta was excellent with the churro. I don't know if this was the best churro that I have ever had, but it is definitely one of the top ones I have ever had. My husband also enjoyed the churros and the cajeta (he also liked my hot chocolate too). --------------------------- (Total= $209 MXN or $12.11 USD prior to tip) Wait time for our items was pretty quick. We waited less than 10 minutes for everything. Also credit card is accepted so my husband paid (We have the Costco Visa credit card which does not have a foreign transaction fee, which we used exclusively when we were not paying cash). Our server brought a card reader machine to our table when we were ready to pay (for those of you unaware, in Mexico, you will not be brought your check until you ask for it because it is considered rude to give it to you beforehand, assuming that you are being rushed). Overall, we had a really great experience at this location and highly recommend checking out any of the Churrería El Moro locations the next time you visit Mexico City.

Got an order of 4 churros with caramel (cajeta) and guava (Guayaba) dipping sauces, they were out of chocolate. You can have them tossed in regular sugar or cinnamon sugar which is traditional. The churros were warm and crispy on the outside and soft inside but had a slight burnt flavor. Both dipping sauces were good but in a different way. It's like donuts topped with caramel or guava, one is more fruity and the other more sweet. Just depends what you're in the mood for or what you prefer. I also got the frances hot chocolate which is their hot chocolate with vanilla. It was better than what I had earlier at another place. Overall the churros were good but not the best i've had.

Incredibly, each taco came at just 10 pesos, and you could help yourself to as much guacamole salsa, shredded lettuce, and pickled carrots/jalapeños as you'd like. The Chicharron tacos were meaty, while the Papa was starchy and mild. The one taco that was nearly inedible, however, was the Frijoles Refritos, which were incredibly salty.
