These are the best island TACOS out there! This place has good Pastor, Bistek, Fajita, and Barbacoa meats. I don't know any other place that can excel in all meats being good. The borracho beans were excellent. The red salsa was so delicious and very spicy. We went two nights in a row to this place. I did notice that they were understaffed, so our order did take some time (20 min) to arrive. I still give it a five star despite that because of how delicious the tacos were. The corn tortillas were okay, my brother and I ordered the crazy nachos, I asked for no meant but with everything else and she came out with just plastic disgusting cheese. Tried this local taco shop on a Wednesday night at about 10:20 pm. It was packed!! I was very excited that it was packed because that must mean they have great food right?! Ehh...... yeah. The food was decent, but the service was nothing to write home about. I ordered the Locos Special Plate which is 6 mini street tacos on corn tortillas with queso fresco, onions and cilantro and I chose the Bistek as my meat. You can also choose barbacoa, chicken, pastor, or chicharron. I also ordered the side of beans which were excellent! I ordered all of this to go since it was pretty warm in the dining area and there were lots of people waiting to order at the window, waiting for a table to be cleaned, and people who already ordered scattered just to make it a little more confusing for people walking in to not know what to do. If you don't understand Spanish, you're even more out of luck as it's even tougher to judge where to go. I patiently waited about 20 minutes for my food which was expected since I was a first hand witness to all of the chaos. Then 30 minutes rolled by and people who ordered after me got their food. I politely asked if my order was finished and the poor girl had no clue where it was. I located it sitting on the counter in a to go bag and asked if that was it and it took them a few minutes to figure it out but they confirmed it was indeed mine. Whew If it wasn't for the decent quality and taste of the food, green salsa, and those beans, my star rating wouldn't have been as good. I ordered 3 tacos bistec and 3 tacos Trompo. Both were on corn tortilla with everything. I was not blown away by the tacos even with homemade salsa. The frijoles especiales were pretty good (bacon, white cheese, onion, etc). The potato was probably the worst thing we had. Bland (no flavor) with this layer of thick cheese . I have never left a review but i recently went with my girl friend and I felt I got ripped off!. We each ordered the 6 fajita corn tacos and for the appetizer we got 1 baked potato with the chips and meat of our choice. The appetizer was definitely not good it smelled horrible. Not sure if it was supposed to smell like that but it somehow tasted the same way how it smelled. It was around $65 for all of that! I'm genuinely thinking of disputing the charge with my bank. So SAD, how horrible this place is. We had the best food here 7 months ago. Not any more. Pork taco meat crispy and hard to chew. Menudo served in a Styrofoam beverage glass!!! HELLO! Drink it? $2.00 for a tortilla to go with it. One tortilla,, $2.00???. Chewy and lacking REAL Flavor. Served with a cup each of cilantro, chopped onion, and 7 slices of lime, very liberal ratio, considering the price of tortillas. I gave them a call and they were laughing at me joking with me then I heard silence then I heard nothing I asked them in English and in Spanish if they were a business and they were just laughing. Then I get there and I asked the lady if I could have the owner or manager's phone number and they laugh at me and the cook stares at me confrontational like he wants to fight me or something. What a terrible business. They told me they cannot understand me and I was speaking in their native language. They hire some terrible terrible people here. food was pretty good. i got the quesabirria tacos, which were pretty tasty but the consomé was pretty small. it was six tacos advertised at around $12-13, which seemed like an excellent deal to me. i went with my girlfriend's family and man the bill was so disappointing. they add an automatic 20% fee for their tip, and for 6 people the bill was $127 dollars. one child for a 5 dollar hot dog, and everyone else got plates averaging about 10-14 dollars. the plates alone would add up to around $70 dollars if i'm pushing it, then the sodas maybe another $20. i have no idea how the bill ended up that expensive, definitely check your receipts. read more

Got two orders to go, one of bistec and the other pastor, worst tacos we've had in the valley. The tortillas were hard, oily, and did not taste fresh. As for the meat, the bistec were the only ones that tasted okay. The pastor lacked meat and had no flavor. Don't think I'd try these again. read more

Went back in April w a group of 13 people and as soon as we step in the restaurant the owner/manager had a bad attitude to everyone in the building. The waitress were lost and couldn't do their job right, they forgot to take two of our drinks and we got up to tell the manager and he told us "SIT down" in spanish very bossy of him. The FOOD came out quick and when we touched it it was COLD AND HARD. Lemonade was NASTY as well as the sodas tasted weird. Definitely would not recommend this place we got food poisoning that night.
