    Food Truck

Pittsburgh...I'll be back. Lol! In my best Arnold S. voice. When I say these tacos were fire....they were !!! We were sitting waiting to eat at Cheesecake Factory. They said be an hour. We were starving so we thought let's try this food truck. Taco appetizers!! There was a 20 minute wait. No big deal. Cheesecake Factory text came soon as our tacos were ready. I ate both my Taco Loco chicken tacos. Tacos were $4.95 a piece and worth it. They were filled with meat. Perfect balance of protein and toppings. Chicken was well seasoned. So delicious!! My son friend got 3 lamb tacos. He said they were good. My son dad got think 2 tacos. He said they were really good. Oh their salsa Verde was bomb!! I just got some cheesecake at the other place. Lol. I was full from the tacos. Employees were super super nice. Support this business if you see it.

Was in Garfield for their First Friday of the mont festival/stroll. Don't know it's official name but my first time exploring this neighborhood and event. What a nice night to explore art, wares, food. This food truck business was beaming with business. A bit of a wait but not bad and food was so worth it. I just got two soft tacos with shredded pork, cilantro, onion, lime, and salsa Verde. My type of tacos! I ate them sitting on a curb listening to a guy playing guitar and singing. Not too shabby at all! The food, service, and prices were great.

Some tasty Mexican food served here. This place operates as a food truck but they are often in the same spot. The food is good, and they have all the classic Mexican American dishes like burritos, tacos, and more. I tried their cheese quesadilla and tres leches cake. Both the items were more than satisfactory. I wanted a really simple but well made quesadilla, and I got it. The flavor wasn't really anything special but it hit the spot. Size is excellent and it is cut up very conveniently. A lot of cheese, but the quality seemed just okay. Decent crisp. But man, the price! It was an awesome deal for under $6. That's usually the price for a kids portion, not a 12" quesadilla! Really appreciate the deal. The tres leches was high quality as well. It was a bit more expensive, but I think it was worth it. Good portion. I would have enjoyed it more if it was soaked in more sweet milk, since it was a tad dry. But overall, still super tasty. All in all, this was a great place to get some tasty Mexican food. They have some awesome deals and the portions are great too. I recommend both the quesadilla and the tres leches.

Incredible and authentic Mexican food! At 8 month pregnant this is my go to craving. Service couldn't be nicer, and it's a great place to sit outside for a taco. I typically get a shrimp tostada and a crunchy chicken taco. My husband wasn't super impressed with the ground beef, but I've never had anything I didn't like here.

Tl;Dr: delicious authentic tacos and burritos in cute food truck stop! ~~~~~~~ Always drive by this place, finally decided to try it on a random Monday night after craving burritos for days. The set up is super cute with an area to sit out front the truck (uncovered outdoor) and decorated seasonally. Wasn't super busy on a Monday which was nice but had a steady flow as we waited for our food. Ordered the traditional steak burrito and traditional tinga burrito after googling what tinga is (spicy shredded chicken). Also got chips/guac and a boat load of salsa. You have to order salsa individually (25 cents each) which was fine but would have preferred an option for one larger container. Everything is cooked to order and smelled amazing. The burrito is the most perfectly wrapped burrito you will find in Pittsburgh. FLavors were remarkable!!! I've been seeking good authentic Mexican food since moving to PGH from SoCal and this might be the answer! Probably the most authentic food I've had here. So delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked and not chewy. Salsas were so flavorful - I'm glad we ordered so many. The Super Hott was as advertised and actually had a kick to it too which again was a pleasant surprise in Pittsburgh! Street parking on Penn can be tricky but usually can find something nearby and is free after 6p. Pricing was fair. You can also order ahead online if you want. Overall highly recommend!!

I pass by this place all the time and the smell just let's itself right into my car window. Like a cartoon smoke hand beckoning you to this food truck It finally got me, I just pulled over on a whim after getting a whiff. It was delightfully delicious and surprisingly affordable! Service was so friendly and quick! The lady that rung us out was like "Oh, you've never tried us before?! You are going to love it!" She was not wrong at all! We loveeeed it, she saw us chowing down in the car as we fumbled tacos to give her the thumbs up of approval! So yummy. I tried the tacos locos which was a hard shell, inside of a soft shell with a layer of cheese in between. So crunch, so cheesy, so tasty! I got one Al, pastor, one chicken and one carnitas. All of them were fantastic. The pastor and the chick will be my go-to orders though. Just extra amazing. The Mexican street corn was not photographed because it was a delicous mess of flavor and love. I was a mess while devouring it. The rice and beans were really good too! (Before my boyfriend spilled it all over my car!) Car dates. lol. Highly recommend also trying the tres leches! Again, not pictured because I was too busy enjoying every morsel of it and forgot! Ordering ahead of time was super easy and convenient especially because it let's you put specific plate numbers so if you are ordering for a a couple people the tacos shouldn't get messed up. Ordering ahead the amount of time for the order to be ready wasn't bad either. One of my new favorites on one of my everyday routes. A little problematic lol. Also it was totally budget friendly! It does not break the bank at all!

Stopped here for lunch today. The service and food are outstanding. It's nice to have the option to sit on the patio to eat, too.

The food was very tasty. As good as the Tinga Taco Salad was we loved the street corn even more. Very flavorful without being salty. It was a busy night and took a little bit to wait in line and then to get our food but we will definitely be coming back.

Super tasty! I'll come back here again for sure. Everything was cooked to order. I had one crispy beef taco and one crispy chicken taco. I really liked the mango habanero salsa. Also tried the pineapple salsa, but I think this didn't go as well with what I had. I moved here recently from SoCal and can give this pretty close to 5 stars.

This truck is in my neighborhood so we swing by usually once a week in the summer as a treat. The tacos are authentic~completely. Everything is made on the spot so you know what you're eating is fresh and hasn't been sitting around like it might if you were to go to a chain restaurant. Service is quick and accurate.

The food was fresh and delicious! They were at Refucilo Winery when I first tried them. Their chorizo was very good and not too greasy.

We just ordered takeout online. I got the Umami Gold poke bowl and it was fabulous! The yellowtail was so fresh. My fiancé got the California Avenue poke bowl and overall enjoyed it, although he thought that the rice was a tad too salty. We got the smaller size of the bowls and they were still huge - we couldn't finish all of the rice! We also split the California Avenue roll and loved it - the pieces were also pretty big. The seafood they use is actually pretty fresh, and they are generous with the fish portions. I've gotten the Jack and yellow a few times (yellowfin tuna, yellowtail, jalapeno chips, and wasabi mayo) and have been pleased. It does have a kick with the wasabi mayo so beware! I would love to see them offer more sushi burrito options (currently only 3 on the menu) or a build your own style option. The sushi rolls are simple, but yummy. This is a good spot if you're craving simple, fast casual seafood, with quality ingredients. The staff have been so kind too!

I was actually quite impressed with how well it was prepared. Nice and flaky but didn't fall apart. The bun it comes on is well proportion with the fish. The only thing I could've went without, was the macaroni salad topped on the fish. However, the food here never disappoints. I'll be back.
