i love the dental staff there! The doctors and hygienist was amazing! The front stuff on the other hand are no help at all. I came in for a dental exam and to have my tooth pain looked at. The doc was amazing and walked me through everything! The front staff had no idea what to do, I called to have them send papers over to my OB to get approved for surgery and my meds and they still have yet to send it. I'm so sad because the doctors were amazing but the front office ruins this experience for patients. I worked at a dental office for 2 years and i know how it goes, these ladies need better training or need to work at another profession. read more

This was my first time visiting Dr. Tara Rios. There was initially some confusion with my insurance coverage that led to me having to contact the Office Manager. The Office Manager made it a point to help me resolve the issue and was extremely professional. While the front desk staff was rude and lacking communication skills, the management made up for it with their quick and helpful response to the situation. read more

Frank Ruiz in the last week Well I got here 20 min before my appointment and confirmed with then all the information they needed. They took 3 patients before me that got to the office after I did. We all know that no doctors office takes you on time. The thing is that when you take the patients that are late to their appointments before you that you are on time well I does not feel good. I think they were having better service before they opened this new location. I also had to remind them and make an appointment for myself since they stated " I'm not sure why we never set up your next appointment we forgot to call your for your cleaning " in short do not depend on them for being punctual or reminding you of your next cleaning 6 months after your visit. read more

Made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for my family today was the appointment and they wouldn't see us. It was at 3, at 3:20 the lady calls us and it's to inform us that they couldn't see us at the Alton gloor office that they were sorry for the inconvenience. They had 2 weeks to verify my insurance and figure out and let me know. I had to take the day off of work, take the kids out of school all for nothing. Then the lady with glasses at the front desk was rude and unprofessional, when I asked her why they hadn't checked and let me know beforehand she put her hands up and cut me off saying I know nothing about billing I just answer phones. Just left this place. It was the worst experience of my life. I barely got my insurance this year for 2 free dentist visits each year with teeth cleaning included in the visit. Everything went well, I even saw the dentist. When they were about to begin the cleaning, they informed me at the last second that they couldnt do the free cleaning, they had to do a $50 procedure. I informed them that I didn't have the money to pay put of pocket, and I'd just take the free cleaning. The lady then told me that they had to do the $50 procedure 1st before they could do the free cleaning. I got very upset and wanted to leave, but the lady told me I had to sign some papers before I left (their billing stuff so they could get paid for the visit). Now I have to call my insurance to make sure this doesnt count as the cleaning/dentist visit. read more

Terrible experience with billing. My children paid the amount they were told was due ($150) during their visit and a few weeks later I get a notice that the account is past due and would be sent to collections if not paid within 15 days. We were not aware there was a past due amount. The "past due amount" was over $200! So disappointed. read more

Horrible bed side manner from "the"Tara Rios. It's a shame because all her staff is excellent. It is horrible how she made me feel so insignificant due to the insurance I have, as if I couldn't afford treatment. I am shocked and horrified by her lack of respect and lack of professionalism. I had to ask for the treatment plan because if I hadn't, she would not have explained anything at all to me. She seems so nice in pictures and says the right things in video, but in person she is absolutely negative and arrogant. I am in disbelief. I had heard so many horrible things about her but never thought they'd be true. Please do yourself a favor and head to Dr.Osborn in Valley Dental. He knows how to explain treatment, tret patients beyond expectations and has great bed side manners. Please don't let people, simply because they have a medical background, to treat you like anything less than you deserve. These people..Doctors..need us for their practice. If they are not good and make you feel like you don't belong or ashamed of why you're seeing them, fire them. We are the patients and we call the shots when treated with such disrespect.
