Great flamenco show with two dancers and two musicians. The show I attended was 40 minutes long and cost around 20 euros pp. i enjoyed the music and dancing they had to offer. There's a bar with drinks for purchase as well. Seating is one a first come, first service basis.

All of the dancers, the singer and guitarist.

Such an adorable shoe file for a great price. The voice of the singer was amazing!! The guitar is captivating. Recommend!

We were recommended by some locals to check out Tarantos for a flamenco show. Compared to other places, this place was a steal! We got our tickets for only 15€. A lot of other establishments will charge you at least 40€. We were so lucky bc we came on a night when the famous El Yiyo y El Tete performed. I have no words to express how phenomenal this show was! Watching the brothers perform literally took my breath away. They performed with so much passion and emotion, that chills went down my whole entire body. The live music was also fantastic! The musicians captivated the audience with the beautiful sounds. I could literally sit there for hours and listen. Just a heads up, if you want a good seat, make sure you get there early bc the line tends to get long!

The flameco performance here was recommended and tickets offered by our tour group, Free Walking Tours Barcelona. We figured it would be touristy, which it was, but went for it anyway. There are 4 showtimes during the summer tourist season (3 during the off-tourist season) on the half hour starting at 730PM, each lasting about 30-40 min. We chose the 730PM so we could find a place to eat dinner after the show. We arrived a little less than 1 min before showtime and about of the seats were taken. Womp womp. My understanding was our tour group would save us seats, but nope. Get there early, seats are first come first served. The seats toward the back aren't as good but it's a small venue so it's not terrible. As mentioned in another review, the first show is a warm up. They don't tell you this, but it makes sense. The first 5-10 min were spent listening to the guitar and people warming up their vocal cords. Fortunately, the performance improved in the last two sets and I got more into it than I expected. Unfortunately, once I was feeling it, it ended. They clear out the entire venue after each show so not sure how one reviewer said you could stay for another one, but you could ask before you leave. At 15€ per person, it's an inexpensive way to see and experience flamenco while in Barcelona. Just make sure to book a later time for a better performance.

The show itself was much more simple than I anticipated, with one female dancer (without the castenettes), one guitarrist, two vocalists, and one percussionist. I learned that the castennetes are not typical and the red dresses that we often see and associate with flamenco are. It necessarily a critical part of the tradition as the dancing and music. We learned first hand what Flamenco is supposed to be. The setting here is small and much more intimate and allowed us to appreciate just how amazing the dancing is. So much passion! The voices were absolutely phenomenal and the dancers, both Suzanne and Juan, were so talented. I could not believe how fast they could move their feet. We looked around for a great Flamenco experience but some of them were just so expensive. This was only 15 Euro per person and such an incredible value.

We wanted to have a flamenco experience but didn't want to be locked in for whatever meal would be included at other places. We found this show on TripAdvisor and found an early show at 8:30 that allowed us to go eat nearby after the show, We opted for just the show tickets, though you can also get a drink or meal as well. The show started with some Flamenco guitar and singing, from a guitarist, two vocalists, and a persuasionist, Then a couple of dancers took the stage, with each taking their turn. They entertained us, dancing and singing for nearly 45 minutes, and we greatly enjoyed their passionate performance. For a fun Flamenco experience in Barcelona, check out this show.

The show is fantastic and worth the trip BUT it is only only a half hour long. I went with a wedding group as a pre-arranged ticket and would have loved to have known how short the show was in advance. Our show started late and was cut short by the lead dancer (probably to keep everything on time). The audience and even the musicians seemed surprised when he called for the finish. The singers and dancers are first class but I wish the show would have lasted at least a half hour if not an hour. They move guests out quickly after each show and turn it over so they can perform 3-4 shows each night.

I cant remember exactly how much we paid each but it was definitely much more affordable than any flamenco show I've been to in the past. I was drawn to this as it was only a 30 minute slot and with my brother not being particularly keen on such things I thought it would suit us all. He ended up loving it! The venue is very intimate and the stage isn't really big enough for the dancers and the band but you still get a good show out of it. The vocals of the band are probably more impressive than the dancers! If you fancy a taste of Spanish dance, song and guitar at an affordable price then this is a no brainer. Located on a beautiful, lively square just off Las Rambla it's easy to find and surrounded by bars and restaurants so you can easily make a night of it. I ordered the 1551 Codorniu cava and a chap at the bar gave me a thorough lesson on the history of the house and the wine itself, he happened to be an off duty tour guide! It's made by the oldest wine house in Spain and tasted delicious. I've since found out you can buy it here in most supermarkets, Yipee!

10 euros if you didn't buy it online and print out the ticket first. You would also have to wait for all the ticket holders to go in first then get a standing room only spot for the show. We didn't want to have to come back another evening so we sucked it up and paid 20 euros for two of us. The over priced sangria (8 euro for half liter, no single glass available) was actually pretty tasty and gave my wife a nice buzz for couple hours. Small band of drums guitar flute bass and vocal performed several songs then the flamenco dancers joined. The dancers were skilled but the dancing wasn't spontaneous or passionate as I envisioned the style should be. I couldn't help but feel that these are overly commercialized talents. It's a good introduction to flamenco if you just want a little taste of it. Not recommended if you are a connoisseur of flamenco... or actually of dancing in general.

Tourist trap. I paid 17 Euro for the 30 minutes show and it ends exactly 30 minutes, no more. Over 1/2 are singing, singing, and singing. Where is the expected dance part? Sorry only a guy dance for a song, a lady dance for 1/2 song. Go back and watch youtube with a beer! Save the $$. Most things in Gothic Quarter are tourist traps. The La Rambla outdoor dining places even charges me 5.5 Euro for a Spirit! They thought they are Four Seasons....

I was a little disappointed that during the night performance, the patio area with the famous mosaic columns was completely closed off. It's one of the highlights of the building, and I was really hoping to see it lit up at night. Apparently, it's only open during day tours, which is kind of a bummer if you're only going for a show. Also, heads up -- the main photo you see everywhere is taken from the upstairs balcony seats, so if that's the view you want, book accordingly.

We had a master plan to arrive at the church by 7:30 am and go inside. Unfortunately, others had the same plan. In fact, a line was wrapped around the church at 7:30 am, which means hundreds or maybe even a thousand folks had the same idea. They must have starting arriving at 5 am. So we could only view the church from outside again... The history... The idea for the La Sagrada Família began in the 1860s, when a religious group in Barcelona wanted to build a church dedicated to the Holy Family. Interestingly, the project was funded by private donations. Construction officially started on March 19, 1882 under architect Francisco de Paula del Villar, who planned a traditional neo-Gothic church. In 1883, a young architect named Antoni Gaudí took control and completely changed everything. He transformed the design into something radical and unique, inspired by nature, geometry, and religion. From 1914, Gaudí devoted himself entirely to the project. He worked on it for over 40 years, but when he died in 1926, only a small part of the basilica was finished. At that point, the building was less than a quarter done. The La Sagrada Família project faced major interruptions. In 1936, during the Spanish Civil War, construction completely stopped. Gaudí's workshop was destroyed, and many of his plans and models were lost. This was a huge setback because future architects had to rebuild his designs from fragments. Construction slowly resumed in the 1950s. Architects used surviving materials and photos to continue Gaudí's vision. During 2005, parts of the basilica became a UNESCO World Heritage site. In 2010 the church was officially consecrated and became a functioning basilica. Sagrada Família is one of the longest-running building projects in the world and the largest unfinished Catholic Church.
