Also this "store" was listed under thrift shops. As we entered, we saw that in the back there are a few areas with vintage items and some antiques. But the place is more of a collection of artisan offerings -- each with their own area -- of everything from jewelry to painted signs, gifts and tourist things. Housewares to home decor; bric a brac to collectibles. Handmade and custom creations. The staff is quite nice. The store is fun to browse. And the kind of place to look for a unique gift for that someone who has everything.

The staff knows their inventory and are helpful and enthusiastic. They love what they and it shows. I travel from the North side. The salon is very clean, and calm. They play a good mix of music from all over the place. To me, it has been worth every penny I've paid to see my color be exactly what I want it to be. When you go and you want your hair colored a specific way, come in with an open mind and she will guide you the rest of the way. When I tell you, this sweet young lady was on her knees putting on and taking off shoes for this man I was so surprised because I don't ever see workers helping like that. we shared a very lovely conversation along with some laughs, and I ended up buying 3 pairs of shoes for myself as well as my daughter (thanks to her lol!!) Mrs Bri recommended to my little girl and my daughter loved them!!! while checking out a woman came in with her son, her son lit up with a huge smile when he saw Brianna working and ran to her and gave her a hug!!! the way she was with my daughter and seeing how this young boy reacted to her just reassured me with just how sweet she is and caring. The mother of this young boy and I had a conversation about Brianna and she told me she only comes in when Brianna is working that she helps her and her son (who has a disability)find the perfect shoes for him and makes it fun so he focuses, also said her little boy had left an expensive electronic behind at the store one time and Brianna took the time to go through their system and find their number !!! Moral of the story is you guys have an amazing young woman named Brianna or Bri working for you, she is so kind and sweet she genuinely cares about her customers and finding them exactly what they need or want or sometimes us customers don't even realize what we want or need until she tells us lol!! We travel all over the country...in small resort towns/communities like this you get one of two experiences 1) they make you feel welcome, like you live there...and it makes you want to live there! Or 2) You are a tourist and we can't be bothered. Two of the employees, a tall older lady...and a younger gal stood in the middle of the clothing section complaining about how crowded the store was, and how they couldn't wait for the sale to be over. Ummmm what? There were four of us shoppers (didn't know one another) all looking at one another like "They can see us right?" Another gal had questions about some art on the wall, and she could not get anyone to help her. I had 10 items to try on, you can only take 5 in...so while I was trying on the first 5, the sales woman kept apologizing to those waiting saying "she has a lot of stuff, so sorry" Sooo I didn't try on the other five. Bought three of the first 5 and felt very rushed. Bottom line I think the locals and their family/friends keep them busy enough, so no need to worry about the tourists. That's the vibe. The sales team needs to be a little more aware that we are in the store for an experience, not because we have nowhere else to shop.

There was even a product included to prolong the life of the flowers. I also asked that the message on the card be written in Filipino and I was so glad that my request was happily granted.
