During the whole workout you couldn't relax or even hear the virtual instructor for the shrieks and screaming- then her saying "we don't scream/shhhh". I decided NOT to join because I feel that was so unprofessional. I get that you are young and you have a family but think of it this way-how would you feel if you came to workout, relax and have a good workout-but you can bc you have to hear somebody's child screaming!! It's freaking annoying!!! Also, I want to note I went up to ask the young lady a question at the front. I look over and see the owner not even looking up- texting on her phone while I'm standing up there waiting for an answer. I feel she's extremely snooty. I'll stick with Planet Fitness! I'm not trying to be mean, but if you have a child either stay home with him or either put him in daycare. For the membership price of this studio, which is pricey you should not have to hear a baby shrieking and screaming during your workout!! Keep your baby at home!!! My friend says it's not only during the day but it's in the afternoons/evenings as well!!! Turn into the McDonalds, Tacobell, Bojangles shopping center near the 64 Business and 64 Bypass exit, turn right just after the Mcdonalds like you're going to Ribeyes or the Dollar Country. Follow that road all the way back until you see the building on the left with the FREE GYM banner. They are located right next to a flooring store. I'm not sure what their hours are so you may want to call first. The owner Sean is really cool and all the employees are super knowledgeable about the products. Check them out!! You can also just go there to buy smoothies. They give you a token to come back and visit the gym if you want. I don't know of another smoothie joint in town. I usually have to drive to Rocky Mount if I want a smoothie :( - not anymore!!!

They continually upgrade their equipment. They are not known as the hippest gym in town, but it is a great place to work out. The one area they are lacking is updating the dressing rooms / restrooms. The entire time I have been a member the facilities have always been below standard. If this were remediated I would give them 5 stars.

They wouldn't accept that, we had to go in-person or they wouldn't accept it. (Shows you what they actually think about the health of their clients.) Didn't get cancelled, the payroll draft was still going out. Tried to cancel through other means (bank/work) but no, only in the gym itself. Eventually went in, filled out forms, done -- or so we thought. Payday comes, still going out. Okay, maybe we missed the cutoff for that month? Waited, and nope, still going out. My husband called them and complained. Manager was very apologetic--the paperwork wasn't done right, employee was new, mistake on their end etc. It would be cancelled and we would be refunded. Nope. Payday again, it's STILL going out. Called them AGAIN...and this time, they say "oh but it's a 30 day contract so we're allowed to charge you for another 30 days AFTER you cancel..." Get outta here. You've been taking $60 a month from my family for MONTHS, stop stealing peoples money you skeezy, unprofessional bunch of scammers.

Normally I train about 1 to 1.5 hours a everyday but this 2 hour no gi class was one hell of a workout for me. We started with some conditioning to get warmed up (way better than running around in a circle to warm up) then went into the tech of the day. After that we had rounds. And rounds. and more rounds. Man I was exhausted when I left. They train and fight hard. All of his students are friendly and eager to learn and grow. Scott is a legit black belt and WRECKED me for two whole rounds. Worth It. If you are looking to get in shape, stay in shape, or learn how to be a monster on the mat this is the gym for you. I can not recommend this place enough. The vibe is so chill yet everyone is there to get down. Great for beginners all the way through to experienced grapplers. Come test yourself mentally and physically and Wilson premier jiu jitsu gym!
