And have always been satisfied with the quality, and customer service. up to now. Others we have worked with have always been, what we call 'southern ladies'. However when we recently purchased a $2000 recliner, which showed signs of defect in only days. I was accused by the manager of that store of using heating pads or some other device that stretched the leather. Questioning my integrity her saying "that's how how that happens. And it wasn't like that when it left" Of course it wasn't. I would never had bought it! I have never dealt with someone so aggressively vicious towards a customer. I thought I was in Walmart. Not the store. Just some of the people. The furniture is fantastic. As are the vast selection's of furniture. Finer than anything you can find in Anderson The workers in the store have always been wonderful. I Imagine this new 'type' manager was put in place, because of the theft from the last manager. However, this one has no social skills! Or understanding of the english language. Causing her to leash out against me when I said" "Madam, please. I did not use a heating pad" Sadly she only understood that word to mean she ran a brothel ? Which caused her to go ballistic on me. Where I had to hang up. Or react as a person I wish not to be. I then sent a text trying to explain my use of the word 'madam' as I was taught. Maybe I'm just too old (82). Or raised in a different world. We were taught It Is a respectful word signifying a woman with authority. As in "Madam Speaker of the house" She has never apologized. For her misunderstanding, even after I cut and pasted the definition. "Madam" (pronounced /mædm/) is a formal, polite term of address for a woman, often implying high social status, authority, or respect (e.g., "Madam President"). Originating in the 13th century from the French ma dame ("my lady"), it historically denoted a mistress of a household. Synonyms include dame, gentlewoman, and lady. " There were NO brothels where I grew up nor any use of that word meaning other than respect to a lady. As a successful retired business man. I would suggest that 'higher management', speak with their other employees. To see if this is a isolated case. Or just a bad hair day for her. We have now lost our favorite furniture store. As long as she remains management or until I receive a formal apology. We will not walk into that store again. It truly is our loss. However I will not expose my wife or myself to that type of treatment from a sales person. As for those 'ladies' who work there. We thank you for your kindness in trying to help. As I have said. Those that have been there for are the epitome of a southern lady. Thank you

I liked that each person told me their name and asked me to let them know if I needed help. The place is massive. Much bigger than I expected. They said they get a truck full of furniture weekly so the stock is always changing. The nice thing is that most of the stock is available right away. Yet they do have some things that you can special order with the fabric of your choosing. Most of the furniture seemed to be mid grade in quality. Nothing junky but I don't think I saw a bunch of high end products. The prices seemed fair. I liked how they had furniture arranged into seating areas. Makes it easy to see how things would look pulled together. I was looking for something very specific that I did not find that day but I will definitely be back again. Especially since you probably see a totally different store every time you go in.

They tore up my walls and the furniture. To the stores credit, the manager quickly had the furniture that had been destroyed by their movers replaced and called a handyman. Unfortunately, after three weeks and multiple visits, he was still unable to repair the damage. I requested my own contractor and the owner got involved. Horrible woman. Didn't apologize for the mess her store made of my home but yelled at me that she had to interrupt her dinner to call me. I'd been told (by her) she would call that day and when I called at nearly 6pm was told she'd left. I asked that they get her a message that I'd like a call before 9 at her convenience but I needed a call. She was angry that she chose to interrupt her own dinner to call me and that I didn't want to use anyone else she chose. Then, the last part of my order came in and it is not as represented in the store. Instead of honoring the stores reputation and taking it back, she called me someone of poor character that can't be pleased. So, to recap, I have given them more than three weeks of time, taken off work early multiple times, allowed her to send in her handyman and her contractor to review the handyman work, insisted that I use someone I chose to complete the work which she didn't want to do, and asked for a refund for a mattress that was not the same quality as the one I saw in the store. For this, she calls, screams at me, refuses a refund, and tells me to stay out of her store. She didn't have to worry - I never plan to go in again. I'm in tears and she doesn't care. All she cares about is that she chose to step away for 20 minutes from a weekly dinner. She ridiculed my concerns saying it was "just a wall" and "just a mattress". Stay far away.

When I needed a dresser for my bedroom, I just ordered it from Wood You figuring I would get the same. Unknown to me, my dresser was from a different manufacturer. I ordered the dresser, had Wood You finish it for me. When it was delivered, I was severely disappointed. The bottom of the dresser is not completely enclosed and the center between the drawers is also not one piece. There were missing knot holes, loose knot holes and rough knot holes in the drawers. The interior of the drawers were very rough, enough so that delicate items would be snagged. The veneer finish on the bottom of one drawer was pealing. The scant pieces that were on the bottom of the dresser were not square or level. When I brought this up to Wood You, they were happy to refinish and smooth the interior of the drawers for me for no charge. This is the only reason I am giving them four stars. Pay attention to the manufacturer, do not buy the Adams 61" 6 drawer dresser from Fighting Irish. I paid over $500 for the dresser and paid Wood You to finish it for me. I wouldn't give you $100 for the dresser. If I can figure out how to post pictures, I will. If I was Wood You, I would not include this manufacturer in my line up.

When we went in, we were greeted by Alex. We told him what we were looking for. He asked if we had been in the store before. He was very informative, helpful, but he wasn't pushy at all. He allowed us to browse but was available in case we had any specific questions. I would recommend this furniture store. They have a huge inventory and staff are friendly. We went on President's Day and sale prices were good. If you go in, ask for Alex. Tell him Kathy sent you. (Sorry I forgot to take pictures. I took off work for a Tuesday morning delivery, but Ashley changed the delivery window three times and then never showed up. We heard nothing for two days. When the chairs were finally delivered, that window was changed twice as well, and they arrived in a rental truck because we were told the Ashley truck had broken down. The chairs were left sitting in our driveway, out of their boxes and wrapped only in torn plastic. When we unwrapped them about a week later, we found poor craftsmanship, missed stitching, loose threads, and a puncture hole. Customer service was even worse. Ashley repeatedly placed the burden of solving the problem back on us. One representative requested photos and promised to find a solution. Instead, we received an email two days later saying parts had been ordered and that we should call to schedule a repair. This was never discussed with us or approved. Are they really planning to reupholster two brand-new chairs instead of replacing the damaged furniture they delivered? Ashley also claims damage must be reported within three days, despite its own failed delivery and the condition in which the chairs arrived. I am now disputing the purchase through my bank. We are stuck with two damaged chairs and no acceptable resolution. The delivery was unreliable, the quality was unacceptable, and the customer service was atrocious. Pay more and shop somewhere else.
